I couldn't believe the favorable reviews after our visit. We waited 30 mins. and 2 requests for water, which btw was $3.00 bottled water and almost one hour before food arrived. We were not checked on while waiting yet waiter gave himself an 18% tip. Don't know how other customers fared; we were the only ones there inside. Food was not bad, nothing special. The eggs on the shashuka I had had broken and hardened egg yolks crusted the tomato base. Also had a gyro platter...meat was favorable but a bit dry. Think this restaurant could use focus. Their menu includes pizza, Italian dishes, burgers, sprinkled in the Mediterranean dishes and a variety of ice cream desserts and smoothies. Our experience began with the hospitable manager Sean, who exhuburantly explained the three different types of cuisine served at this lovely café. We began with a very fresh Fattoush salad and delicious Zatar garlic cheese bread. We enjoyed the mixed grill platter of flavorful, moist chicken and a well seasoned beef kebab. The scratch made hummus was the best we've ever tasted - 100 times better than store-bought! The grand finale was the creative play on crème brûlée and flan, which he flamboyantly lit on fire and presented with dramatic tableside pyrotechnics and musical accompaniment. We had just moved here and wanted a good pizza delivered. Based on the reviews and proximity, we chose this place. The first bad surprise was the requirement of a $30 minimum for delivery. But, we decided to order a few things for lunch the next day, as well, to satisfy the minimum. The cheese pizza we ordered, paying for extra cheese, was tasteless and wafer thin (it was not a thin-crust pizza), with no extra cheese evident. Definitely not "cheesy". The meatball sub with fries was likewise unmemorable and not very tasty; and the "Greek salad" was not very Greek, throwing in all sorts of vegetation and leaves, other than the Romaine that should be used, and a lot of onions, olives, and unpeeled cucumbers. We won't return to this place, and really can't fathom the good reviews, unless this place is trying ti discourage delivery. My family and I have been wanting to check this local joint out for awhile because it's in a location in frisco where there's not a lot options unless you drive 10-15 min. Easy parking with plenty of spaces. Clean interior and was seated right away. The young man who sat us and took or order was pleasant and helpful. We ordered spaghetti for the kids , chicken parm and spaghetti with meat sauce and why not throw a small pepperoni pizza in the mix. Came out quick and all at once. This new restaurant is a great find! The menu is packed with a wide variety of options for dinner. We ordered a large supreme pizza, and it did not disappoint. It was composed of the toppings our kids normally pick off, but the slices went down without hesitation, as all of them were fresh and plentiful. If the foundational cheese pizza isn't good, it doesn't matter what toppings you throw on it. The delivery arrived quickly and still hot but I was just really disappointed in both items I ordered. The pizza was bland and lacked any flavor, the crust was nothing special and the sauce didn't do much to salvage this pizza. The mozzarella sticks were soggy and also lacking in flavor. Much better! We visited this restaurant within the first week or so that they were open and we were unimpressed. Fast forward a few months and we decided to give them another try since they are so close and convenient to where we live. This time was much better!
