I have had the opportunity to speak with the company about some mortar issues as the bricks and mortar are connected with my siding and a bit messy. One of the bricks is higher then the others and is not leveled. The company sent out some others to see thw issue. However, the individuals chipped and cracked a brick, cracked up mortar creating a hole and cracks, thus noone has returned as promised. I will reach back out to the company as well. Their contracts are legally deficient, as they omit both the salesperson's license number and the project commencement date. Furthermore, the District of Columbia Licensing Board (DCLP) was unable to locate a license for our specific salesperson or any other individual at the firm. It seems they don't have a licensed DC salesperson. Following a ten-month delay, the company proposed a change order that would double the initial project cost. This increase is a direct result of the original salesperson's lack of expertise and professional neglect. Additionally, the company proposed a solution that is illegal under DC regulations, and their internal communication remains highly disorganized. Under District of Columbia law, performing home improvement sales without a proper license or executing contracts without commencement dates and salesperson license numbers may entitle clients to a full refund of the contract price, regardless of work completion. I recommend that any parties engaged with this company review their legal standing regarding these practices. Please be cautious if you decide to challenge this company. Their management called and threatened us claiming that we will run out of money before they do.

We had an energy audit completed with Zero Draft. They did a thorough inspection of our home to…read moreidentify energy savings and recommendations to improve heating/cooling efficiency. During the inspection they also provided water flow management devices for our showers, replaced bulbs with LED, and installed a smart surge protector in our media room. The report they provided gave us recommendations for insulation, tuneup, and other installations to help improve our HVAC efficiency. The quote included prices and rebates available. We easily selected the options we wanted and scheduled the work. It was a fraction of the cost if we had engaged contractors without going through the energy audit. They managed the rebate process and we only had to pay the remaining balance. We had blown-in and spray foam insulation done in our attic. Once this was complete, Zero Draft retested and showed that the install increased our efficiency by over 20%. I can actually feel and see the difference. It's noticeably warmer inside. Our roof used to have frost on half and not on the other half because so much heat was rising up. After they installed our insulation the entire roof stays frosty and more f the heat stays in our living spaces. They even got into spaces I never thought were accessible!
