I ordered Blackberry Crapes with a Capuchino, the crapes where surprisingly not sweet, good! My coffee had no sugar so I added my sugar. Overall my mom had there Chikaquiles now those where amazingly good, we also tried there Cajeta and Banana pancakes where good too. The inside is super

Food came out fast and was very good quality. Service was excellent and despite not speaking Spanish we were accommodated very well.

If you are in Plaza La Roca or in Cumbres area in Cancun, this is a good option for breakfast. They have several sweet or savory waffles as well as pancakes and other traditional Mexican dishes as chilaquiles. I got a traditional Belgium waffle (just ok) and green chilaquiles (). Service is some slow but friendly.

The energy, music, dancing, and performances really brought the whole night to life and created such a fun atmosphere. The food was served buffet style and there was truly something for everyone. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and delicious, with a great variety of options for both adults and kids. This ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. A perfect mix of great food, culture, entertainment, and family fun all in one evening! Highly recommend experiencing it while staying at the hotel

This is the main restaurant at Westin Lagunamar Vacation Club. Since it is not an all inclusive…read moreresort, guests have options to eat at other nearby restaurants. However, we found that for the price this restaurant does a very good job with the service, food, and entertainment. Prices are consistent with other hotel restaurants, especially for the buffet. However, considering the food quality and service it is within reason. The best value are some of dinner theme nights. We have gone to Mayan Night this year. Last year we went to the Seafood on the Beach night. However, I found that for Taco night the prices were too high. Since you can go an across the street at La Isla for more than half the price. Not only is the food fresh and tasty, the service is excellent. When I asked our main waiter what is Mayan food, he took me to the buffet and explained which foods are traditionally Mayan and how they were historically prepared. There were other foods that were more Mexican than Mayan and though delicious wasn't what I was looking to experience that night. As I wandered around the buffet area trying to determine what I was going to eat, more than 1 server asked if they could help me. I just couldn't decide since there were a lot of food options. For families with big appetites, the buffet nights are a deal. It's also an experience with the entertainment. I enjoyed both Mayan night and Seafood night because of them. The entertainment is consistent with those you find at other high end establishments that we have paid more than double the prices. Last year the fire show on the beach was fantastic. This year the Mayan performers were equally entertaining. We were seated very close to the entertainers which was a big plus. What Oceano is lacking is modern decor to compete with the new swanky restaurants that have been opening up in the hotel zone area. The vibe of the restaurant is hotel breakfast cafe, and not high end restaurant. Very small bar. However, with just a few updates and extending the patio to more an indoor outdoor dining with newer chairs, they maybe able to attract more customers.

Clean, modern, darker, but with beautiful ocean views. They have outside seating as well. They got a salad bar for you to load up on cheese, bread, fruits, etc while you wait for your dishes to arrive. Service is fast and professional like any restaurant on this property. The highlights has to be their steaks/meat. We literally enjoyed every dish we ordered as a party. You couldn't miss but the flank steak was probably the table's favorite. The short ribs also fell right off the bone. We came back here several times and were glad we did. Note: there are rules when it comes to your attire depending on lunch or dinner. Breakfast: Options are limited for breakfast at the resort the only options are Tradewinds or El Mercado (the buffet). - Avocado Toast - has this mango sauce/dressing on it. wasn't a fan of that. would've been better without the sauce. - Tradewinds Chilaquiles - this one was ok. - French Toast - Shakshuka Eggs - soupy. it says it's suppose to have eggplant, onions, and peppers. I don't remember that being in there. It was mainly eggs and tomatoes - Omelette Dinner: Better than breakfast - Bread - Yummy. Fluffy and soft. - Lobster Cream Soup - bland. I didn't like it. - Sea Bass - This was my favorite sea bass at the resort. Tasted yummy with the peas and white seafood sauce. This dish is probably carrying the rating on this restaurant for me - Got one of the steaks, it was thinner cut which we felt like may have made it easier for them to over cook.
