We ate at One Genny once before, a couple of months ago, and while the server was sort of snooty,…read morethe food was pretty tasty - we had a salad and a pasta dish, both of them worth the price paid. So, today we decided to get take out from there, ordering a hamburger, medium, with sweet potato fries (additional charge), and an eggplant parm sub with hot peppers (another additional charge). Upon arriving home, we found that there were no peppers on the sub, and the sub roll was stale (although the eggplant tasted good). The burger was overcooked, extremely well done, and therefore tasteless, served on a burned bun. The sweet potato fries were glommed together and cold, also totally tasteless, as if they'd just been defrosted from a package of frozen fries. On reading other reviews it appears that we are not the only ones to complain about the food quality, as well as missing items on to-go orders. After our first visit we had hoped to make this a regular place to eat, but after today's experience we don't want to risk it.

Typical Irish pub/sports type bar (my favorite), simple decor, some regulars at the bar, a couple families sitting at tables. I decided on the Irish pierogies. That is the vibe that this place gives off, with some pretty great dishes to back up the great selection of unique beer. First showed up there, and immediately my friend (who had been there ONCE before) was recognized by name. I knew I was in for a good time. In all, we got two rounds of excellent beer, tater tots, and a sandwich. Of course, right now it is a bit difficult to manage safe and responsible eating establishments given the pandemic guidelines. However, I think these guys really do it right. Overall, I think that this place has got something to offer to younger crowds and older groups alike. If you get the chance, definitely check this place out and I know that you will not regret it.

Amazing dinner at Packy's tonight!!!…read more It was relaxing, comforting and perfect as usual. This is not your typical bar food! This is lovely pub fare! We started with BBQ Pork Nachos which were smothered in a tangy sauce and cheese. The pork was perfectly cooked and it all meshed together fabulously. Next week got the Chicken Devonshire Salad. There were large, tender, moist pieces of chicken which tastes like they were carved off a roasted chicken. The veggies were al dente and paired so well with the balsamic dressing. Would totally get again. The chicken tenders and sweet potato fries were a great way to finish off. Needless to say we brought home enough for another meal. El Senor serves up a good variety of traditional Mexican fare, plus a bar menu with Mexican beer, domestic beer, wine, mixed drinks, tequila, and margaritas. The space was updated with orange painted walls, framed art, large painted "Welcome" message, booths, tables, and a few seats at the bar. I stopped by El Senor very recently for lunch takeout. I took a look at their laminated menu (small print) to decide what to get. I ordered the Ground Beef Chimichanga Lunch ($12.50) served with Mexican rice, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and guacamole. Complementary chips and salsa were also included. I enjoyed my lunch shortly after at a nearby park. The portion of food was good. The chimichanga filled with ground beef was pretty good, though the food had a bit of a saltier flavor such as the rice and refried beans with melted cheese.
