I find this very uncomfortable as my legs are short and I'm a senior. When we were seated outside after a sort wait it was lovely. The bench seats and table were good and they had umbrellas. Tables were a nice distance apart and overlooking the main street but the restaurant is set back a bit from the main road so traffic noise wasn't an issue. For dinner my husband wanted a side of pork belly bits to start. They were really tasty. We shared a bottle of wine with our dinner. I ordered the fried chicken with pork belly taters and my husband had ginger beef fried rice. The fried chicken is very similar to Korean chicken. We enjoyed our meals immensely. The check-in line was pretty long, which was frustrating because I really just wanted to grab a drink at the bar. Once we got settled in, though, there were plenty of interesting things to try. I started with the Mezcal Plum Margarita, made with mezcal, Japanese plum wine, plum juice, lime, citric plum mist, and finished with a vanilla & cinnamon salt rim. It was a creative take on a margarita, fruity, smoky, tart, and nicely spiced from the rim. We had great conversation with many of the them and they genuinely care about you having a memorable experience. The views on the patio (alfresco terrace) are as epic as it gets with views of the breathtaking mountains everywhere you look. It's been named the best patio in Canada for years and you will see why when you walk out of the beautiful Rundle Bar onto the patio. The menu is made up of classics and signature creations. I had the Ember which is an old fashioned variation made up of high quality spirits and an infused maple syrup it was one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time.
