I decided to order the Lomo Saltado, which I hadn't had in Pittsburgh. The dish had tender well seasoned filet mignon plus skinny fries and couscous. It's a reflection of Chinese influence on Peruvian culinary . I really enjoyed it. Chef Julio stopped by to say which was lovely. We chatted a little bit about moving from California to Pittsburgh. Nice to hear that he settled in nicely with his family and is happy to call Pittsburgh home. Jenny, his wife, was also helping that evening. It was a pleasure speaking with them. No big deal, the misunderstanding was quickly replaced with the right pour. The wings were perfectly smoky, crisp and juicy. The minestrone soup wasn't bad, but the arugula on top was annoyingly in the way and flapping around when I would go in for a spoonful. I enjoyed the smokiness of the wings so much that I ordered the BBQ platter on my second visit and was not disappointed. Also, the beer was cold, service was good and prices were fair.

It is a fully gravel lot, and porta johns. Although they have standard hours, if the weather is bad or unsafe (winds/storms) they will close so check social media before heading down. This is also only open generally April - October (give or take plus some special occasions) so just keep an eye on the season and forecast. Always check East End's social media before heading down. We love the simplicity of this spot. No frills, waterfront drinks, fully outdoors. We have enjoyed coming here since roundabout opened it several years ago. I'm glad the roundabout owners found a good home for it when they left. Finally, east end brewing, if you're reading this please bring revive that proprietary roundabout Ginga Wheat recipe.... He followed up with the main of beef, brussels, and mashed potatoes. The sensory deprivation ended which makes sense due to the knife needed for the meat.
