Well, he told me none of my vents were screened, told me all the covers on my less than year old home were plastic. Fortunately I had my home inspection for my 1-yr warranty the following week so I decided to wait to see what the inspector said so I could have the builder cure anything possible. Absolutely zero evidence of anything having been in my attic, zero entry points. Inspector confirmed the covers on the vents are metal and not plastic and that every single vent is already screened. I'm not sure what the guy from A-Tex saw but I trust my inspector more. Just to be safe I had another estimate from a pest company done and they confirmed what my inspector said. Very disappointed and confused about what feels now like a scare tactic with this company. I've never experienced a critter situation before so I felt trusting but now I know to get a second opinion for stuff like this always. I'm sure they help people but my personal experience will keep me from considering them again in the future.

While the service was of acceptable quality, the experience of dealing with something that should be a simple understanding of circumstances changing was not. The person I spoke with was named TJ, and I'd recommend his employers have a conversation with him about how he represents their business.

My bf knew of Dr Faye, so I reached out to him .. while it cost us more, it was worth it since he used an organic compound (took care of granddaughter few times each week). He did such a great job he was able to 'rescue' a piece of furniture with sentimental value + there was no need for follow-up treatment! Fast forward to 2019 ... bed bug scare at current residence, called Dr Faye, he came .. said no bed bugs (whew!) and charged fairly for his time. The owner/operator of the company, Dr. Faye, came to our house to do a survey of our (roach) problem and explain his methods. A PhD entomologist with international credentials! An extraordinarily knowledgeable man who is most generous in sharing his expertise. My wife and I learned so much, and enjoyed his visit...his treatment of the house was quite thorough and the materials used (which I believe included proprietary blends of a number of natural oils or extracts, as well as some other products which are considerably safer than most of the poisons customarily used by the chain exterminators) left a pleasant odor behind; and so far the treatment seems to have been very successful.
