    Pistachio and espresso

Great quick option for gelato on the pier! Be aware no samples and no half/half but if you want two flavors get a medium or larger. Espresso is pretty flavorful. The pistachio was delicate and springy!

Bella Gelato is like that unexpected plot twist in a beach day--you come for the sun, but stay for the sorbet. After dodging seagulls and getting roasted by the sun, that pistachio and raspberry combo hits like a cold, fruity hug. It's nutty, it's refreshing, it's everything my dehydrated soul needed. On a pizza scale it's a 8.7/10--would absolutely risk another sunburn for it.

2.5 stars, rounded up just because. Not thee best, but a welcome treat while in the area. I like to stop in here and get a churro next door then go eat by the water. Today I had the Spumoni, which had lower quality ingredients than I'm used to for gelato (the maraschino cherries were completely meh, and colored way too brightly). The chocolate part was very good though, and the chocolate chips were a pleasant surprise. For the quality, it's very pricey; over 10$ for 2 smalls is utterly ridiculous. I'll be back on account it's become a tradition when I'm at the pier though.

We found this delightful Gelato store on a visit to Redondo Beach Pier last weekend. A cool treat was just what we needed with the record breaking heatwave! The Gelato was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was very good and this store accepts Credit Cards ( there is an adjacent ice cream store that only takes cash), which was how we ended up there ( We seldom carry much cash) . There are many flavors to choose from, and I would definitely recommend this store during a visit to the Redondo Beach Pier

On the Redondo Beach pier; courteous friendly staff, reasonable prices, generous portions, great variety of gelato, non dairy sorbet offerings as well. Had the coconut cream and it was creamy, flavorful and refreshingly delicious. Enjoy as you walk along the pier taking on the glorious ocean view.

Nice gelato spot on the pier. Great variety of flavors. They let you taste test before you buy. I got the chocolate. Super creamy and yummy!!

Hair so close to the gelato.

The girl serving the gelato should tie her hair back better. It grossed me out seeing how close her hair was to the gelato as she was bent over scooping some up.

Super spot right on the pier. They have a dozen or so flavors including ice cream, gelato and sorbet. The lady behind the counter was so friendly and accommodating. Her small scoops are pretty large. Everyone left satisfied. It's not the very best ice cream but it's definitely great.

Sunshine + creamy cold gelato = bellisima! * GET - Belgian chocolate = creamy, sweet, delicious ~ * GET - Banana Walnut = refreshing * GET - Mocha Almond Fudge = oh so good! * MMM - Green tea and guava sorbet were also really good flavors that were tried * YES - You can get a split scoop for few cents more * YES - Cones or cups; scoops or smoothies or sundaes * YES - Friendly fast service; you can taste-test few flavors * WOA (words of advice): - Small clean shop right on the pier - Parking lot with pay machine available right on the pier ($2.00 per hour) - Accepts credit cards

This little shop on the Redondo pier serves up some delicious & smooth gelato. I got a medium sized cup with 2 scoops, hazelnut and expresso bean. Both flavors were vibrant and pleasurable with each and every bite. The bad stuff? My friend got a small cup with two scoops and had an equal amount of gelato as my medium with two scoops. So don't waste your money on a medium, get a small! Also, they only have a couple of tables inside and they were filthy. And what's up with only having one guy working on a Saturday night? The line was out the door and the wait unnecessarily lengthy. That tells me this place is poorly managed. But I'd still probably come here again because the gelato is really THAT good.

My lady and I came across this awesome gelato place last month after watching "This Is The End" with my sibling/apprentice Mikayla & her boyfriend L.J.. Bella Gelato is located at the Redondo Beach Pier, right next to the store that sells those trendy CALI FOR NIA shirts, tourist souveniers, etc. It's a nice, simple and small, cozy place where you can satisfy your taste buds by clensing it with some Italian gelato. The gelato itself here is very rich and creamy, just like the ones over in Italy! I love how the servers here are Italian, because it gives me a nice vibe, as if I'm really back in Italy during the duration of my stay inside of Bella Gelato. Basically, ANY of the gelato choices are worth buying, especially if you want a great alternative to Baskin Robbins, Dairy Queen & Yogurtland. If you bring a chick here while she's on her period, (we're all adults here, right? lol! Let's be REAL!) she will probably love you forever. All you need to do after or before your trip to Bella Gelato, is take her to Target, and in the words of my boy Patrick: "DONE!". Bella Gelato gets 5 stars from me because the gelato, the atmosphere and customer service is all phenomenal!!! It's another great addition to Redondo Beach!!! I Hope they stay in business.

I loved the gelato! I got a cup with Belgian chocolate and Nutella I couldn't finish it because it was so rich in flavor, plus I have a small appetite for sweets. It definitely brightened up my day. They also made the two scoops of gelato look like a flower. So cute!

From what I've seen, I'm guessing 99% of the items there are imported from Italy, not including produce- I think (to keep it fresh). I started coming here after a huge shift in my life and didn't just find amazing coffee, but a beautiful community. Also a great place to get gelato for the kids. I do not recommend staying "too" long because it's so good that it gets crowded often. On the other hand, sometimes having so many people there is kind of a beautiful thing on its own too. The cafe also sells coffee, gelato (six different flavors), salads, affogato, and croissants (plain, cream, nutella, and apricot). I had a cup of house brewed coffee and the drink wasn't quite on the same level as other third-wave coffee shops in the South Bay. They sell coffee beans from Danesi Caffe. *** Breakfast panini (Scrambled egg, fontina cheese, tomato a avocado - $10.95): A healthy-tasting sandwich, but it probably needed more sauce to add flavor. Bread was good. Rustico (RUSTICO: 24-month aged prosciutto di Parma smoked scamorza cheese, arugula, & white truffle extra virgin olive oil - $11.95): A solid sandwich, but it definitely lacked the "it" factor. *** A solid local cafe for anyone looking for a healthy Italian panini.

I especially love the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream, which is always delicious. One of the reasons I prefer this Redondo Beach location is their generous portions. They also allow you to choose two different flavors on a sugar cone, which some other locations (like Glendale) do not allow, they require the same flavor. That flexibility definitely makes a difference. Parking is plentiful, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is nice since you're enjoying your ice cream outdoors. Overall, it's a great spot, and I highly recommend it if you're in the area.
