Absolutely hands down the worst service and customer support ever. I have been ripped off on my fake 1g service for over a year. They claim 24hr customer support but that 100% a lie. read more

I secured Utopia Fiber and internet provider Beehive Broadband in April. I struggled with outages and dropped calls. It has been restored and appears to be working well. One concern with Utopia Fiber/ Beehive Broadband and your own router is you do not know who to contact when things are not working or how to contact them. I know now that Beehive BroadBand does have on call tech support through the weekend. read more

Had the service for a month. It isn't even close to good especially in the evenings. Now haven't had service working for 3 days and no one helping since it started on a Friday and no one seems to work on the weekends. Hot spot our phones to watch TV and he security useless without internet. Not good.​ read more

They, in the mix of ISP's, are squarely in the middle. The service is fine when it's up, but when it's down and you call in they have you go through this ridiculous troubleshooting procedure. I spent 28 years in IT and Engineering, and know points of origin within my system, and when issues are coming from outside. Every time I call there are long wait times, if you're not hung up on. The worst is when you select to have a technician call back and five hours later you still have not heard from them (this happens regularly). We have been with them for seven years, and have almost grown accustom to the issues, and if there are short outages I only call to let them know. Each time I get "it's your equipment." After I go through the childish redirect of pointing at my equipment, I easily refute their accusations, and sometimes when i have them on the phone my speed tests start producing results, or my previously downed service comes to life. Before our last power outage I had them come to the house because I told them their UPS battery was dead, and I believe their outside board was the issue. Nope, it's your modem (router/switch), a NEW Netgear X12 (so not the issue). Their first trouble shooting steps are to come into the house with a laptop, and tell me it's fine. They leave and I call them about 10 minutes later telling them I can get out to the world. They come back and repeat the same test, but this time the tech says "that does not make any sense." Now he can't get out, so he goes out to their end point to the house and tries to get out. "That does not make any sense." So he finally comes in to the UPS and says the whole thing is dead, and replaces it. He still can't get out. They replace the outside board, and he still can't get out. Turns out it was wired incorrectly (FOR SEVEN YEARS), and he rewires it and BOOM, magically back up and running. A couple days ago we had a massive wind and rain storm that lasted a couple days. We were without power for about 10 hours, and when my fiber connection came back up I was connecting at 4 down and 6 up. So I called and left my number for a call back. 6 hours later I get a call when I'm in the middle of repairing a roof, and they don't even leave a message. The next day I was getting 10 down and 12 up. Today I called and the lady I spoke with said I had to be by my system so I could repeat their childish tech support trials, when I knew the problem was on their end. Every time you call their initial recording tells you all systems are functioning normally, even when your service is down. A couple months ago we upgraded to Gig, and went from $59 per month to $99. For a few days after I call and they finally get their issues worked out, I'll consistently get 750 - 840 Mbps (and that's OK), no matter what their excuse is 220-400 is not, and when you're down in the low tens it's beyond reprehensible. This morning I was as I said getting about 14-20 mbps, and for the 12 hours I was away from home it magically repaired itself, now I'm getting 750. I sat on hold for what I was told would be a 2 minute hold, after 28 minutes I hung up. I was only going to tell them that the system magically fixed itself once again while I was away. I'm going to be downgrading to my previous speed, and looking for another carrier. If they would just take responsibility and not try to blame-shift, I'd gladly continue our relationship. read more

Great service! Even though I buy the 250MB service, I regularly get speeds at 270 up and down. Never had an issue with the service. Install was really quick and easy. They even left the service running on old equipment for a few days for me as we purchased a home with existing service. Couldn't have been better to work with. read more

The initial people you talk to are friendly but they can't help get anything done and even they say that nobody will answer when they try and chat with a tech. 24 hours and not a single call back for no internet. I've called 5 times in two days and they just keep saying they'll get to you when they can. Pathetic. read more

HORRIBLE! First off they advertise 24/7 tech support but 'after hours' all they have is an answering service! We were paying for 10mbps but were getting 3mbps! We couldn't even stream Netflix! Yesterday we switched to Comcast instantly we could use our tv and computers again! We had this service for almost 2 years it's getting worse and worse weekly. read more

