Great company! Prompt, knowledgeable, effective, and courteous. We have a big yard almost completely covered in native plants -- apparently a great environment for yellow jackets. Over the past decade they've exterminated five different nests. They always give me great tips on discouraging nesting. No troubles this year, so I may have the hang of it. A nice bunch of people who know what they're doing. read more

Last fall we discovered a large hornets nest in one of our trees. We contacted Bee Control and they responded the same day. The technician very quickly eliminated the huge nest and waited to ensure it was safe before leaving. One week later we uncovered a yellow jacket nest under some leaves in the backyard. Again, we called and they responded immediately the same day and eliminated the nest. I will definitely use them for any future pest issues. read more

I had a yellow jacket hive buried in my front yard and tried to eradicate it myself, resulting in getting stung and angry bugs. I called Bee Control and quickly got a call back. I was able to get service the next morning, and the technician was friendly and informative. By that evening the yellow jackets were gone! I would use them again! read more

Called about a yellow jacket nest on my property. Kelly was super nice and informative on the phone. He let me know it may be a couple of days to get to us since the yellowjackets are really bad this year. He did put us on a call list if in the area. We got a call that same evening! They go the yellowjacket nest taken care of and I could not be happier! Will use them again when inevitably we find any more. Thank you, Kelly! read more

It was a tricky problem. We discovered a hive 60' up an ailing ash tree that needed to be removed. The tree guys wouldn't go near it, said to let them know when the bees were gone! We got pointed to Bee Control NW. I felt like I had a team of problem solvers and get-r-done guys working with me, not just hired hands. Bill steadied the project (and the ladder), Kelly strategized it, and intrepid Rob went up the 60' extension ladder. It was a hard one, but with can-do spirit and a little imagination, they saved the day. These guys are professional, nice to work with, and very, very good! read more

So, funny enough, this is not 5-stars for service completed, but 5-stars for saveing me some money and educating me that the service wasn't required at all! I reached out through Yelp projects, thinking that I needed a yellow jacket nest cleaned out over the winter. Kelly responded and let me know that all the yellow jackets die off suring the winter and the queen hibernates elsewhere. So, in essence, he "turned away" my business cause it wasn't needed. I really appreciate his honesty, as he was the only one of the business that I requested estimates for through Yelp projects that gave me this information. Thank you!!! read more

I contacted this company through the Yelp app and they responded immediately. I talked to them over the phone later that day and they came out the very next afternoon and got rid of our wasp nest that was in the ground. It's completely gone and I haven't seen a single wasp now. They had great fast service! read more

We suddenly had dozens of yellow jackets entering 1 room of our home. Had no idea why they suddenly appeared. A family member is allergic to bee stings, so this was an emergency. Bee Control NW came out same day, within a few hours. Their tech climbed our very tall house to find the entrance point and spray what was needed to make them stop. Totally fixed our emergency same day, and for a reasonably price. Would recommend them to anyone having a bee / wasp problem. read more

Wonderful service. Nice people! Got the job done quickly and at a reasonable price. Thank you so much!

We emailed Bee Control Northwest, including a photo of the insect in question. We had recently noticed a bunch of little holes being dug out in the dirt between the cracks of our backyard patio. We were worried about yellow jackets, especially because we and our dog spend a lot of time in the backyard. We heard back promptly from Bill Ruhl, the owner, and was so helpful and informative! He asked some questions and said he didn't believe we had yellow jackets because, if so, we'd be noticing constant activity outside the holes and many of them. Instead, the thought the insect could be a solitary wasp, and not a danger. We really appreciated his time and expertise. We are now armed with what to look for in regard to yellow jackets, and know who to call if we find any! read more

Friendly, great communication, got rid of my yellow jacket nest in 15 minutes. My new go-to pest control company.

Extremely knowledgeable and resolved problem same day.

Showed up quick, killed the underground hornets nest fast! Cheaper and safer than those soapy water screen door hornet nest videos on YouTube (I tried it. Didn't work). Excellent price and service! Thrilled with the results! read more

Called these guys last week about some bees making a home in the wall by our front door, and some wasps by the back. Bill's son (sorry, forgot your name!) took a good 20 minutes to get a handle on my concerns, because for medical reasons we can't use pesticides around our home. Bill came by same day and took his time to explain what each type of bee and wasp were, and what sort of behavior we could expect if we left them alone (i.e. whether they would be aggressive and hurt us). Barring dealing with them chemically, Bill physically broke up the home the bees in the front were making, and closed up the holes that had allowed the bees to enter. He also got up on a ladder and smashed the paper wasps by the back, and, though the queen in a second location got away from him, he explained how and when to go after that nest as well. As first time homeowners, I didn't know anything about any of this. Bill also took some time to explain what to look out for in our yard in case yellow jackets start appearing. I was really worried that a bug guy would show up, roll his eyes at me about the pesticides, and not offer any non-chemical solutions to our problems, so this was such a pleasant surprise. Will definitely call again if needed. Incredibly educational and a bargain for such excellent service! read more

