First time at a Beef 'O' Brady's and I was pleasantly surprised. The wings and queso dip were my favorite. If you download the app and signup for the rewards program you can get a free appetizer for up to $12. The waitress was really nice and checked on us often.

In our travels back home, we were ravenous and stumbled upon this restaurant in route to I-95. I pulled up Yelp and the menu seemed to meet our needs due to the fact we both had a hankering for salad. We were informed to grab a seat upon entry and were immediately provided with menus. Additionally, our drink order was taken. Aside from the regular menu, they were featuring a 2/$20 special to include an appetizer and two entrées. We didn't take advantage of this offer, but it certainly was appealing. In looking over the special menu, the warm pretzels caught my attention. I didn't see these on the main menu; however, I asked if we were able to order. Wowzers! These soft pretzels are served with a queso and will knock your socks off. They're also graced with butter; therefore, these are scrumptious with or without the cheese. I implore you to try with the cheese because I feel you'd be missing out otherwise. My friend opted for the Mediterranean salad with chicken for her lunch. I ordered the Caesar salad with blackened chicken. Albeit, my chicken arrived grilled. Nonetheless, it was delicious and I didn't bring the snafu to anyone's attention. The tangy dressing is what makes this Caesar so tasty and there was no shortage of croutons. My friend equally enjoyed her salad and was unable to finish it as the portion was vast. For beverages, she enjoyed a Shock Top on draft and I had an iced tea. The tea was fresh brewed and my glass was never empty. Our server Laura did a great job taking care of us. I would return to this venue on a future trip.

Pretty neat shaped Basket Of Fries. Taste is good and natural and not too salty.

Takeout went smoothly. The ladies were nice to find my order and organize it into bags stocked with plenty of napkins. The wings and their uniquely shaped fries were amazing. The dry rub wings were exceptional. It's nice to see that you can order online fairly easily.

There was plenty to take home and have a second meal, and she said it was all delicious. I ordered the soup (clam chowder) and house Caesar. The soup was nice and hot and tasted great. The salad was good, though a tad heavy on the dressing. A general note about Miller's and its kids' menu: I have eaten at a few of these places around the state, and I find their policy about adults eating off the kids' menu to be weird. Some servers are fine with it and some claim management won't let them allow you to order of the other menu. Most items on the kids' menu cost about $8. The (adult) meatloaf is $8.50. The fish and chips are $7.99. So, what is the big deal about an adult ordering off the kids' menu if the costs are the same? Some of us don't want a 1/2 pound burger. The kids' menu has a 1/4 lb. burger. Also, we sometime dine with our disabled nephews, and they usually prefer "kid friendly" dishes. I wish Miller's would review this policy.

Since we were catching up with family we chatted away about 45 minutes and we realized "where is our food". Somewhere things went off the rails. To say we were surprised is an understatement. Finally the manager comes over and says the food should be out in a minute. An hour after ordering our food arrived. The food was average at best. Not what we experienced before. Two of the six ordered the daily special (ribs), two carbonara, ravioli and a salad. Not complicated. Manager was apologetic and comp'd the table. Server was upset since every table In her section had issues. We took care of Taylor knowing it wasn't her fault. Am I off Miller's. No. But if they repeat this nightmare I will have to really think twice about coming OTB. Also they got rid of the Field Goal Trio of wings, zingers and shrimp. So sad.

The place clearly has a strong neighborhood vibe. Even on a holiday, it felt like a regular hangout spot where many of the patrons seemed to know each other and the bartenders. That kind of atmosphere always adds a layer of warmth you can't manufacture. Service-wise, our waitress was very friendly and attentive when she was at the table. Food delivery did take longer than expected considering the restaurant didn't appear overly busy, but to be fair, it was a specialized St. Patrick's Day menu which likely slowed the kitchen down. Now to the food. My co-diner ordered the corned beef Reuben, served on grilled rye with a generous pile of crinkle fries. The sandwich was stacked with tender corned beef and had that classic deli-style balance of meat and sauerkraut. He described it simply as "very good," which from him is a strong endorsement. I ordered the traditional Irish stew with potatoes and cabbage, which came plated with a hearty portion of mashed potatoes. The stew itself had a few nice chunks of beef and vegetables in a rich brown gravy that definitely leaned into bold seasoning. The only note is that the pepper level was quite heavy across the stew, mashed potatoes, and cabbage. If you're someone who enjoys a strong pepper-forward flavor profile, this will absolutely be right up your alley. Portions were generous and the meal definitely delivered that comfort-food, stick-to-your-ribs Irish pub feeling. Overall, a positive experience with friendly service, a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere, and hearty holiday fare. I'd happily come back again -- especially to explore more of the regular menu outside the St. Patrick's Day rush.

I signaled the bartender to let her know there was no fish, only batter, when suddenly approached by someone from the kitchen. I told him there were two small pieces of fish amongst this pile of batter and I was not satisfied with the meal. He has said, making excuses that he had cooked it himself and that it was fine. He took my plate of batter and walked off with an attitude. Recommend the fish and chips. The cook was rude and disrespectful. Definitely not at all what expected. I will never be back. It's been so long since I've been to Jabbers, and even longer still since I reviewed them so an update is certainly warranted. The place is located where it's off our normal beaten path but a close friend reminded us of the place, so off we were to try them again, as if it were the first time. The place hasn't changed much since the last time I was there. Maybe new furniture, maybe new furnishing, but pretty much intact from what I recall. The menus did change as it is very targeted on choices to eat - which I find a good thing. For dinner, around the table, we had two "build your own burgers" and a shrimp and spinach salad. For an appetizer we had their onion petals (which I like better than those massive onions you get at the bigger places. Anyway, all the food was delicious - burgers cooked on point and the salad carried nice large shrimp - all good. We discovered they offer desserts from the local cupcake truck - cakes of all sorts (peanut butter, chocolate, strawberry, raspberry, etc.) that were supremely delicious. If there is a reason to come back it's for their foods and these cakes - phenomenal. Now, the issue with this place is definitely the service. Not to say the servers were lacking - because they were not - they were friendly and courteous. The problem is that they seem to need more of them. I kinda felt bad for the two that were working the room as they had to tag-team and help each other, not to mention how ragged they were running trying to keep up with everything and everyone - which they really couldn't. Again another person on the wait-staff would definitely help. We plan on coming back again, we will do so knowing we will be in for the long haul. If you're not in any terrible hurry, this place is worth the time.
