Scheduled my appointment for later in the day with Lorrin, she really payed attention to the spots on my back that needed help. I have never had a massage where I felt COMPLETELY comfortable and relaxed. Im usually weirded out by getting massaged because youre somewhat naked and vulnerable around another person. Maybe a weird though but, I dont trust people usually. Which is why I felt great that I was able to just feel at ease, maybe be another factor on top of the massage that really helped me out. She really was able to get so many knots out of my back, even on sides I did not know I had knots in yet! Another first, was scheduling a follow up right after the appointment, once the appointment was over I already knew I was coming back. Thanks again Lorrin! And see ya soon!

Total $92 My son's haircut was fine, but I simply cannot justify paying that amount for a 45-minute haircut. The price was completely disproportionate to the service we received. Unfortunately, I left feeling very disappointed with the overall experience and would not return. I feel the cost was excessive for the amount of time and service provided.

I'm going to give this place a 4/5 for several reasons. The atmosphere was nice. The furniture was…read morewell taken care of and the people were nice. I got a pedicure and my husband got a man's manicure. I chose the $65 pedicure bc I wanted the extra massage time...which is normally where the extra money goes. That was not the case. I didn't get to choose the scent either, which was also a perk for the more expensive option. The guy that I had, had good moments but it lacked the massage time. That's my favorite part. Overall I have had better pedicures in the past. My husband did like the attention to his nails. His only complaint was the fact that she filed his nails square instead of round. That would be something that should have been asked, especially since he is a man. Overall, I will keep looking in Boone for the right place!!! I know it is out there.

We got hot shoulder compresses and the full work up on our pedicures. The staff were super sweet! The only thing that I was disappointed about was that I called ahead and made appointments for us, but still ended up waiting over 30 minutes for our service to start because they took a couple walk ins a few minute before we got there. Other than that, I'd be willing to give them another try the next time I'm in town.

Barely anyone was in the salon, yet my friend and I were there for 3+ plus hours for two basic acrylic sets because they were short staffed and didn't manage time to their advantage. Despite this, we stayed because their techs could do advanced designs and were extremely impressive! In the end, colors were messed up, along with designs and application - nails were popping off and growing out after just two weeks. The prices were also extremely overpriced for the quality and services provided. Overall, I do not recommend this place, and would caution anyone who tries it out.

On June 11th, I made an appointment for myself and two friends Brie and Tim to be treated at 12:00…read moreat the spa in Chetola at noon on June 18th. I did have specific request for a therapist as I have been here many times prior and enjoyed being treated by Tracy. When I made my appointment, I had them look at my prior history to verify that she was still available and that I would be treated by her. Brie didn't have a specific request as far as a male or female therapist. Tim had requested a female therapist. On June 18th at precisely noon, Brie was taken directly to her appointment. My other friend and I waited another 15 minutes before somebody came out to take Tim back. It was Tracy...the therapist that I had requested. This left me with the male therapist, which I refuse to use after a very bad experience at a different spa. At this point, Brie was 15 minutes into her appointment, so there was not a way to change therapists, and the best way that I could see to resolve the situation was to give up my therapy session so that my friends could still enjoy their day. A manager came out, apologized to me and and explained that the system had changed so that there was no way to specifically request a certain therapist anymore. This confused me, as I literally just made my appointment a week ago and had there been a change to the system. I would've expected a phone call, explaining that our requests could no longer be met. I also explained that had we all been taken in on time, this issue could've been resolved, by arranging everyone as was originally agreed on with my first phone call when making the appointment. However, because two of our therapists were running 15 minutes behind this was not possible. It took a further 20 minutes for Tim to start his massage. I was told "Thank you for understanding" with no compensation offered. The therapist that I had specifically requested was completely booked for the day, and the point of this particular booking was for us to go in as a group so that we can enjoy our day. In short, I am very disappointed Chetola's lack of communication, service, and lack of compensation for my disappointing day.