I just had an incredibly positive experience with Bee Control Northwest. I had a large yellowjacket hive under the eave of my roof and needed help because I am highly allergic. I called and chatted with Kelly at 9:35am this morning and by 10:30 Rob was at my house and had the entire job taken care of by 11:00. This was after getting the runaround for a week from another local company (Pete's Pest Control ). I can not recommend Bee Control Northwest highly enough. Really appreciate the great service and will call them immediately if I have issues in the future. My sincere thanks to their team for being so professional. read more

Wow! I am so happy I reached out to this company! It is so nice to talk to people that not only are extremely knowledgeable and caring about their work, but caring about what is best for the people reaching out to them for help. Bill spent a long time with me on the phone (on a Friday evening after normal business hours no less) explaining to me what was going on with my wasp situation and discussing what my options were. Based on his advice, I decided to hold off on extermination. It is truly so refreshing to find a business that is not just looking to make a quick buck by taking someone's money who is less knowledgeable about the situation. If this does become an issue later on, I will definitely seek out their services. Big thanks to Bill and his wife for helping me out in my time of need! read more

This company is fast friendly and professional. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I had a wasp and hornet issue, and they had it under control in an hour. Highly recommend! read more

I called about killing a yellow jacket nest that was going to get in the way of installing a heat pump. They had someone come out the same day even though it wasn't an emergency. It only took the guy about 10 minutes to check out the nest and apply the powder, and just like that the job was done. read more

These guys know their stuff! Bees gone within 24 hours!!! They also are bee keepers and gifted us with a bottle of their most delicious honey. read more

I realized this morning that the "monster nest" I had in my backyard rock wall was not bees as I thought but yellow jackets. I emailed Bee Control Northwest around seven, got a response by eight, went to work at nine, and when I came home at five Bill came over to kill off the nest. He was kind and knowledgeable, and he went out of his way to show us preventatives for next year instead of letting us get re-infested. Six stars if I could give them. read more

Bee Control Northwest should be the model to how all service businesses do business. Prompt, responsive, polite, and most of all professional... with a touch of humor. read more

This guy was amazing knew everything about bees literally told us they would quietly disappear within two hours and he was exact. One year warranty on his promise definitely recommend to anyone read more

Bee Control Northwest was excellent. I called and described my problem to a lovely woman on the phone (I suspect this was Bill's wife) who listened to my issue in detail and then took the time to educate me on the different types of insects prevalent in my area, how to protect my home and when I needed to call for help. She was on the phone with me for almost 15 minutes and I learned so much! It was clear that she, Bill and everyone associated with this company know their stuff and care about doing the right thing for the customer. She even said, " I probably spend more time teaching people about these things and talking them out of spending money than I do actually scheduling appointments." Bee Control Northwest is a true gem in a world too often filled with deception, con artists and unreliable workers. I hope to never need their services again, but if I have an issue, I'm happy that now I know exactly where to turn. read more

Very quick, professional and friendly service. I had noticed one nest that was in hard to access location. Bee Control NW was out the very next evening. They found four nests, got rid of them and gave me a detailed update on the work completed. I was very pleased with their service. Highly recommend! read more

Excellent! Very knowledgeable and helpful, recommend to anyone having a bee, wasp, yellow jacket problem.

Bee Control Northwest was professional from the initial phone call to the extermination of the bees! I am thrilled to have used them and would recommend them to anyone that is having a bee problem. I called this morning around 10:30 am and they came to my house by 2:00pm! Fantastic. Bill advised that the bees would be dead in about two hours. He also guarantees the work for a year which is great. I loved that he walked around the rest of my yard to check to make sure that there were no other hives that I might have missed. Thank you again Bill and Bee Control Northwest for being professional and speedy! read more

The man on the phone was very helpful, and Bill Ruhl, the exterminator, was in our area, and came very promptly - less than 1/2 hour - after our initial call. He reviewed the bees nests that were growing, sprayed them, and knocked them down, and gave us good advice on what to look for in the future (April-May are the nest building months). We were super pleased! read more

I unfortunately used this bee control company and got totally ripped off. After getting a quote on a service call witch they said was $65 dollars I was charged $215.00 just for showing up in addition to another $315.00 remove a bee hive. I was never informed of the additional charges until I received the bill of $530.00 in which case I would call another company. I would never use this company, there policy's are totally dishonest. read more

Gentleman on the phone was very friendly and helpful when I called in the am. Called back in the afternoon and the bee expert was at my house within a half an hour. He was friendly, VERY knowledgeable, and took care of the issue quickly. He gave us some scary info on the type of bee so we are beyond thrilled to have them killed. Their work is guaranteed for a year, too! Of the three people working for this company I interacted with, ALL of them were wonderful! I would definitely contact them again in a heartbeat- hopefully I don't have to though! :) read more

Friendly, fast, and efficient. My husband discovered a yellow jacket nest in our compost pile. I called Bee Control Northwest and Bill was out that day. He is incredibly knowledgeable and personable. The price was fair and he guaranteed it for a year. He also helped look around my property and pointed out spots that may be attractive to yellow jackets in the future to help us avoid having this problem again. I can't say enough good things about this company. Thank you, thank you, thank you! read more
