I have been going to Bella Nails for a number of years. However, I have been very disappointed with their no-chip manicures lately. The whole point of the "shellac" no-chip manicure is to last approximately two weeks. At first, it seemed like it was working, but lately my nails chip within days. I use gloves to do dishes and clean. Yesterday, I got my nails done, went on a grocery errand and my thumb nail polish came off and my nail is broken as well. This was barely 2 hours later. I could not go back to get it fixed because I was on my way to a family party and the salon was closed too. I am going in today and see how they will remedy this situation. read more

I just got my nails done, my nail tech was a gentleman, the owner he said, an I am not pleased at all. I went in for a shellac mani, it came out looking like an amateur did it, the polish came out unfull and wavy looking not were my sides/edges weren't covered... The polish was very far from cuticle. I LOVE this salon! I have been coming here on & off for 2 years. Sometimes I'm alone, sometimes I treat my mom, but most times my boyfriend is with me. He loves pedicures here (plays basketball, works with concrete, so I guess that says a lot). This particular visit I took with him last night really sealed the deal for me. I arrived at 7pm for 2 pedicures & a full acrylic set. Because I'm not that great at maintenance I decided acrylic was good for this visit. Within 5-10 minutes they had us in the chairs with the water running. Their $25 pedicures are the best you will get in town. So relaxing. As the technician was painting my toes she asked if I wanted a full set? I smiled and said yes. It was already past 7:30, their usual closing time. Straight from the pedi to the nail booth. There was no rush at all. It didn't feel like "Let's hurry, we're closed, give me your money." I forget her name but she took her time & did a wonderful job. (Mind you my nails were horrible when I arrived) We left around 8:45. My nails & feet were fabulous. My bf was relaxed & happy. Dirty! Lady was flossing while filing up a pedicure tub, everything is gross and dusty and the floor is gross. They don't sanitize their tools except for about 2 minutes in barbacide before they use them. Lady had me wait 15 minutes soaking my hands while she did someone's eyebrows today and there were like 5 other people working there and sitting in the back room. Then she came back and I had to ask her to wash her hands before she started to work on my nails. I've tried it twice now and each time I'm totally grossed out. Not going back. I'm afraid I will get some fungus or something. read more

The prices and service are great. There's a lot of parking available and I've never had to wait for more than 15 minutes to be seen.

Bella was your typical Asian-nail salon. I walked in and was taken right away. They had OPI and China Glaze nail polishes. The salon smelled of the usual artificial nail chemicals, which can be overwhelming when you are used to a natural nail salon. The place looked clean though, so that was good. There was the usual language-barrier between customer and technician, which is awkward I think, but you get used to it. The pedicure I had was affordable and decent for the price too. The pedicure chair was awful. There was no cushioning between the back of the chair and the massage/heat implements inside of the chair. You could feel the metal rods in the back, super uncomfortable. I didn't even turn on the massage part for fear of the pain! The tech was pretty rough on my feet and I get pedicures regularly so it's not like she had to go to town on them either. I didn't enjoy that part and at one point I thought she might have cut my skin it hurt so bad! (She didn't, thank goodness!) The scrub was a nice touch and the massage was quick, but relaxing enough. The polish turned out nice though and I'm very picky with that too. Overall, if you are looking for an affordable pedicure, go here. Not bad at all for $25. However, I will continue to go to my usual downtown Aveda spa for nail services as I am much more comfortable there. It's more expensive, but worth it! read more

I have been here several times and have not been disappointed. The location is perfect for me, just 5 minutes away. They have a nice selection of colors, even though I usually bring my own. The nail techs aren't overly chitchatty which I appreciate. They do a really good job on both my feet and hands, and my manicures last close to a week. They're also reasonably priced. This place is a rip off. They charged me $70 for a mediocre no-chip mani/pedi. I had no designs done, just the basics. The place isn't even that nice. It smelled like a mixture of chemicals and fish. Never going again! read more

Rude and horrible customer service. I came to get a pedicure (which are usually relaxing) however, this one was not. He (and I can only say he because he didn't introduce himself to me) was extremely rough on my feet and kept jabbing the nail tools in to my skin. When I finally said something and withdrew my foot from his hand, no apologies were made. Instead he decided to say something snarky in his language to the nail tech sitting next to him. After he was done, he just walked to the front so I assumed he was done and followed him. When it came time to pay though, he stayed to ring me up but only, I'm assuming, to see how much and if I would tip. I gave the lowest tip I've EVER gave anyone in my life and when he saw this, proceeded to smile, laugh and yell back to his other techs something in his language again (I'm assuming making fun of the tip I gave). Whatever. At that point I was too outdone and left. Will never be back again. There's way too many nail places in the city to receive that kind of treatment. read more

My mom goes there and seems pleased so I decided to try it out since my original nail tech at another salon was booked. First off I needed a fill and gel polish. The guy that I got did not fill my nails to my cuticle and in the end it looked like I had had them done at least a week ago. I asked for them to be short which he refused to do, he filed them crooked and when I told him what nails I would like fixed he got upset and threw the file on the table and told me to fix myself since it would be easier. Some nails have huge lumps near the cuticle which should have been filed down. And when he started to polish I pointed out that he was using the wrong color. Honest mistake since he grabbed the right number but not the right brand. I had him charge my debit card and asked him to cancel it out and recharge it an extra $5 so I could leave a tip that was not earned. He was still totally rude. If you go ask for Katie since she seems to be really nice and helpful. read more
