This was my first time at a Beef 'O'Brady's and it will likely be my last. Came here on a Sunday which they have a great craft beer special (2 for 1 craft mugs). But honestly the food was pretty bad. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad and the chicken just had the weirdest texture. I left a lot of the chicken on the plate because I just couldn't bear to eat it. Most of the food tasted like it was frozen and had just been heated up. Our friends we came with said when they first moved to Ooltewah a couple years ago the food was really good but now it's just gone downhill. I will say the service was really good so that was a plus, but I just don't think it's going to make up for the low quality food. read more

Beef O Brady's used to be a favorite of the Ooltewah restaurants for my family. But on Saturday 2/7 we realized why we stopped coming in. We were left at the door waiting. No sign to say to seat ourselves or a hostess. After seating ourselves we hoped the visit would turn around. To our dismay the food was terrible. My husband ordered fish tacos. He said they tasted fine but the chips served with them tasted stale and soggy. I ordered the fish and chips and both were terrible. They tasted as if the oil was extremely old. I was able to eat some fries but only took a few bites of fish. When the waitress asked if I wanted a to go box I said no because of how terrible they were and she replied that she would get a manger. A few minutes later she brings the ticket and tell us to have a nice day. No manager came to speak with us. We likely won't be back. read more

Servers serve you food that they have touched with their bare, unwashed hands. Serve you food that has fallen on unwashed counters. They even EAT off of your plates. Go towards their restroom and stop in the hall to take a glance into their DIRTY alleyway where your silverware is rolled and drinks made. They do not throughly wash their dishes and none of the servers wash their hands before or after doing anything. Do NOT eat here. read more

THEY HAVE 25 HDTV's HERE! Okay now that I've launched that little factoid from my chest I can go on. Beef O'Brady's is a sports bar that sports more than a bar. BOB's menu will immediately interrupt your conversation even if you were just talking to yourself. I prefer healthier faire and surprisingly, there were tasty salads and veggie bowls. As usual you have to limit your dressings and sauces so your conscience won't pick you up by the collar and throw you out of the door. (It's SO embarrassing when that occurs.) The dark wood furniture is quite appealing and the obligatory sports paraphernalia is creatively displayed above you. The service staff is friendly and the food delivery is relatively prompt. Three of the HDTV's are outside in a patio that is off of the sight line of traffic. BOB is around the corner from Publix at Snow Hill. Monday evening with the boys, currently a college student who's broke but wanted to eat a good meal for once. Saw this place and was shocked by how "good it looked" in pictures. The price, little expensive but thought hey it's the day after Easter let me eat good with the boys once. So we ordered got our food. I got a seafood combo $14.75 expecting a feast for my self, thinking it'll be better then cafe food at my college. Opened up my entree and was devastated by the sheer lack of mass that was within my box. I paid 14.75 for 5 of the worlds smallest and a ok fried fish. Ate here late Thursday after my daughters soccer game, and will never eat here again. Party of 5. We were told to seat ourselves. Finally got out own menus. After 20 min we flagged down a waitress who took our drink orders. Another 15 min later she sat down our drinks and walked off. When she finally returned to take our order, it was another 40 minutes before our chips and salsa came out. Every 10 minutes or so she would bring out one person's orders after that. Stopped in this evening for Fajita Thursday and 1/2 price margaritas. The food was actually very good. I had the chicken bowl and my husband had the fajitas. The margaritas not so much. Very weak. Our server offered to have bar make another but bartender said she had just made that batch and they had 2 oz. pours. Oh well. Did I mention the food is good. Saved the trip. My wife ordered the grilled chicken just like she always does but this time it was overcooked. It had burnt marks over most of it. The server brought some more chicken out and it still had burnt marks on it. My grilled shrimp along with the rice was very delicious. We were the first customers on a early Sunday morning so the cook had no reason to mess up the food. read more

Our first visit to this Restaurant. I have heard about it but never tried it. Last night was a night when I was tired of the same old restaurants and was looking for something new. I remember seeing a coupon in the Mint magazine for Beef O ' Brady's and thought this is it! It was a little far to drive from Fort Oglethorpe, Ga to the nearest one. It was so worth it the wings was awesome with the Mango Habenaro sauce. My girl friends chicken was delicious and more food than she could eat! The service was awesome with a great atmosphere! The manager David stopped by and welcomed us as well as assuring that everything was okay! David as well as the staff made us feel comfortable and at ease! I've given this place three tries over the past year. As one of Ooltewah's few sit down restaurants it does draw a crowd but the food quality has been disappointing to put it best. The beer list and prices are good and honestly I'd probably like to watch a game, eat aps, and have a few beers here but that's where it ends. read more

Sunday, 9/7/2014, at 6:35 p.m. we arrived and a sign at the door instructed us to seat ourselves. Looking around, several booths appeared to be in need of a cleaning. We found one, but noticed the table covering was peeled off in a small area. We ordered our beverages, a diet coke and a sweet tea with lime, and they were delivered promptly as requested. We ordered an appetizer of Mozzarella sticks with ranch as well as marinara sauce, and our meal was the BYO Burger and the Chipotle Philly Flatbread. Our Mozzarella sticks arrived, minus the ranch, and small plates so we could share them. also, we had only one silverware to share among the both of us. After a few minutes, we were able to get our servers attention, and get the additional requested items. Our food arrived soon thereafter, and was completed as requested. However, the burger was dry, and had very little seasoning on it. Also, the lettuce was shredded and tasted as if it not fresh, but delivered to the restaurant in a bag. Overall it was not a bad meal, but improvement to service and food quality would be worth the management to give consideration too. read more

5 tables get their order before yours. Appetizers come out with a quarter of your order. Waitress makes the excuse that she is doing everyones job. Yet her counterpart was on the ball and orders came out to the respective tables. I worked in restaurant service and when it takes 2 hours for 20 hot wings, queso and chips, pub chips, and a kids order of broccoli with chicken fingers and you miss the queso the MOD needs to be front and center giving some discounts. The queso was thicker than new england clam chowder and had a pile of broken chips like it was the end of the bag. Because either the line chefs are not doing their job or the waitress forgot to put it in the system. On wing night 2 main waitresses on duty is unacceptable if you cant meet the level of service for the customer. Franchise owner get on point. This is a team failure. Wont be back and will going next door to marcos--better service. Only redeeming quality was the was the wing the were well done. read more

It is not fine dining, but if you want your food fried and your beer cold, this is a perfect place to watch "the game" or any other sporting event. The bartender, Jennifer K, is top notch... Food was poor. Their shrimp fajitas were dry, it seemed like they cooked them on skewers with the tails on it and then just threw it on top of onions and peppers. I've never had to peel and remove tail when you order fajitas. Service was horrible. The place was empty and not only was the server lousy but the manager was wandering around not even paying attention when people tried to contact him. 15 minutes is too long to pay and 10 minutes waiting for drinks is terrible while eating.
