This restaurant was legit so cute! It's located in a popular mall in Cancun. You can sit outside or inside the restaurant! The food was amazing; and i also had raspberry tea(served cold) it was delicious. One of my favorite breakfast places I ate at hands down.

I was visiting in cancun and was looking for a good breakfast this place was very good. Go early because it gets very busy it opens at 8...

Located in Plaza Las Americas, this place has cute decor with indoor seating and outdoor seating, but it's covered. The staff is OK and the service is average. I ordered the hot cakes campesinos, which is 3 pancakes, bacon, 2 over medium eggs. The bacon was crispy, and the eggs were cooked perfectly as well. The pancakes were thick, a little dry, and a bit dense...not the best but just okay. This place is promising so it's worth a visit.

This place was decent. I think the ratings are slightly over-hyped. This is probably the equivalent to an IHOP. Service was slow and pretty unfriendly. The mochas (hot and a frappe) were both the perfect balance of sweet and bitter. My husband and I both ordered the eggs benedict with smoked salmon. All four eggs were not poached well. The yolks of all four were solid (like a hard-boiled egg). The extra hollandaise made up for it, but this definitely wasn't a very good eggs benedict. The waffle underneath was soggy, and unappealing. ...However, the home fries were on point. Flavor, cook, everything was delicious. Go in expecting IHOP and you probably won't be disappointed. Don't go in expecting a Belgian waffle cafe.

Gluten free waffle and fresh OJ! The OJ was too sweet for me! The waffle was great!

The service and food were great! My gluten free waffle had a nice flavor and texture. It didn't crumble. The bacon, however could have been better! It was tiny and slightly below standard. The OJ was very fresh but too sweet for me. The service was fantastic!

Great place. Went here for a late night dessert. The perle french toast was great, the nutella waffle was great, and the chocolate fondue was amazing. The ambience was perfect too

Ah centro cancun a place I will revisit again and again waffle boutique is a local spot in the Las Americas mall, they make some killer breakfast, I thought I wrote a review a while back on this place but it's never to late, we read the reviews on yelp as we always like to explore breakfast places this was one for the books, small restaurant with a nice decor, coffee was excellent, breakfast was amazing and not expensive at all, the only thing that stuck was their crispy crispy fries they were excellent. The omelette with manchego cheese something the states need to make or I need to find a place that uses that cheese in their breakfast omelette it was spectacular, the waffle we got was with banana and strawberry and they sure know how to make them large squares and deep pockets just how I like them!! Service was fast only came one but it was a place we both enjoyed

Wish we found this place earlier in our trip. They have amazing breakfast and brunch. We tried the stuffed French toast, caramel pancakes, Oreo frappe and caramel latte. All were excellent and tasted better than we had expected. The place is also decorated very nice and looks bougee inside. It's inside the plaza America. Will probably come again before heading back to the States

On top : bananago, right: guava, strawberry lemonade, and berrylious

For foreigners who doesn't know Spanish, I would say this place isn't so special. Service is what you expect, non existence and when you pay the bill, the server would ask how much for the service. Overall, food wasn't that good. Pancakes and waffles are more on the dense side but it lays a weird taste afterwords. The fruits I got some looks rotten so I didn't eat it but it was decent. I woke up craving fruits and one of my friends was really craving waffles. So we tried out this place. Sandwiches did not taste that great. The sandwiches were lacking something maybe sauce. But the fries were the only thing I would say is good. Fruits too but it was kind of misleading. There was very little pineapple and no banana. Mainly cantaloupe and papaya.

Quick and excellent service. The lattes are wonderful and the breakfast is great for a casual bite. Loved the inside of the place as well.

They also offer a nice selection of prepared desserts and a soft serve ice cream bar with your choice of toppings. The service is always on spot and so is the quality of the food. It was more of just 'what can I dislike the most.' Everything was just average at best and the size of the buffet was just much smaller than I expected. Also, I was really excited to try their peanut butter & jelly 'flavor of the month' ice cream, but when I got it, we all agreed that it tasted most almondy than PB&J. (as 2 days later was a new month, I saw that that month they had changed the flavor of the month to almond honey so clearly I unknowingly just got an early preview of the next month's flavor). I've heard that on other times this place is an actual restaurant. I wish we had tried it in that format so we could try most made to order items as I would hope they'd be better. While the food was disappointing, the wait staff was absolutely fantastic. They were so helpful and just so joyous. They were constantly joking around with us, helped turn some of our coffees in to a fantastic alcoholic drink, and just being so pleasant to our kids. They were really the stars of the meal. If we were to find ourselves here again, we'd absolutely avoid it if it was their buffet but would also absolutely try it if it was the actual restaurant format. The setting is nice, the interiors are inviting and warm, and I just want to trust these other reviews of people have positively given.