Beehive isn't ready for real clients in NW Orem. Their packet service is spotty with interrupts at all hours of the day. If you're only browsing or emailing, you'll be fine with the Utopia Fiber service Beehive resells. However, if you're doing WiFi calling or internet TV, you'll be very frustrated with Beehive. Their installers & customer service agents are nice people, but are not given the tools to solve client needs & quickly revert to a canned msg, probably written to explain why the service interruptions I experience are not real. It feels like I'm paying Beehive for the privileged of beta testing their lackluster service. Look elsewhere. read more

99.9 % Unreliable. Do Not Use. I live in Park City, Utah at the Nevis and this Company SUCKS ! The Nevis uses this company for internet, cable and phone as part of the HOA's package what a waste of my money. read more

We are paying 1,080.00 a month for our 30 Unit Association in Draper. We have no control over who the builder of Hamlet Homes signed a 5-year contract with. Each owner gets 50 mgps, but that is not truly the download speed...we are getting 38 & paying for 50 each month. Thank the Lord we only have another year to complete the contract. Tech 2 people are off on the weekend ...so they cannot advertise available 24/7. They don't have enough people to answer calls, but should, because our management company has paid bills twice late this year & Beehive charged 81.00 a month for a 1,080.00 monthly bill for 30 units. So...that is 81.00 X 2 plus another late charge on top...about 200,00! I called & asked why such a steep late charge? Beehive employee said they have a new accounting person they hired last year & she implemented a new accounting system! read more

I had their service when they offered wireless, and it was aweful. They made every effort to fix the issues we had (slow speeds/buffering/etc), but having to share bandwidth with everyone else in my neighborhood, the problems were never fully solved. Then about a year back, they brought Fiber down my street and I signed up. The install took longer than I felt was professional, but my desire to support local kept me strong, and boy am I glad I hung in there... Their fiber optic service is AMAZING!! If I ever have to move to an area their fiber is not available I don't know what I will do. My advice: Find out if its available to you, and if it is GET IT! I heard they are offering TV now too, once my Dish contract is up I may try that too. read more

Thankfully after 5 years of suffering with Digis/Rise (wireless internet), Beehive Broadband made fiber available in my neighborhood (we do not have Xfinity in my area). Talk about a dream come true. Now I have 100 mbps any time of day or night. My 15 mbps plan with Digis/Rise would drop to 1 mbps in the evening during peak neighborhood use. The service was completely worthless. No issues whatsoever with Beehive Broadband. Their service saved my sanity. Highly recommend their fiber service if you can get it in your area. read more

Beehive broadband is the worst internet service provider we have ever had. The narrow bandwidth results in very poor picture quality and constant interuptions when trying to stream movies. It's not worth the $$$ due to the poor quality. read more

Broadband installation took 3 weeks. We were promised it'd be done twice prior to it actually being finished. I had to stay at the house waiting for an installer that actually never showed. Poor communication from them...we were often left in the dark as to why the install job was abandoned for days on end. When I called to ask the receptionist if I could talk the a supervisor or the install guy, I was refused. With the installation taking so long, we asked for a discount on the $300+ installation bill, and they refused. They made 3 extra holes in the exterior stucco of our house and never repaired/filled them. read more

The only customer service they had from there field fiber techs ...they let go. not reliable, never get any help. Hard to find anything useful on there web page. service is horrible. Trust me you do not want to get service through them. I signed up for broadband in April 2016 and have had interrupted service three times already. Each time I call to get it looked at it takes them at least four to five hours to call you back today I got my call back from yesterdays call I made into them. They had me repeat the same steps over and over and over unplug, restart, unplug, restart. The kid I talked to couldn't answer anything about my account like how long my contract is for. How I could get or pay out of my contract. I asked for a manager and he said they will just tell you the same thing so there is no reason to transfer you. every time my service is out I wait at least three days to get anyone out to look at it and we use it for business so that isn't okay. I asked to be transferred to billing to find out about my contract and he couldn't do that either. I was given the number for billing and had to call well guess what I did and it went right back to the same kid. No can help you with anything there they know nothing and cant answer anything you ask them. I've only had the service 2 months. seriously??? and it took them 3 months to get us connected from the day we signed up. every time you call they just say someone will keep you updated as to when they will be out to connect you. Well surprise surprise not one time did I ever get a phone call. Beehive has the worst customer service I have ever experienced anywhere in my life. read more
