This is a small owned coffee shop that serves the best coffee and empanadas. The service is amazing the cashier was inviting, funny , knowledgeable and helpful which leads me to believe he's also the owner!I was recommended the horchata latte and hands down the best coffee I had all weekend in Chicago. This coffee has made from scratch Horchata with real rice and cinnamon plus two shots of espresso seriously delicious! For food I got A breakfast classic of Chorizo, egg and Mozzarella cheese. That was also yummy please stop in if you are in the area it's one of those hidden gems for sure.

So many fun empanadas! The owner is super friendly and will explain everything in great detail to you if you need it. The empanadas themselves are crispy on the outside with super flavorful filling. I found the drinks on the sweet side for my taste, but it does feel authentic. We got the cafe de olla. I wish there was a little table or something outside to eat though because unless you're taking it home there's no park or other space to eat.

Very charming corner coffee shop. Owner made my favorite coffee cafe au latte even though it wasn't on the menu My daughters honey latte was great also Both beverages were great Owner let us try the delicious rice milk that I can't spell lol I even bought a pair of pretty earrings . I look forward to trying again and maybe their new place when it opens in Loven square

Wow! Okay, I had no idea what to expect when we came here, but we were in the area and my partner needed some coffee. He saw that this place was highly reviewed and brought us here. I ordered the lavender milk tea which has lavender foam atop unsweetened, iced black tea. The foam is delicious! And as long as you drink it from the lid, not a straw, you get a good mix of foam to tea all the way till the end. This is soooooo tasty! One of the best I've ever had. It's not a traditional milk tea though; so, don't go in expecting that. It's foam over iced black tea. The foam is what adds the milk as you drink it. It isn't heavy. It's just perfect. If I lived closer to this place, I would get this all the time. My partner got the mocha frappe. This isn't super sweet; you can definitely taste the coffee as well as the chocolate. It has a great ratio of each. He highly recommends this. Overall, we are stoked we came here and definitely suggest you stop by and try one of their drinks.

I stopped in for a cold brew with pumpkin cold foam and it was to die for--smooth, perfectly chilled, and topped with just the right amount of sweet autumn spice. I also ordered four huge empanadas: * Chorizo & Egg - hearty and perfectly seasoned for a savory breakfast bite. * Carne Asada - hands down the best empanada I have ever had in my life: tender, flavorful beef with a perfectly crisp crust. * Chicken Mole - rich, complex, and absolutely out of this world. * Ham, Egg & Cheese - a classic combo done perfectly: warm, melty cheese with smoky ham and fluffy egg all wrapped in their signature golden, flaky crust. Each empanada was flaky, generously filled, and bursting with flavor. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. And if you can't make it in person, great news: they're on all the major delivery apps, so you can get those unforgettable empanadas delivered right to your door. If you're anywhere near Avondale, Believe Café is a must-visit. Go for the pumpkin cold foam cold brew and stay for those empanadas--you'll be dreaming about the carne asada long after you leave.

I have always wanted a coffee shop in a short distance away. I finally got one and to top it off, they have empanadas. They aren't your typical empanadas. These are made with biscuit dough. They feel like a homemade meal wrapped up in a hand pie. I highly recommend cafe de olla (hot or cold,) their real horchata latte (hot or cold), and the nutella banana frappe is so good you forget it has espresso in it.

    Horchata latte

Went to check out a new coffee shop in the area and I'd have to say! Hands down the best horchata coffee ever!!! Wasn't too sweet and wasnt bland on any means! Haven't had this in a very long time and on top that they had delicious empanada's specifically the tinga! Usually I don't like spice but this had the right amount! Totally coming back! Very welcoming family! Would love to see them expand with a table area for more customers but otherwise the reviews I read was accurate 10/10 recommend!

The drinks were delicious, and the empanada was amazing--so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. I'll definitely be back!

There are a few…read morethings that I look out for when visiting a new shop (grinders, espresso machine, house-made syrups, ease of ordering/POP layout, seating...etc.). My fiancé and I stopped in as soon as they opened to grab some fuel for our roadtrip out of town. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door, bright and early at 6:30am. The baristas were super friendly. The atmosphere is nice and bright. Light wood tones and soft colors. Cute merch, too. The baked goods counter looked divine and wanted to purchase everything, but I stuck with a slice of banana bread. SOOOO GOOD. It was fresh, moist, and had the right balance of flavor between the banana and chocolate chips. Sometimes it gets too chocolatey, but the banana flavor was first and foremost. We ordered a drip coffee and a large iced vanilla latte with an extra shot. The drip coffee was fresh and hot with a nice flavor profile. The espresso used in the latte was fresh, bright, and slightly nutty. They have a La Marzocco, and you can usually expect pretty good espresso from those machines. I believe the vanilla was house-made, so bonus points for that. All things that I personally love in a latte! There was also a parking lot, so we didn't have to worry about street parking. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town! 10/10 recommend.

The vibe in here is quaint and bright, with different seating options. Would be a good spot to work from! Due to its convenient location and parking lot, I will definitely visit again!

It was melting all over my hand with how much chocolate it offered. The cold brew was great as well, it was a great boost after an outdoor session. I did pull out my laptop to work on stuff, I do suggest either your own internet or if you have xfinity, use the hotspot. Their WiFi is ok for work and such, but due to the business it does slow down a bit, which is an average experience. Overall, 5/5! Great location, great team, great food. Will be back!

Unfortunately, the food quality has gotten worse with every visit. I usually order the lox bagel, but it is definitely not worth $15. It was served as two slices of toast with cubed avocado and a sauce on top that ruined the taste. It seems like the cooks are not putting much effort into preparing the food. On top of that, every time I have eaten there, the tables have been very sticky. I would rather spend my money at places that provide better food and a better dining experience.
