Our new windows were installed early. Jarlin and his crew were down before 10 am and did not leave until after 7:30 pm. They even wore head lamps to complete the work in the dark. The new windows from Home Guard International are amazing. The glass is Cardinal glass. The frame is a hybrid vinyl and fiberglass. The frame inside the house is solid wood instead of fiber board. The windows are caulked as opposed to no caulking by the builder. I am amazed by the beauty and sturdiness of the new windows. The Amish build well and the cost is much lower than a name brand window. The Amish know quality. We are looking to our new front door from Home Guard constructed from fiberglass. The windows and the door are a great upgrade for our four year old Home. Thank you Bee windows! read more

The work done was excellent. We got 2 bothrooms tub to shower conversions and an entry door. We felt we were TOTALLY misled by our salesman on the financing front. We wanted the 24 month SAC financing, and the entire conversation there was mention of that. The job was recently completed and those were not the terms of the contract. All I have to say, double check what you are signing, even if the whole conversation prior to signing is indicative of the deal you think you are getting, double check that you are not being misled and if you think you are getting 24 months interest free, make sure that is what is in the contract. Don't be trusting and complacent that all salesmen are not slippery. It is a total salesman move and it works - very scummy business move. And ask for an itemized list of what you are getting, like what the shower seat costs, what the caddy costs. These totals of this job and this job - very blase and vanilla. So, the numbers can be padded to absorb the "sale" that is being offered. Bee did nice work, but the salesman side, in our experience, was very misleading. Now we are stuck with financing charges that we were led to believe in our conversation, would be avoided if paid within 24 months - the only reason we decided to do the job. read more

I used Bee for 2-bathroom remodels, they did a terrible job. The showers were to be cut to length, they are both short, the flooring install is terrible, they said Well the mistakes can be covered by baseboard. The shower leaks and they tried a half assed fix, now they won't answer or return calls to come out and fix correctly. I guess the 2 year warranty is great if you don't answer the phone or come out. I wish I never used them and will tell everyone I know to avoid them. read more

Consumer Alert: Back in November of 2024 we had Windows put all new windows in our home. (20k) Our experience is as follows: View pictures how well they thought they did with insulation ( you can see outside and feel the wind blowing through). They started coil wrap the outside and trim the inside, I stopped the job and had the trim removed to do the insulation correctly. After that our walls were damaged, mailbox hit, new garage door scratched up and they have been out 5 times and still can manage to work a caulk gun. We have spoken to many of their staff from top to bottom. Even with pictures and evidence of damage and install issues. Job still isn't completed and damages still haven't been corrected. Just last week they offered $3,500 for a no fault incident claim and I had to sign off that I would NOT speak of them or anything negative or they could file against me. Do not do business with this company. They lie to you to get your business and make promised they know they can't keep. We had a walk in shower installed and a window installed in our bathroom. The window was to match all of the other windows in our house. It was to be cashmere inside and out and after it was installed they say it us not available in cashmere so we are stuck with one white window. The installer also damaged the wood trim around the window and left without telling us. They are not admitting any wrongdoing and are not willing to give any compensation. May have to get an attorney involved. read more

Got a "free" quote on a front door and surround after going to the home show. Was quoted $14,000. That's right, a front door and surround is the same cost as a year in college for a state school. I didn't use them for the work because they wanted 10 thousand dollars for 2 basic entry doors. I was speechless when he showed me the quote. The first number is 15 thousand dollars. Two 32inch at Menards costs 600 dollars. 9500 dollars in labor, completely insane. I feels so bad for people who actually sign with Bee. Our first experience with Bee was great. They installed a sliding glass door. High quality product, great communication, quick and clean installation. Second experience has been really really bad. Started off fine. The measure and quote went well. Install day came and one of the bathroom windows that was supposed to have frosted glass had standard glass. They said they'd re order and come out and install. It took 4 months. And when they came out to install the replacement, it was incorrect too. Only the top half of the window was frosted. That was a month and a half ago. They said I'd hear back early May, it's May 15 and I haven't heard a peep from them since. For as expensive their windows are the really don't seem to care about getting it right and taking care of the customer after theyve been paid. Big fail. read more

