And so we did I think it ended up being like maybe a two dollar difference than what the sign posted for one adult admission ticket. The website was a little wonky for buying the ticket online. We got through it, eventually. There is a gift shop at the entrance of the attraction that you can check out before starting the ride . It looks like part of it is catered towards children, which was very cute. There are many other restaurants and a couple gift shops within walking distance at the center while you're waiting for your show. It seemed like a well organized environment. They will ask you for the number in your party and will try to fit you into one of their rides. When you first walk in, they give you a little presentation of an animated show which is primarily in a standing room. There are a couple benches, but those who come in first will usually have access to that. It was not that interesting to me. I noticed that there were some Halloween decorations throughout, which looked very cute and festive. Unfortunately, it was dark inside and we were not really able to enjoy the decorations Afterwards, you will be seated on your flyover event. There was a moment when my stomach did drop a little bit due to the sensation of being up high. If you are afraid of heights, you will get through this and you will be OK. I did it! It's also pretty cool to feel water droplets on your face as you're soaring over bodies of water of Canada. The one thing that was lacking was there was no narration or story or audio narration of what we were seeing. That would've been helpful. I'm glad we got to experience this.

It's not any place you need to go out of your way to visit, but if you're in the area and your young kid just needs a break from all the "boring" adult stuff, this is a good place to take them so they can let off some steam. It's clean and the staff helps with you all the decorating. You're allowed to bring in outside food as well as buy food from the place. There isn't much selection for food here except for popcorn and pizza. Outside the party room, you and your kids can have access to the arcade and loonie/toonie rides. Quite a few machines were out of order, but we were able to find some to play. On the side, you can redeem your tickets for prizes. Downstairs, the kids can enter the climbing structures and ball pit.

It was all about the Westcoaster Luge during our visit to Whistler. The kids also enjoyed the mini…read morezipline and Amazen Maze, but the luge was by far their favorite. Kids can go on their own around age 8, so our youngest had to have an adult accompany him (yipee!). You can easily control your speed, so it was funny to see how fast or slow different people went. They did a good job of spacing out riders so you didn't bunch up. There is a timer to track your speed if you're competitive. I've been to adventure zones at several resorts in Lake Tahoe (Squaw Valley and Northstar) and this is far superior.

I have so many fond memories of riding this train. It's honestly so sad that the train was non-operational for over a year, only to return for a couple of months before being suspended again. I really hope it comes back, but after everything that has happened, I have my doubts about whether it will actually return. It would be such a shame to lose such a beloved part of Stanley Park, especially one that has brought so much joy to generations of families.

I had a really disappointing experience with a worker after our visit. I called with a simple…read morequestion, and the woman who answered (she had an Irish accent) was unexpectedly very mean and aggressive. I was caught off guard because I was polite and just looking for help. I understand people have bad days, but the interaction was upsetting enough that I ended up in tears after we hung up. That said, the actual bobsledding experience itself was amazing. It was such a fun, unique activity and something I'd definitely recommend trying. I just wish the customer service matched how great the experience on the track was.

I've done a few drop in events with my daughter and a class or two with my then 3 year old. Most recently we held my daughter's birthday party here where they made little dog style ceramic cups which turned out really cute. All the girls loved their art once it was ready. There wasn't enough time for them to paint the details unfortunately but the studio did that for them so they ended up with a finished cup that they can actually use! Was a great place for a small crafty kids party and the classes are nice too as the kids end up with canvas art and things they can use or display. I miss the splatter parties for the really little ones! They were so much fun.
