From inside the attic I can see a little bit a water on the pipe so I knew that was the problem. I had called five other roofing companies including JR's. Within 30 minutes I had a callback from Ramon who said that they could replace them the same day. I had another company quote me 2 1/2 times as much. Which was a complete rip off, terrible... I was really happy with JR's pricing and the response. In 45 minutes they were on scene and up on the roof. They brought down the old flashing boots and sure enough they were dry rotted. It was really disappointing that other companies would want to rip somebody off that much. But I would definitely recommend JR's in the future and I know for sure if I had a roofing issue they would be my first call. Thanks to Ramon for being professional and polite. They emailed me the bill and I paid it directly online. It was a great experience. Thanks.

After doing my research, I interviewed several (about 5) licensed roofers. Artin was the ONLY company who knew a metal roof had to be welded, not caulked. Their estimate was mid-range of all the roofers AND they were going to do it right. That was nearly 15 years ago (the roof should last another 40 years or more). They just returned to paint the metal roof again (simple, routine maintenance every 5 years or so). I've been extremely happy with this company whom I have had do several other jobs for me (replacing fascia boards, columns, etc.). Scheduling both estimates and work is easy. Artin takes customer service seriously and is run professionally.

They matched shingles as well as I could have expected. Thelma in the office and Luis A were very professional and provided exemplary customer service, all at a fair price. They also gave me before-and-after photos without my having to ask.

Nicolary came out and promptly and was very thoughtful in the initial consultation. Our front door situation was a bit of a mess, and they expertly recommended purchasing the door in a size smaller and building a new frame around it to fix the poor work done by previous owners. The delivery was timely and the install was seamless. A few days after the install, some huge winds came through and bent the closer. Nicolary came out at no charge to assess and remedy the situation, which they were absolutely not obligated to do. Highly recommended!

They refused to provide me any amount compensation to help my buy a new storm door to replace the one taken without my permission. That's called stealing. I had Action Sheet Metal come out and give me a quote for copper gutters on my colonial house…read moreshortly after one of our many storms had knocked my garage gutter down. My original gutters were aluminum and I had been considering a switch to copper. Action Sheet metal are one of the few copper fabricators in the area that will actually make a gutter to the size you need as opposed to standard size pieces cut and reattached. Having one piece of a long run helps to eliminate water leakage at the seams and look better. I got prices from a few other gutter companies in the area but Randy gave me the best price. He also recommended the 6 " half round gutters over the 5" which I am thankful for. Jose and another man installed the gutters and they turned out beautifully. I am currently completing a side room renovation and Randy came out again to give me a quote. He made a few excellent suggestions to enhance the design of my structure. Installation was done two days after my first email and installed just in time before a huge rain. We are very satisfied, and are return customers. Over this period, we had a variety of projects done including renovating a 1960s basement with paneling and drop ceilings into a modern living space, with a bedroom, family room, laundry room, new bathroom, and built-in bookcases. We also had exterior work done, including a new front door and entrance, stamped concrete porch and walkway, a deck, lighting, a new roof with Solatubes, and vinyl trim on the house. Other work included renovating three bathrooms, drywall repair, painting, hardwood floor installation, and miscellaneous other tasks. He also fixed sub-par work done by previous contractors. During each step of the renovation process the staff of Capitol Builders Group excelled at assisting us in meeting our vision and suggesting better alternatives. All renovations are a challenge and random things pop up that require changes to the plan. The staff of Capitol Builders Group consistently met these challenges and we trust their input and solutions. Martir Hernandez has always been professional, conscientious, and responsive. Further, he is good to his staff and we note that many have been with the company since we became customers. It is reassuring to work with the same quality staff members across several projects. This comment also extends to the occasional sub-contractors that are used. All staff are courteous, respectful and at the end of everyday clean up their work area. We will continue to use Capitol Builders Group for our home projects, and will continue to recommend them to friends.