Bee window guy came over to give us a free estimate on our windows. I requested he wear a mask and he looked confused. He said I'm vaccinated, and I said I'm requesting you wear a mask. He reluctantly goes back to the car and grabs a mask. Once inside he asks why we aren't going to wear a mask. I replied why would I wear a mask at my house? He looked to my husband who also responded that we won't be wearing one in our home. We asked him would he like to move on and give the quote and he responded yes. I'm in the middle of a $70k project with bee and I've had a leaky window for 7 weeks. After 4 trips out its finally not gushing water in my house. To my amazement they've smeared clear silicone all over 2 windows and multiple joints. I don't have ANY clear silicone anywhere on my house now there's 10 tubes of it all over 2 windows. Has put more than a bad taste in my mouth. I've asked to talk to the owners multiple times and not once have I been able to reach them. Had a Sunrise window seal go bad 1 1/2 years ago so I contacted Bee to get it replaced, Waited for 7 months and they finally called and told me the window was in and gave me an installation date. Showed up and it was the wrong color. They gave me another installation date about six months from the previous 7 months. They called me the day before the installation date and told me that the window has not arrived yet. They never gave me a new installation date so I have tried to contact them but no one returns my call. read more

Bee Window stopped work on my project without notification, gave no explanation, contractor no showed several times during the installation. We entered into a contract for Siding, Windows and Doors. The sales person completed an application for a line of credit on my behalf and it was approved. The line of credit allowed 6 months to purchase and I made the purchase on the same day as the approval, however Bee Window only billed the line of credit for half of the project fee that day and never billed for the rest of the project. Bee Window is suing me for the remainder of the cost because they let the line of credit expire. The project is still incomplete and no attempts to contract me have been made with the exception of a lawyer hired by Bee Window to sue me! read more

I took time to meet with their consultant, and thought we had a workable plan. They were supposed to send me a quote. A week later I had not heard anything, so I called them to follow up, and confirmed my email address. The next evening, I still had not heard anything, so I called and told them if I didn't have a quote by the following day I would need to go with someone else. A supervisor called me that evening, and said they had had the email incorrect before (which doesn't seem right as I typed it in myself, and the office confirmed it when I called the day before) but that they would now resolve it. That was three days ago, during which time the salesperson and I have traded voicemails, but I still haven't received a quote, and it has now been two weeks. I don't want to work with a company that doesn't respect my time, so am back to square one looking for another window company. read more

Set up service to replace caulking on windows. Many calls to try and get scheduled. Took two months of waiting for service. The day of appointment after they should have arrived they called to cancel due to truck break down. (I offered to give their employee a ride if they don't have vehicles)They offered to reschedule 10 days away from the original schedule. This should have been easy money for them. Mad at myself for a Ben considering using Bee. Ordered 3 doors on June 16, 2021. Was told install would be in August. Have gotten texts and emails stating that product is not in yet, thanks for being patient. I am out of patience since I have been calling with no answers to why my doors are not in. Last week I was told 2 of my doors were in. This week, they cannot get one of my doors and they sent another similar option. Not similar (I ordered a door with a window they showed a solid door) and are now saying my 2 other doors just came in 3 days ago. I am over it. 7 months to get my doors? No! And now they say they can't cancel because I am past the 30 day cancellation. And product has come in. Well you failed to tell me that I wouldn't get my doors in a timely fashion within that 30 days. And the manager would talk to me about a 'discount' AFTER installation. Ummmm no. You are not installing and talking later! DO NOT USE BEE! Terrible customer service! I can get similar doors for all 3 at less then $1,000 and they are charging almost $20,000! read more

