One of the newer craft beer places along the Lonsdale Quay area. Parking is plentiful in the evening along that stretch of Esplanade. The place is fairly cozy. Not too many tables, and the place can get full. Best to go on weeknights. I've been here a few times and they're still fiddling with their brews a bit. As of the time of writing there are approximately 10 beers. Staff are friendly and helpful, which is always nice. No complaints. While they run the standard gamut from light to dark, their Cold Brew coffee beer is rather unique. Definitely worth chekcing this one out. Random trivia - the owner's name actually is Beere, hence the Beere Timber Company upstairs (as of the time of writing). Yes he was told to open a brewery because of said name. If that's not a sign, I don't know what is.

Our second brewery pit stop of the evening was at Beere Brewing Company. They're a few doors down from House of Funk Brewing. We dropped in on a Sunday (around 6:30pm). The tasting room is small with a couple tables but there's a few seats outside to enjoy the sun. There was 10 beers on tap but three were already sold out. They also had some snacks (Two Rivers pepperoni sticks and cheddar sticks). - Tality lime & cucumber kombucha ($2.00 for 3 oz) - this was my favourite of everything we sampled. Refreshing, bright and you really taste the lime and cucumber combination. - Flight ($10.00) - we went with the pocket dial (#3), just a friend (#5), three alive (#7) and pinky tuscadero (#9). According to one of the workers, some people get a flight full of the pinky tuscadero. The flavours sounded promising, looked great but lacked in what matters most; taste. Pinky tuscadero (raspberry lemonade sour ale) was the best of the bunch but the ending note had that bitter, unpleasant finish. Three alive (lemon, lime and orange saison) was okay. Just a friend (dry hopped blonde ale) was light, almost watery. Pocket dial (rhubarb sour ale) we could hardly detect any rhubarb flavour. Beers were alright but if I'm choosing between breweries, House of Funk is an easy win over Beere.

There are few things I like more than a small, out-of-the-way brewery with a tiny tasting room and (of course) really good beer! And Beere delivers on all these things. Located about a 10-minute walk from Lonsdale Quay, it's a small place so easy to miss - but once inside they've got some really good brews on tap. They just opened a few months ago, and have been popular, so on my recent visit they were out of a bunch of beer. So I settled down with a citrussy IPA at one of their four small tables (note: sharing tables is encouraged) and sipped it in the warm North Van sun. They also have several varieties of canned beer to take home, and a couple of small grab-and-go food items if you're hungry. The gal at the counter was super friendly and happy to give me some tastes while I decided what to order!

**COVID-19 reopening review** The hubs and I are continuing our beer hopping journey. Our next stop in this fine Thursday afternoon in July leads us to here. Unfortunately, outdoor seating were all occupied. Fortunately there's one last table inside for us. There are minimal protocol here with servers not wearing masks. We ordered by walking up to the plexi cashier and recieved our beer. We ordered a 4 x 4oz flight for $10. Here are the beer notes: - Mango Jerry: there's a little bit of mango. Not that sour. Leans toward sweet. - Cold Brew: Comparable to our beloved Bean Me Up. Coffee notes to start, chocolate notes to end. - Legit Snack: Tasted like a hazy IPA with a sweet hop to end. - Sure as Snack: Tasted like a cousin of Legit Snack - very hazy IPA with a heavy hop at the end.

Cute tasting room. Simple and near the water, with a view. The patio seating is a hot commodity. The staff member that helped me was not very friendly. One beer was sold out. The 4 IPA's that I ordered were lacking in flavour. Tasted like Molson Canadian quality beer with poor quality hops.

It's standard in comparison to other breweries. Nothing really stood out as a wow. Small room but covered picnic tables outside.

It was quite busy when we arrived on Sunday mid afternoon Upon arrival no one was really monitoring or greeting people so we stood around for five minutes unsure of what we were supposed to be doing. We stood around and eventually figured we should just take any free spot we could find for two. We got the cruisey juice double dry hop IPA, fresh hop IPA, the chocolate Stout and the sour (not the berry one on tap). All were good but cruisey juice our favorite. I was pretty shocked regarding their prices though! Two beers came out to be over $20 without tip, otherwise good vibes and good tunes. Cool crowd.

Free parking is available in front of the building. The place is quite spacious. Looks like it was once a car repair shop (just like Streetcar). Actually according to the internets it used to be a carpentry shop. Single large area with bay door that can be opened to let air in. Cute little old school fireplace on the side. Wonder if it's functional. Tables are fine but the chairs are the rather uncomfortable stainless steel interrogation room type. Fortunately there are also some cushions lying around. My butt thanked me. Staff are friendly. As of the time of writing there are 10 brews (9 beers and 1 3rd party cider) available. The beers here are actually quite good. Reminds me of Wildeye. Plenty of ales but they also have sours and stouts. Nice mix. Only real comment I have is that the Life Of Riley Hazy IPA didn't seem too hazy at all. Maybe they should change the name. Will be back in the future.

Malted grains we all know as the big ingredient in beer. Honey is the fermentable in mead. So what we have here at Braggot Brewing is a fermented beverage made with malt and honey. The fellow who runs the place is inviting and not overbearing and does a great job talking about what he brews. His bees are in Delta, he's had them awhile, and he seems like an A+ beekeeper. The beverages were great, and ran from mild and dry to strong and sweet. I think the styles change so no point in describing the ones I had other than to say they were well made and tasted great. Get a sampler if you want to try them all. The vibe is good, like the old brewpubs used to be in the 1980's. IYKYK. They have some board games available so if you want to hold up for a while and have a beverage this is your place!

The inside is not well layed out (one bulky communal table) but they have a few random games and darts. 5 beers to choose from along with a small food/snack menu. - Flight ($10.00 for 4) - golden elixir, sunset orange, brown ale braggot and dark ages. Not much flavour. Golden elixir and sunset orange were unmemorable. The brown ale had some honey notes, but one dimensional. Dark ages reminded me a nitro; everyone's least favourite. - Ambrosia ($5.00) - closest to a true braggot (11.9% alcohol). The best of the five beers that we tried along with the most expensive. Didn't love any of the beers at BB.
