There are a variety of taco flavors to choose from, 3 for $18 and you can mix and match in any way you like!! (except for the shrimp where you must get 3 shrimp). The portion sizes were large and I thoroughly enjoyed the tacos as well. The guy working at the counter was really nice, giving us complimentary water and helping us order! I tried the carnitas (pork), barbacoa (beef), and the chicken (forgot the name). My order of preference was: chicken, pork, and beef. Enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend!

Now, to get back to the sound level of the TV - part of the problem was the employees had their own music playing behind the counter. I'm an engineer, so I have a db meter on my phone. While we ate I recorded the sound level in the room. It was between 70db and peaked at 90db. I've included a screenshot of the peak sound - you can see the equivalent level on the chart. I don't think I was out of line asking to turn it down (it was louder). A little cultural background music creates a pleasant ambiance. Loud music is just annoying - I won't return.

I had the quesadilla plate which was very plentiful and my boyfriend had the rice plate with chicken that was also very good. Prices were very reasonable as the two of us to eat (plus the chips and a a pop) was just about $45! Staff are very nice and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. This place is great and I'd highly recommend it!

My education is in Hotel Management and I'm super fussy about customer service and food quality. Once you've been there once, I love that the owner treats you like family. He knows I prefer vegetarian foods (or local grass-fed beef) and always has suggestions for me that may not even be as shown on the menu. I've seen him add a free chocolate chip cookie to a parent's order, when he sees a child with them. His attitude is "it's only a cookie, but the parents will remember me for it and, hopefully come back". That is exactly what great customer service should look like, but we all know that rarely these days is anything free. His potatoes with queso is a delicious Mexican treat with melted cheese etc.). He offers "bowls" for those who prefer not to have bread, although the burritos and quesadillas are awesome! For those nights when you don't feel up to cooking, it's great to have quality Mexican food in Fergus.
