My most recent project included quotes for three projects, of which I followed through with one--remote controlled blind for two skylights. The process was seamless: I contacted Debbie, we agreed on a time that suited us both, she measured and made recommendations based on my needs. Shortly afterwards, I received a quote, once I gave the go ahead, we scheduled an installation date. The installer came at the exact time that he indicated he would arrive and let me know the steps and approximate time he would be at my house and gave me a tutorial on how to use the blinds. I always go back to Debbie because I can always expect this level of service. I never feel pressured to fulfill all the quotes that she provides. In fact, I have put several project on hold and returned to them years later, and Debbie has been equally accommodating! Further, working with Debbie is like working with a good friend, I always feel like she has my best interest in mind when picking out products and I never feel rushed to make a decision.

Hinsdale please don't get fooled by a "nice guy". Looks like I am not the only victim he has preyed upon from reading the new reviews. I have called and texted but believe my number has been blocked as I can use other phone numbers to leave messages. I hope we can work this through before upcoming litigation is started. $5500 is a lot of money to be ignored.

Southtown Interiors (Hinsdale, IL) vice president was very accommodating until he received my full…read morepre-payment for materials and installation of window treatments and vinyl wallcovering. After receiving the full payment amount, he requested two additional payments for portions of the same project for which he claimed he "forgot" to charge for in his original/undetailed quote. Again, payments were issued to them even though my post payments cost comparison with other similar vendors indicated Southtown Interiors substantially overcharged me. A month later, he delivered wallcovering material and attempted to install some but the quality of the install was so bad, we had him and his installer stop work. He blamed the wallcovering material as defective and has since indicated he filed a claim with the wallcovering manufacturer for material replacement. Since then, no further work has been completed by Southtown Interiors in spite of my repeated inquiries over the past couple of months that only result in new new excuses for endless delays in issuing appropriate refunds as requested, delivering/installing window treatments, etc. In summary, Southtown Interiors took my money and I received almost nothing in return aside from a multi-months long runaround so now I am intending to file a lawsuit against them to get my money back.

We first met him when he was an installer for another blinds company, and his professionalism and top-notch workmanship stood out from the start. Since then, he has installed blinds and shades in our past two homes and consistently delivered excellent results. I was initially referred to Can by my mother-in-law, who uses him for all her properties, including high-end condos and rental units in downtown. She even trusts him as her handyman. We recently moved into a new home that came with existing Hunter Douglas blinds. When we reached out to them for additional shades to match, the quote we received was astronomically high. That's when I knew I had to contact Can. I learned he had started his own company, Blink, and he was able to offer us nearly identical, high-quality battery-operated shades--at 80% less than the big-name brand! The shades took about a month to arrive, and he installed all eight in a single day. They look fantastic, function perfectly, and match our existing blinds beautifully--all at a fraction of the cost. We're thrilled with the outcome. We put another order for two manual shades in our master closet, $400 installed for both! That is cheaper than buying rods, curtains, and installing them. One note: He primarily speaks Cantonese and has limited English, but enough to get the job done and what you want. Communication is easy through text, and he's always responsive and clear. We're so happy with the work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Blink to anyone looking for high-quality, affordable blinds and excellent service! He is always my go to blind person and I have had several friends use him who were also super happy with their blinds and installation.

What a relief! Blink fixed a motorized fabric shade that had been dangling from my family room…read morewindow for months. (The company we purchased from went out of business and I could not find anyone willing to help). Blink responded to my Yelp request quickly and, after reviewing photos I sent, determined they could fix the shade (one of three). Blink was able to come within the week and really knew their stuff. Not only did the gentleman fix the shade, he was able to replace another shade's motor so the set of three shades once again operate together via remote control. It was a bit pricey but way less expensive than replacing all of my family room shades. Happy customer!
