I would give extra stars if I could. I found Rose after having bad extension experience elsewhere and extensive google search and compare. I phoned and didn't find her initially but she called back the same day to address my questions around hygiene and care, particularly as I developed a mild case of blepharitis with the previous place. Rose explained very patiently over the phone and I decided to pay her a visit. The visit, her patience, her kindness, her advice, her generosity, her service level and candor are bar none. Rose is high touch and most important of all, her technique and care to the process and my lashes are top-notch. I stumbled upon Rose when I was desperately trying to find someone who used Xtreme lashes to touch my lashes up before a wedding. She was so accommodating and fit me in right away. I had such an amazing experience with her, I never went back to my old lash studio! She cares about the health of your natural lashes and is so meticulous with her work. I've gone to many many other studios in the city and I either end up with lashes that look very fake or else look far too natural and sparse. Rose has given me the full, long lash look that I prefer while still looking natural. It's been 3 years since my first review of Lash Studio and its very talented owner and lash artist/technician Rose and i felt it was time to give an updated review. 6 or so years I've been consistently seeing Rose at Lash Studio for the maintenance of my lash extensions. I can say with honesty and confidence that there is no one and no place better. Time and time again i am impressed at what a beautiful job Rose does on my lash extensions. There are a few points I would like to make that i feel may be helpful for anyone looking for lash extensions My past experiences before Lash Studio: I have had lash extensions applied by 3 other technicians in the past. Not only once by each of those 3 separate technicians, but I spent at least a period of 3 months to over a year with each of those technicians, returning for touchups/fills. Oftentimes, after having extensions applied, my eyes would burn for a couple minutes, this was a result of technicians overapplying adhesive and not allowing enough time for it to dry before rushing me out the door. Also, my lash extensions would get tangled with each other all the time allllllllll the time, requiring me to constantly have to brush my lashes out (I thought this was normal, it isn't). Frequently, the extensions would poke my eyeball because the extension was attached to my laah in such a way that it would turn downward and poke my eye. All of these little things, I thought were just part of having extensions, but none of it has happened with Rose at Lash Studio. My experience with Rose at Lash Studio: Rose has helped me to understand the differences in quality and service when getting lash extensions. Rose is extremely professional and always listens to your wants and delivers to the best of her ability without sacrificing the health and condition of your natural lashes. This is an important point to mention.  While in the past, I have had bad experiences with other technicians overusing adhesive and essentially ruining the health of my natural lashes, Rose exercises care to assess the condition of your lashes to ensure that the weight of the extensions and the adhesive will not cause damage to your existing lashes. She will, when necessary, give recommendations to changing the length or of type of extension to use in order to keep the good health of your natural lash. Although Rose provides you with an eyelash brush after each appointment, I find that I very seldom brush my lashes, if at all. This speaks enormous volumes about her skill. My lashes never ever get tangled with each other. Rose has expert skill in carefully placing the extensions on each lash with the right amount of adhesive that the lashes keep their place and their upward lift perfectly. Never crossing with each other and never twisting or turning downward. Every time I leave an appointment I'm always more than satisfied with how my lash extensions look. People still always compliment my lashes,  never realising they are extensions until I mention they are extensions. And they are always surprised because they appear so natural. If you are looking to have extensions for the first time, I highly recommend Lash Studio because of the quality and service. If you already have extensions, go to see Rose and you'll wonder why you didn't come to her earlier. read more

I have been getting lashes done by Rose for years and I wouldn't go anywhere else if you paid me. She does a beautiful job and is so skilled and precise I have never had any discomfort or "bald spots" in my lashes. Rose is also very good about studying the shape of your face and eyes and designing a lash that will best compliment your look. Rose is a miracle worker! I cannot say enough great things about Rose's amazing work and her professional manner. I have been getting my lashes done by Rose for the last 7 years. I've gotten so many compliments, even from makeup artists who have seen their fair share of eyelash extensions. I have had friends who have gotten them done at cheap places - you can 100% tell the difference. My lashes always look amazing but never over the top or fake. Rose takes the time to figure out the best shape/length for you depending on your eye shape and eyelash condition. Her lashes never fall out prematurely or stick out of place. You really can't go wrong with Rose - she is professional, kind and a true master at her craft. After getting extensions at another establishment for many years, I realized the health of my lashes was deteriorating. I finally decided to bite the bullet and look for a new stylist. I did a mad search for the best xtreme lash stylist in NYC and stumbled upon Rose at The Lash Studio. Since day 1, she has been nursing my lashes back to good health, all while making them look stunning. Every time I see her, I walk out feeling more confident and beautiful. Yes, she may be pricier than others but I don't doubt she is worth every penny. One thing I have learned the hard way is that you get what you pay for, and that is most certainly the case with Rose.
