The people working here (possibly the owners?) are so friendly and sweet and were willing to make accommodations for dietary restrictions. I got the champignone pizza with no ham and my partner got the vegetarian pizza. We also finished with a tiramisu. The food came out super quickly and we got to watch it be baked in the oven. The dough was so fresh and crispy and the toppings were fresh and delicious. I loved my pizza so much and was sad when it was gone. We also got some garlic oil and fresh Parmesan to drizzle on top which only elevated the pizzas more. The tiramisu was heavenly and was exactly what I am craving when I'm craving tiramisu. The restaurant is small but cozy, off the Main Street a little so it's not too loud with the door open. There are five tables inside and a bar area along the wall so plenty of seating to choose from. Many people stopped in to order takeaway or called for delivery while we were here so it's clear they're popular. I loved eating here and would definitely come back. If you want some local pizza, go here!

I ordered an "American Pizza," which is a pepperoni pizza. I liked that one could add additional toppings and I added black olives and red peppers to it. It was the perfect size for one. My wife ordered the manicotti with a side salad. Very nice atmosphere and friendly service.

Cronins sits on a Main Street through Killarney and feels like old world Ireland from the road to the table. It has a storied past in Killarney, being open over 60 years at this point. The space is as you would expect, cozy, local and welcoming. The menu is rooted in local ingredients including seafood, beef and veggies. We popped in for an early dinner and had an appetizer of the Smoked Irish Salmon, which was fresher than expected. Such a simple dish, but it was executed perfectly. For our mains, we had a burger and the Shepard's Pie. Burger was good. It was juicy, well cooked and the onion relish thing they had going on was *chefs kiss*. The Shepard's Pie was spot on. Both were made with local beef, which was cool and extra tasty! Beyond the food, Cronins also has their own cider, which was phenomenal and oddly enough, the only cider I had the whole time I was in Ireland! That speaks more to the hold Guinness had on me and less to the variety of cider. After the cider, we went with a few house cocktails including the Clover Club and Dingle Donkey. Both were well prepared, vibrant and tasty! Service was uniquely local, friendly and fun! From the bartender to our server, they were both excellent! Overall, Cronins is a stellar spot in a great spot in Killarney! When we get back over the pond and to Killarney, Cronins is on the list to swing by again!

The place was packed which was a good sign and we quickly ordered our meals as we were starving. The Beef Stew came with three different servings of potatoes and from what I recall it was decent. What made this meal really exceptional was the dessert. Warm banana pie with delicious cold ice cream. Over the span of our 15-day trip in Ireland this was either my favorite dessert or tied as my favorite dessert for the trip. Also, this restaurant is in a very nice shopping area that you can easily walk and shop for hours in after your meal. As always people SYOY!!!

It was great, the lamb fell off the bone and it was really well cooked and juicy meat. Served on a bed of creamy mash and fresh veg. The veg was slightly under cooked sadly but the rest of the dish, fantastic! I tried some of Alex's ham hock and that too was great. Really flavoursome and soft meat - if, however, your not a big fan of Dijon mustard I wouldn't recommend as it's literally covered in it! All of the above including a pint came to around £60 which for the size of the portions and the overall quality we were happy with!

Sitting next to me was what looked like three dried tomatoes in a line with some kind of greens across the bottom. The food was delicious and filling. I got the Caesar salad and a salmon pasta with some kind of lemon sauce and my favourite tiramisu. When I am back in Tralee next month I will likely pay another visit.
