This is a beautiful spa In Beechwood! I wish I wasn't only visiting Ottawa because they offer so many services. Super clean, modern, parking lot, really professional. I came for a pedicure (fabulous!) but they offer body contouring, facials, laser hair removal. See the pic with all the services! They took a big hit with the pandemic. You are not going to get anything fancy here. But the gals generally do a good job, for a good price.

I hate leaving bad reviews at places but this one had to be done. I went here two weeks ago to get an acrylic set with tips. the nail technician suggested bio gel because it was supposedly stronger so I agreed to it. That night my thumb chipped and by the morning the fake nail under neath was bent. I called to book a fix appointment and by the next week when I went in all my nails had come off. I went in asking for acrylic. Not bio gel as it was not strong at all. it was increidble how horribly long I was there. It took the technician from 10:45-1:20 to complete one set of nails. And at the end she charged me for supposedly a different powder than I had asked for in the first place? Not only was I angry at the poor ability to do my nails. But I was also angry I was charged for a product I did not even ask her to use. The lady is very nice. But she is a very bad nail tech. the nails themselves are extremely thick an uneven. It makes me quite sad to be leaving this review, but to anyone wanting to get your nails done DO NOT waste ur money here. I am not a super picky person by any means. But none of the nail services I received here are worthy of a trip back. read more

Being new to this community, I made my first appointment with Beechwood Oasis two days in advance. The woman who answered the phone said she was writing down the details. She took my name and phone number. I rearranged my shcedule for this appointment and walked over in the pouring rain at the scheduled time/day and nobody was in the locked building. I called the number and the same woman said she couldn't make it because she was waiting for her car to be repaired. I asked why she hadn't called me to let me know. No response. No apology. Unbelievable! I found another little place where I drove to with a husband and wife team who fit me in and gave me wonderful service in a nice environment. I will never spend my money at Beechwood Oasis because that experience was anything but an oasis. Save your time, money and effort and find a better place for a mani/pedi. read more

Wish I would give it ZERO. Just left the girl who did my toes was really good however my nails aren't great but the icing on the cake is they dripped RED nail polish on my brand new brown suede boots. No apology no let me pay to get it out. Nothing. Beware. read more

I've been going to oasis spa and have always been very happy until recently. In the past it was great value for a quality service and I would have given it 5 stars. Recently the have brought on new staff who rush through it and don't provide the same quality. For example they used to provide a wonderful leg massage with pedicure that would last almost 10 minutes. The last 3 times I was there it was about 1 minute and essentially just applying lotion. I hope they get back to the wonderful service previously provided. read more

Forget it. I think the place may be closing or in some distress; they don't seem to have stocks of any new polish and they've started to treat regular clients rather shabbily. I sat for an hour mid-service (was supposed to be manicure/pedicure) watching my manicurist go out for a smoke, chat to the others, serve another client, etc., before I had to walk out with not a spot of colour on fingers or toes. I like this place for the waxing, manis and pedis. I especially like that I have never been required to reserve in advance. They are newcomers to Canada and the service is fast, efficient, professional and they don't try to become my friend. English and French are not their mother tongues, so the service is rarely chatty, but I like it that way. They do a good job for a good price. read more

I do not usually write reviews but this place had some of the worst service I've ever received my friend and I had an appointment to get our nails done at 6 yesterday and to get acrylics for two people it took until 9:30 they are absolutely horrible with time management. read more

Agreed. I think it was sold or some staff had to leave re immigration issues. I was also a regular. No notice given. when I went in to be served by my usual girl , the new staff said no one is here. Not a bad place to get your nails done in the neighbourhood. If you're looking for the more current colours of Essie or OPI, you may want to bring your own. About a 30 minute wait on a Saturday afternoon if you stop by without an appointment. Unfortunately, making an appointment doesn't always help. Still had to wait 20 minutes and they had me propped up on the edge of a pedi chair while they did mani. Not cool. Staff is friendly and efficient. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere.
