Located in the Village at Park Royal . I got here at 845. Immediately I was welcomed by a staff member and asked if I needed any help finding anything. I actually did, and took him up on his offer. He took me to the exact section I needed (flatback crystals ) and showed me the tools I was looking for. This saved me from wandering around looking ( which Is what happens to me at the other location where you can't ever find any staff to help ) There was no line up at the front. The cashier was also super friendly and helpful. He complimented me on the fragrance I was wearing, and told me he had the coupon I needed, to save me from having to look it up on my phone. He also adjusted the price for me on my one item that I thought was scanning higher then I recalled paying the last time. I was in and out in under 10 minutes and had 2 employees that both gave me awesome customer service that went over and above. I was very impressed and happy. Definitely one of the larger Michael's. I always go straight to the yarns department and the selection of yarn here is the biggest one I've seen in all the Michael's in town. It wasn't too busy, but then again it's a weekday morning. As always I used their infamous coupons and got a great deal. The yarn I bought today normally priced at $12 sells for $10 at Walmart. But with the coupon I ended up paying only $7.20. Friendly and helpful staff. Store is well stocked with just about everything crafty! Today was $10 grab bag clearance item they put out so you get a good deal at this location I counted more than 50 bags majority of them had three to four items inside not the same thing at other location bigger boxes and all full of stuff good deal they don't put plans items inside this of my thumb item theater only summer and spring stuff I could not believe my eyes four items not even pulled up to $1 but they want $10 for it also there was a bag with two pillow inside scanned it not even five bucks for both of them but the $1 for it looks like this manager is comparing to regular price tag not to clear the price tag there's another bag I saw only one item inside scanned it not even $3 the original price text said $80 but it went $10 for something it's already unclear for three never shopping at this location again big ripple read more

If I could choose 0 I would. I haven't been in this store for years due to their outrageous prices. I'd been looking for a specific item and this was my last chance. I braced myself as I really dislike this monolith. Their new little "anti theft" plastic thingys are too much, on top of having to find an almost absent staff to unlock it , then they want to carry it to the cashier. I took a very expensive print into Michael's for framing. It's been a month now and still isn't finished. This is completely unacceptable.

this location has a major staffing issue there's never anybody working ! tills are never open if you need help your waiting forever for an employee to help you and some items you absolutely need the employee to help you because they're locked up ! no one seems to know where anything or even interested in helping you even though that is their job bad attitude problems just really badly managed! Why even have a location open if you're not not going to staff it properly its a big waste. The few employees that are there are blank mindless robots at the last resort of a job counting the hours till they leave super bad vibes bad energy they're putting out !! just energy suckers no one is helpful and if ur in positive spirits don't go into the store it will definitely drain you so difficult dealing with employees like that! oh and the framing department is a joke kinda like the whole store this maybe harsh but its true. read more

I had two custom framing jobs completed at this Michaels location and have only good things to say regarding the quality of the work. Why only two stars... 1) it took over two months to get one of the custom framing jobs back which, given Micheals provides all their own frames to their locations, was internally driven and had nothing to do with external providers and 2) both times I had to revisit the store to pick up my order it would appear that their pricing structure is a lottery depending on what day you go in and price matching for their own product was not offered. I will not be going back for future custom framing work. read more

Never had a good customer experience in this particular store. They never open enough tills and are quite happy to make customers wait. Nobody available to assist with questions. One time I asked an assistant whether an item they had in a sealed box was on display so I could look in more detail, they told me 'no', then I asked whether I could take the item out of box, they told me 'so long as you put it back afterwards' ooh, I felt like a naughty child!. Now if I was running the store I would offer to do this for the customer in the hope of making a sale. The store has a scruffy appearance and stock levels are poor. Felt compelled to write this review after visiting Michaels in North Vancouver. There I had a much better experience, didn't seem like the same company. Well West Vancouver Michaels, how about asking North Vancouver Michaels for a bit of training on how to give good customer service, rather than treat customers as irritants! read more

Every time I am there, and I am there very often the customer service is bellow the expectation. They are not familiar with there products and when you use the coupons and sales you never know what price you are going to get.Every cashier has a different opinion and the receipt shows the discount in total at the end of the bill not after each item. |f you have to many items it's hard to figure out did they charge the right amount. Signing up for workshop took more then half an hour as I've been transferred million times to different person to find out that i have to come to the store in order to do that. read more
