We don't have many all you can eat buffet options in Ventura County. This is one place in Ventura where my parents & I actually like going to for some basic ayce Chinese & Japanese food. The price isn't that bad either & comes with regular drinks. They offer seafood, sushi & have Mongolian grill type food. Chill place here. You pay when you walk in. Seat yourself, then grub till your pants are so tight that you can't breathe, jk lol... Just don't expect any table side service here. But, they sure are good about clearing your dirty dishes. Just grab a clean plate each time you go & get food.

I am mainly commenting on Beijing's togo option. Which is great if you have someone in your group who is a very picky or selective eater. I was able to get 2 boxes, and filled them with primarily their sushi maki rolls. I also picked up small amount of other items like green beans. Lunch is 6.99/ lb; dinner 8.99/lb. Sushi ended up being less than what you may get at decent grocery and tastes much fresher. This is my hack for this buffet! I wouldn't waste your weight with soups, etc. Beijing overall is on the smaller side for Chinese ayce buffets, but I think that makes it more manageable and easier to upkeep. I would like to return for full buffet dining, especially to try Mongolian grill station. The decor is modern and seems to be clean. The service I think is very functional but not friendly/ warm but that is expected at Chinese buffets. There are so few buffets left in our area, so def. recommendation!

One of the most delicious buffets in the 805 area! Absolutely delicious dishes & diverse selection. Highly recommend their custom cooked-in-front-of-you dish!

You know a lot of things come to mind when it comes to buffets. This definitely isn't a Las Vegas upscale buffet. What it does offer is a very clean and maintained establishment, something that stands out to me from prior experiences from other buffets in the local area. You can see for yourself when you help yourself to the variety of foods. I really enjoy the Mongolian bbq station, it is simple and tasty. My favorite item available is the oysters. I know what some of you are thinking, but honestly these were fresh. This was my second time eating here and they are fresh and good to eat. I definitely recommend trying this place. It's the best buffet in the county in my opinion.

A bone I took out from my salmon sashimi

So I decided to give it another try.. this is my second time coming here, the food is dry and old. I've had better buffets before. The salmon sashimi is definitely not fresh, had a weird vinegar taste to it and also had a bone in where I took a bite. (Photo provided). Everything is self severed so nothing on the service. I probably would never come back here again after this experience.

I went here for the first time a couple days ago and I was pleasantly surprised. I thought they had a good selection especially for someone who doesn't eat seafood. The food tasted fresh and good quality. The rice was buttery and well seasoned. The service was fine no complaints. The dessert selection was very small. The price was reasonable

Food was great for buffet. Lots of options for kids too. Service was great, clean and family environment.

I have seen a lot of mixed reviews of this buffet place. You will either like it or you won't but no in between. Speaking from my experience I enjoyed the buffet with my family. On the weekends they do charge dinner rates even for lunch. They do not have lots of options compared to other buffets but they do have enough options to satisfy. I do like that their prices come with drinks included and I also like the way they formatted the restaurant. It seems simple but classic and fits the restaurant. The food was good and have options from fried food to rolls to soups. They could expand their dessert section and add some toppings for the ice cream but that would be my only improvement. It does get busy especially on the weekends so keep that in mind as well.

This was our third visit since it opened and it is still a good Chinese buffet, especially for its price and location. We arrived around 6:30 pm on a Saturday evening to a full parking lot, but there were plenty of tables inside and we were seated quickly. The Mongolian BBQ moved very quickly and the chef was able to cook 4-5 separate plates at a time. The sushi and sashimi were cold and fresh. The crab was average at best, since the shells were tough to crack. The corn in the crawfish boil was sweet and on point. The hot and sour soup was surprisingly delicious, so good I had a second bowl. The desserts were okay, at least their ice cream machine was running. The restaurant seemed clean for a busy night and all plates and utensils were clean, too. I saw staff wiping the areas around the food very frequently. You really can't go wrong with $25.99 for all you can eat surf and turf. Tip: try to get your steaks cooked with some pink by asking the chef and tipping him. Get some A1 steak sauce near the ketchup pump.

Finding a restaurant that can handle our motley crew including a senior citizen with a walker and a very camera ready little dog has its challenges. Today, on our way back from central CA we stopped off at Cafe Nouveau for breakfast. I think we were their first customers of the day. They helped us navigate thru the back patio with the walker to a well situated spot. Jason, our server was attentive and knowledgeable providing recommendations on what to order, spice levels, and comparisons between breakfast options. Curiosity got the best of me because it looked like a house so I decided to dig a little bit more into it. Apparently, it's a 1920s Spanish bungalow They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Service is attentive and very friendly. Now the food... Oh man, it was delicious!! I was eating healthy and got just a plain chicken bowl and that was really nothing to write about, but that was my fault because who gets that when surrounded by such yummy food like Strawberry Matcha pancakes or Churro French Toast with kiwi, banana, berries and chantilly cream ‍ Anyways, we got the maple bacon beignets for the table and wow, that was delicious. Warm, fluffy, sweet, salty... yummm!! My son got the 2+2+2. At $23 it was a little pricey for two eggs, 2 bacon and 2 pancakes, but the pancakes were huge and barely fit on the plate. The bacon was also very thick and tasty. Warning: That the house made vanilla caramel syrup they serve is super addicting and you're gonna want to drizzle everything with it!! Everyone else at the table was really happy with what they ordered. Someone also ordered a biscuit on the side and that was by far the fluffiest biscuit I had ever seen. Usually they can be dry and hard, but this one was quite opposite. I've seen other pictures online and I guess it can be a hit or a miss because they don't seem to be consistent. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town and this time actually try the other plates I was eyeing

We got 4 between me and my husband to share and sample: Baja Taco (got fried fish) had fresh ingredients, lettuce and a nice lime flavor! Beach House Tacos (got grilled fish), nice pineapple salsa, tender fish, nice sauces and lettuce. Calamari Taco - fried calamari - fresh avocado and cabbage, nice sauce - chipotle. Marilu Taco with popcorn shrimp with nice chile lime crema, not too spicy. Even the fried seafood here is fresh, not very fried, just a tad, nice and crispy, but not greasy. Loved every taco, they are all different than each other, they use fresh ingredients and vegetables, each had a great, original flavor, they don't skimp on anything - seafood or ingredients. By far, some of the best tacos I ever had, they go in my Top 5. 4 Tacos (they are big!) are enough for 2 people. My and my husband we also shared a portion of guac and chips, they reminded us of Mexico. The guac had a lime flavor and well mashed, the tortilla chips are thicker and extra friend. Anyone who doesn't love a chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich might have some taste bud issues... It came with in-house made potato chips and those were also wonderful.