La Veranda - This is supposed to be peanut butter & jelly ice cream. It tastes more like honey & almond. Tasty, but not what I was expecting/wanting

This has to be one of the biggest bargains in the hotel zone. Service was superb! I would say the majority of those attending the brunch were not guests in the hotel. There was literally something for everyone. You could have omelets, pancakes, waffles or crepes. They had carved prime rib. They had a taco and quesadilla station. There was an area for vegetarians. There was a pastries area. There was a dessert table. And bottomless Chandon mimosas were included! Roll me out of there! I very much enjoyed the prime rib, which they were happy to cook a little more, if you didn't want raw. It was excellent! I saved room for the flan at the end! It's my favorite dessert in Mexico. In the next month, if I am again in Mexico on a Sunday, I will definitely return here for Sunday brunch!

However, we found that for the price this restaurant does a very good job with the service, food, and entertainment. Prices are consistent with other hotel restaurants, especially for the buffet. However, considering the food quality and service it is within reason. The best value are some of dinner theme nights. We have gone to Mayan Night this year. Last year we went to the Seafood on the Beach night. However, I found that for Taco night the prices were too high. Since you can go an across the street at La Isla for more than half the price. Not only is the food fresh and tasty, the service is excellent. When I asked our main waiter what is Mayan food, he took me to the buffet and explained which foods are traditionally Mayan and how they were historically prepared. There were other foods that were more Mexican than Mayan and though delicious wasn't what I was looking to experience that night. As I wandered around the buffet area trying to determine what I was going to eat, more than 1 server asked if they could help me. I just couldn't decide since there were a lot of food options. For families with big appetites, the buffet nights are a deal. It's also an experience with the entertainment. I enjoyed both Mayan night and Seafood night because of them. The entertainment is consistent with those you find at other high end establishments that we have paid more than double the prices. Last year the fire show on the beach was fantastic. This year the Mayan performers were equally entertaining. We were seated very close to the entertainers which was a big plus. What Oceano is lacking is modern decor to compete with the new swanky restaurants that have been opening up in the hotel zone area. The vibe of the restaurant is hotel breakfast cafe, and not high end restaurant. Very small bar. However, with just a few updates and extending the patio to more an indoor outdoor dining with newer chairs, they maybe able to attract more customers.

All-in-all it was worth the inconvenience. Very eclectic menu, warm atmosphere and outstanding service. I started withe the Mango-Tamarind: Lettuce, Indian walnut, mango, blueberries, Cotija cheese, mango-habanero dressing and tamarind billet. Unique and tasty. "Swiss Chicken Enchiladas" for the main course was not what you get at a local Mexican joint -- Four tortillas stuffed with chicken, bathed in a creamy tomatillo sauce with melted cheese and a base of refried black beans. This was a 5-star dish! I couldn't resist ordering a side dish though I didn't need to because the enchiladas were really enough, so I indulged myself with fries: these were not your run of the mill French fries. Porfirio's Potatoes -- French fries with chipotle pepper aioli, parmesan cheese and parsley. This dish is heaven sent with a 9.8/10 Grilled Octopus - Grilled perfectly, I can tell by the texture. The mash is superb, they used margarine instead of butter and I absolutely love the contrast from the traditional mash. 9.8/10 Mexican Rice - Its pretty good. It does have a nice seafoodish finish. The pepper was actually spicy. Nice and pleasant rice dish. 8/10 Charred Avocado Salad - Grilled avocado is a bit of a wash. It did make it look good on the plate. The dressing is a little weak. Needs a little more zip, some citrus or vinegar would give this salad some justice. Its a little uninspired 7/10 Service is impeccable and attentive and the atmosphere is lovely.
