I received a $25.00 off anything coupon. So, I headed to Belk's on Monday evening. They were not too busy and I was happy about that. I needed help several times and I could not find any help. A man finally helped me with what I was looking for. It looks like the fitting rooms were not open, so I passed on the buying of any clothes. I did find several other items to buy for Christmas gifts. Everything in the store was 70% off and lower. The stuff I purchased should of tallied up to about $170.00. With the coupon, and the sales-I only had to pay $29.00 total! I expecting to pay so much more $$$! I was a happy camper Monday night. I hope they send me more coupons. For months this store has had major AC issues. Can only stand to stay in the store for under an hour otherwise I'm sweating and turning angry. Pretty sad when the staff has to wear battery operated fans around their necks to stay cool. Love the store but I cannot stand to shop here because of how uncomfortable and hot it is inside. I just left the store, walked outside where it's 79 degrees - it's cooler outside than inside right now. Management needs to get it together. I have been a loyal Belk customer for years. Back in 2007 they changed my Belk store card to a Belk credit card, no problem. Recently I tried to set up my bank account to pay my bill online. Something wasn't right and the bank rejected the payment. Belk tried again to no avail. I called customer support for assistance. They took my payment which resolved the issue. The next month no issue. Well yesterday I get a letter that they have cancelled my account. You would think they would reach out to a loyal customer to resolve the issue they seemed to have but no just cancel the account. Then when I called customer support I get the response that once the account they cannot reopen it. Well Belk you have lost a dedicated customer. Go back and look at my account and see the thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars I have spent at your stores. I will never step foot into a Belk store again. Your loss read more

MAJOR life safety issue. The dressing room attendant is locking people IN the dressing rooms. The shopper has to yell out to be let out. This is a HUGE ISSUE! Do NOT go to this store with the intention of using the dressing rooms. If that place catches on fire or if there is an active shooter, tornado or any other type emergency, the public is at risk. The fire department and high upper level management should be notified. This against the law! read more

One Word- Sales! Well, maybe two words- because I shop the clearance hard here too. I feel like my mantra is don't pay full price! Seriously, you can find some great bargains here if you are willing to look. This location is better at keeping their departments clean and organized. I usually have to fight through misplaced clothes on racks that belong in other sections- but not here! I am a sucker for dresses and bought several dresses and a couple tops! Belk you were a true disappointment. I understand the world we are in when it comes to stores being short staffed. That's why it's even more important for items to ring up correctly. There was a huge line mainly because they are having to go see if the item they are ringing up is truly at the sale price the customer said. Guess what?! Once we finally get to the check out the one item we had that was listed at a door buster price rang up wrong. The cashier was going yo have to go all the way to the back of the store to verify the price. We said never mind and left. Either have the list of sales printed out for them or better yet have your computers ring up the correct price. read more

She checked me out for my purchase, held a funny and professional conversation and even walked around the register to hand me my items. I went to this store yesterday on Dec 4,2020, and I was going to purchase one item, but the check out lines were long and moving slow. I found a someone checking out another customer, so stood my 6 feet to wait to after that customer was finished, but after she walked us over to another register she finished with that customer and then told me that another sales person that was helping someone else would check me out. Ok so this why we all love Amazon, but needless to say I went across the street to Kohl's and found the same item I was going to purchase here but, experienced better customer service, quality and selection for a cheaper price with Kohl's family and friends coupon. So next time I will just save myself some time and just go to Kohl's. read more

I purchased items at a pre-sale. I was told that I could pick them up from any sales assistant after that weekend. When I went back to pick them up, I went to the first open register. The sales assistant was really nice . She just asked if I purchased the items in men's or women's. She went to the women's hold area to get my items for me. When she left the sales associate that was at that counter at the time told me "when you purchase those items you were told to come back to the same register to pick those items up. You should've come back to this register." Her tone was very Condescending. She also had 4 other people in line and I wasn't even asking her anything. I was just waiting on my sales assistant. I talked to the manager about the situation and she just stood there and said I'm sorry about that. I asked her what was the person going to be reprimanded and she said well we definitely don't want our customers treated that way. She will be talk to. So sad. read more

I am beyond pissed right now. I went in got a few things for a vacation. I applied for the credit card, and got it. I bought a few things, did not take long, but was over 200. I figure splurge on myself. I get the bill, I pay it all off in one setting. Figure it helps build my credit up. Well now, I just get a bill for 29. I had not shopped there since the first time. They are claiming the bill was late, which it was not. So even though I had a ZERO balance, I get a bill for 29 bucks, for a late fee. I tried calling, got nowhere with them. I paid the 29 bucks just cause I don't want my credit ruined by them. I will never shop in there again. I don't have enough money to just hand them over money, when I had not spent it, and first bill was paid on time. read more

Excellent service, Domonique took ownership of the situation and ended the cycle of calls. Wow! Not only did she wow me she put a huge smile on my face. It was that simple, taking ownership was that simple. It could have been resolved on the 20th it took four (4) days to reach the right person and I want to let management know that Domonique was the right person, not only did she take ownership she had options and used her empowerment to assist a customer turning a detractor into a committed Belk customer.
