Like a lot of people, I adore long, curled lashes, but I have straight, medium length lashes that…read moremascara doesn't seem to make much of a difference for. I also have very sensitive eyes and skin, so I've tried many ways to get my lashes to stand out without irritation. It would seem that I'm doomed to live a life without the lashes I want. I've tried many mid to high end mascaras (Pat McGrath, Dior, Milk, Too Faced, etc.); used a Shue Uemura lash curler; and other popular mascaras that promise a lift and curl, but my lashes usually end up looking up the same as when I started because I can't get them to curl for long. Sometimes, a great curler can work, and it can also leave an ugly bend in the lashes if done wrong. It's a time consuming step to add to my routine. I also love the look of false eyelashes, but eyelash glue and me don't mix. Overall, it takes a lot of work to make my lashes work. I came to Luna Eyelash Lift to have a safer option than risking irritation caused by eyelash glues commonly used in eyelash extensions. It sounded like a simple process and I really like that a nourishing step is part of it. When I met with the technician, she was informative, answered any questions I had, the space was calming and she made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. She even said that it was fine if I fell asleep during the process, and I could see why as I felt at ease the whole time. She took about 1 hour for the whole process, and I couldn't stop staring at the noticeable curl I was left with. I had to abstain from wearing eye makeup for a 24 hour period to not offset the results of the lift. After that waiting period, I applied a mascara that doesn't irritate my eyes and couldn't stop admiring the results! The curl and lift from this treatment made my eyes look brighter, and my eyelashes were noticeably curled, separated, and lifted once I applied mascara. I didn't need to run an eyelash comb through them as I normally would! I usually apply dramatic eyeliner and skip mascara altogether because of how frustrating it is to get my lashes to stand out, but now I'm skipping the eyeliner. Even hours later, my lashes still maintain their beautiful curl. I can't get over how much my lifted lashes open up my eyes AND shorten my makeup routine. Plus, I haven't had any irritation from the process, so getting this eyelash lift was such a great decision! I love it!!

I will not get my lashes done anywhere else. I've gone to several places over the years in…read moreManhattan, Queens and Long Island and no place compared to them. I moved to Long Island and take the 1hr drive once a month. They last 3-4 weeks, all staff is extremely professional, the establishment is immaculate and they are reasonably priced. I go to Ava, but all the technicians are great. My eyes are very sensitive and I never have any issues. They're also very fast. It never takes longer than an hour. Lastly, in all my years going they have always run on time.

This will probably be my last time getting my lashes done here. And here are the reasons why:…read more 1. The third time I had my lashes done and Linda is the woman who did them. Unfortunately, like in my previous review, she did accidental pokes on my eye AND put pressure on my head AND on my newly done lashes, which is why in the picture below showed her progress of my lashes after a week later. More than half of my lashes were falling off. And I believe she didn't even dry them long enough. I talked to the manager about the situation and they gave a discount which is fine and allowed me to come in another time for a cheaper price. Thankfully, it stayed long enough and I had them done with Irene. Irene was probably the only person who does so well on my lashes so props to her. However, after that appointment, my experience with this location began to drift. Which leads me to reason number two. 2. I booked my lash appointment with Meena. I usually set up my appointments through their website and when I got to the place, Meena told me it would be $80 however I wanted a $50 for 2 weeks. I was genuinely confused about the booking process so I asked her why and was charging me extra. She laughs at my for being ridiculous and said that it is that way because I passed the time after 2 weeks which was definitely so odd since the fucked up my lashes and gave me another set of lashes for three weeks with a discount. My honest opinion, if it was that way then why allow the customer to even pick the option on the website if they were going to give me the original price at the place? It's just very misleading. Another thing, Meena could've been more reasonable and look at the customer's perspective more rather than LAUGHING at them. It's just awfully rude and disrespectful. Anyway, after the appointment, AGAIN, didn't dry my lashes long enough. Hopefully nothing goes wrong but I'm just letting everyone know from my experience that this place is just awful. The location is horrendous and I almost got stuck in their elevator before which is now broken down. If want lashes done, don't ever go here.