Sales rep Angelina from Bee window came to my house for a quote on windows and patio door. I told/showed Angelina my patio door that I had to walk sideways in patio door because of my dog door. She said that it's expensive because they would have to alter the patio door but we can get a foot larger opening if we go from a 5 foot door to 6 foot door and not only will I get a foot more space to walk thru but I would have a lot more sunlight. When the door was installed, I only got about 3 inches and I still have to walk sideways through patio door and now my dog door does not fit because vertically the door is shorter because of all the framing. The patio door is way worse then the door that was on in the first place. I have tried to work with Amy/Bee window and they just don't care. I have asked for this to be resolved and they just don't care. Also the installer had cut my electric outlet outside, they went up in my attic to try and fix it and ended up leaving my attic door open and light on, which I had no ladder to close it and had to have someone come with a ladder to close and turn light off. The installer was tearing down the siding around patio door and throwing it to find the electric problem. They ended up sending a electrician out a few days later and said they cut wire. Also my cable wires are now hanging because of they did not put back up. I am so sad about this patio door because it is now worse then my original door and Amy/Bee could care less. read more

Project was just completed. My windows and siding look amazing thanks to Tyler and his crew. My only complaint would be a few scraps left in my yard once the job was completed. Called into their office to let them know and they sent someone out the next day to clean up the scraps left behind. I will definitely be using them again for future projects. read more

Purchased new windows in June. July storm and water came through one window in buckets. Inspection showed improper installation. After trying to settle for damages and repairs, finally had to let insurance do the work. It's now October with minimal response from Bee. Horrible experience. Most unorganized business I have ever dealt with. Signed contract for new windows and new siding on may 2017. The completion date was set for July 30th. First they came to install windows. Ok. Then we were waiting on siding. And waiting. Kept saying they were behind on other jobs and other rude BS. First delivery of siding. Not what I ordered. By the time the right siding was delivered and they found time for my house it was OCTOBER! Yes OCTOBER. My house which was supposed to be finished in July, looked like crap all summer, was finally finished November 8th,2017. Plus you would think you would get a thank you for your business or sorry about the delay. I would never recommend Bee Window to anyone. read more

What started easy by making an appointment online turned in to over an hour wasted on the phone trying to confirm my appointment and ended with the sales person walking out of our home because my husband wasn't going to be sitting in on the "presentation". My husband could care less about the window selected or any options available. He trusts me to do the research and make an educated decision. When the sales person was told I would be the only one able to listen to his estimate, he asked to reschedule. Took advantage of an elderly woman with dementia! Unbeknownst to any of us, my 83 year old mother with dementia entered into an agreement to purchase an entry door from Bee Windows. A salesman sold my mother a $5000 door that was nearly identical to the door that was on her house citing how much more secure this new door would be. Apparently she told the salesman she was worried about robbery and felt she needed a new security door. He sold her a $5000 door and collected a $2500 deposit from her. Shortly after she ordered the door she entered a memory care unit for Demetria which is when we found the contract and felt she had been taken advantage of. I contacted Bee several times on her behalf, explaining the situation and asking to withdraw the agreement as my mother had been declared incompetent and would not be returning to the house. I was referred to George Faerber's voicemail. He never responded to my messages. When I called Bee and explained that George hadn't responded, they laughed and said "he never checks his voicemail. You need to talk to his wife, Pam". I did speak with Pam and explained the situation. She was completely UNWILLING TO WORK WITH US IN ANY WAY stating that a contract had been signed and the door could not be cancelled because it had already been ordered. She offered to cancel the contract but they would keep the $2500 deposit. For what? This salesman and this company took advantage of a frightened widow with dementia! Shame on Bee Window! They are not local, they are located in Indianapolis and they LACK Integrity in their business dealings! Would not recommend! read more

