The most expensive started at $20K and without changing anything at all came down to $9,500 after I said no for about 30 minutes. That reminds me of another aspect of what I liked about Master Roofing. There was absolutely zero pressure. I was not made to feel if I didn't sign on the bottom line immediately, I'd lose out on special pricing. Master Roofing did not make me sit with them - Some companies required my wife to be there with me for the hours long intimidation sales pitch. Lastly, their employees are not subcontractors who worked very hard did a great job. Dominion Energy told me they would provide a box and accompanying upper wires free of charge, yet Joe insisted on replacing the wires above my box and charging me for them. He rushed me into doing the job by telling me it was going to rain soon and that he had to hurry up and get started as he charges by the hour, essentially cutting off my additional questioning of what he was planning to do and how, etc. As a result he also decided not to call Dominion when he arrived, as they told me he should do. Today when Dominion stopped by to take a look they 1) told me that Joe's work was mediocre but could have been done better 2) Joe touched THEIR wires which he shouldn't have done and could have easily bypassed the need to charge me for those add'l wires but chose not to in order to scam more money out of me, and most importantly 3) he completely overcharged me (likely for the box and wires which I told him Dominion was to provide for free). We just finished up a large remodel of my home with Bladimir and his company. All I can say is wow…read morethey did a fantastic job. About a month ago our pipes burst in several places in the house. We didn't realize we had the old quest piping. There was a lot of damage. We decided to replumb the entire house. Also we had been planning on renovating our master bath and moving the shower and tub. So we decided to that at the same time. Bladimir and I texted over about an hour agreed on a price and they started the next day. What is great about this company and different from everyone else is that they actually show up on time even early. They ask a lot of questions, there is nothing worse than a contractor that just guesses what you like. He was constantly asking what and where. The bathroom came out exactly like I wanted for the price I wanted. Definitely recommend them.

I absolutely can not recommend that you avoid this company enough…read more My wife and I hired this company to fix a door frame that lead into our basement from outside. We were charged $625 dollars for two pieces of trim and a threshold to be replaced. We were eager to get the repair done, and upon first inspection it looked like the job went fine. Less than a week later, it rained and we found that the "trim" that had been replaced had melted. Bladimir, who I assume owns the company since his phone is the one listed on their website, had replaced the trim with $20 putty and painted over it. My wife and I thought that everyone makes mistakes and we would forgive this if he would come back and fix the problem. We texted him and he said he'd fix it....but since that text he has dodged every call and text from us. We are heavily considering speaking to a lawyer. There are many handymen in this area. Do not use one that will take shortcuts while charging full price. Do not use one that will avoid you completely after doing a bad job. In short, do not use this company.

I am a commercial roofing contractor and understand the difficulties and complications of…read morecontracting. Every job is different and the scope of work and mutual agreement between client and contractor on that scope in writing and upfront is critical to customer satisfaction. There are many characteristics that I look for in a contractor. Here is a short list of the basics: 1) Insured and willing to supply proof of current insurance 2) Willing to supply current references 3) Possess the ability to identify and understand my needs related to the work at hand 4) Manage the employees by showing up and inspecting the work 5) Willing to follow-through on all work to completion 6) Communicate problems, concerns, and potential delays upfront and during the process 7) Suggest solutions to those problems whether foreseen or not 8) Understanding that "completion" is a mutual agreement between reasonable client and contractor based on the scope of work I believe these are qualities of an honest and straightforward contractor. These are traits that describe EZ Contracting Group. He understands the relationship is mutual and a 2-way street. The workmanship was good, and that which was not, was made right without question. Equally important, John Ho is a good guy! He is pleasant, warm-hearted, caring, and truly invested in your satisfaction with his work. John understands repeat and referral. I will use EZ Contracting Group again and recommend his company to you without hesitation. I know how truly rare these qualities are in contracting!

He was able to come out within the hour and assess what needed to be done. His price seemed reasonable and fair. Since that time, Steve has tackled most of the items on the inspection list and others that have came up after. He is always extremely responsive, reasonable and level headed. What I like most is that he thinks things through to make sure the job is done correct. Here are just a few of the projects that he has tackled at our house: --fixed three toilets that were running slow and not flushing properly --replaced rusting pipe under the sink in the powder room --leveled and secured the dishwasher (the bottom rack would fly out of the dishwasher and the entire dishwasher would move when you opened and closed the door) --fixed a place in front of the house where a brick was missing --did some drywall work above our stairs --replaced/fixed several light switches and outlets around the house --secured the pillars outside of the house (they would move if you leaned on them) --replaced a broken switch on a lamp --secured a lamp that was wobbly --helped build and hung barn doors --fixed the low water pressure in kitchen sink faucet --fixed all the stoppers in our sinks --fixed an outlet so it is linked to the light switch --fixed our treadmill (the upper control panel went out so we ordered another one and he installed it. The treadmill works like new) Seriously anytime I have an issue I ask him if he can fix it. If he can, he is quick to respond and if he can not (which is not often) he is honest and suggests a different source. I highly recommend House Spouse Home Repair
