We had a group of 12 and the place was not that busy during dinner, we asked the waitress if the chef can come out and see us so we could complement some of his dishes and she comes back saying we can stop by the kitchen on our way out! Really! We probably spent the most money that evening. Sounds like the owner chef needs some training in restaurant hospitality and the waitress lost an opportunity for a 20% tip. Cronins sits on a Main Street through Killarney and feels like old world Ireland from the road to the table. It has a storied past in Killarney, being open over 60 years at this point. We popped in for an early dinner and had an appetizer of the Smoked Irish Salmon, which was fresher than expected. Such a simple dish, but it was executed perfectly.