We would NOT recommend them for anything! If I were to write everything, it would be a book... we went w/Bee Window, because they were such a reputable company... BUT...they NO LONGER ARE!!! PLEASE, pay heed to ALL the bad reviews on the different sites! *it STARTED, w/coming on the wrong week to install windows, when we we were holding til our new roof got installed (& being told off, because I did not want it installed before the roof, & was told it was $40,000 worth of windows/inventory, & he would NOT take them back to sit in the warehouse, it was too much money, so, they DID install them that day, BEFORE the roof, & yes there was an issue, but luckily, it only involved one window!)... *THEN, it went to having non carpenters "try" to install the wood on the inside... *THEN, not having the rubber seam on the outside (the 4 strips on each window, that is supposed to keep the air out!), put in properly/leaving space for bugs to get in/nest (which has never been fixed right, so we still have the nesting bugs!)... & if you open the window, all their "nesting stuff" flies in your house, & don't think about taking the screen out, or they are literally IN your house! *****THEN, seeing daylight thru the edges of the screens (still there!..not fitted properly)... *THEN, to taking over a year to get the inside wood fixed properly (which incl: leaving exposed insulation in a bathrm!)... ****THEN, to taking back the screens, w/the good material (which George/owner gave us, due to so many issues w/the screens/windows!), & replacing them back w/the cheaper material, & then STILL sending them back to us, where we could see daylight thru them (that's still how they are!)... Meanwhile, the expert people, the Marvin window rep, & their own employees, said it wasn't right... BUT...even tho George, the owner, was here himself a few times, & saw the stuff (& said he'd take care of it!), we did NOT get it taken care of, & what was taken care of, took forever to get done, (which stressed the heck out of us, having to call, email, & text constantly!...NO COMMUNICATION on their part)... *AND, they have now told us, after fighting them for a couple years, they won't warranty any of it, because we held back, $2000, till they finished the job "properly" (& that of course, has not happened yet,!?) It has been a fiasco!! There is A LOT more to this story... & let's just say, it definitely has NOT been worth our $40,000+, for windows, esp NOT our TIME to stay on top of it... I am giving them a one star because they don't allow 0 stars. I ordered a window to be installed in my basement that required them cutting into the concrete. We agreed on the window and the price. They send out someone to remeasure and verify the information. The person said that to dig the window they needed to have me move the gas line and the AC unit. I then proceeded to get the gas company and a separate furnace company to move the gas into the house and move the AC unit, they both said that there was no need to move either one. I then contacted Bee windows that I was not going to move the gas because the gas company said not to and the same with the AC unit, Bee said that they would refund my money already paid less the full retail value of the window, nearly $2000. I then said if I am being charged for the window that I would take it and have it installed myself. This was done without moving the gas line nor the AC unit. Then to add insult to injury, the window was missing the crank handle. They wanted me to pay them $25 for shipping. They were using USPS. They have been rude and condescending as soon as they didn't get the install. Avoid like the plague. read more

I was told my job would take 3 days to complete, BUT I'm now into the second month without the job being completed yet. I paid a premium to have Bee install my doors, but I received extremely poor customer service, and the average to poor craftsmanship. I've now hired two other carpenters and a painter to come in and complete the work Bee should have done. Added a window and replaced a sliding glass door. In the process, the installer cut the cable to the TV. Had to send an electrician the next day to fix it. The door and the window LOOKED nice when he finished but a day or two later I noticed our outside siding around the window was loose. About a month later the outside calking was covered in black mold. Tried scrubbing with bleach, most did not come off. Couple of months later, noticed that the inside wood trim installed by BEE around window and door was loose and coming away from the wall, I would knock it back into place with my hand every few months. If we leave the door unlocked our cat can open the door. Winter rolled around and the cold air poured in around the trim. The window is always fogged up. We recently installed a shelf under the window and the shelf looked not level compared to the window but the guy that installed the shelf used a level to show us it wasn't the shelf but the window that was not level. Fast forward 3 years, we get a courtesy call to see how we like our window and door. I let them know of all the issues and the caller transfer me to someone else, who's tone sounded a little put out. Anyway , 2 weeks later someone comes to fix the issues. The only thing he fixed was the trim. Everything else the guy had an excuse of why WE would have to hire someone else to fix or just live with it. Our siding and other windows were done in 1994 and none of it is loose, molding or fogged. It's been at least 2 weeks and know one has called to see if we are satisfied. My parents had all their windows replaced several years ago by BEST windows here in Lafayette and they are very happy with them. If I could do it over I would try Best Windows!!! read more
