Also, Some of the stores are gone and some may follow after being told this by other store owners or managers at this mall location. Selection at this mall here is far and in between of private sellers in the middle of the mall and name brand stores. Also do NOT forget this mall is for sale even though its still open to the public for people to come walk around the mall area. I wonder if this mall did sale what would happen to this mall over time since the management changes and this mall being for sale for a pricey dollar. I wonder if new stores would come to this mall or stay away. Who knows.

It is common to wait in line for long periods of time while the store is fairly empty in both the main store and the separate men's department. Unfortunately if you are in this part of middle Georgia and looking for a department store shopping experience Belk is as good as it gets. Prices are reasonable when there is a sale. On my most recent visit on a Sunday 30 minutes before closing time. I stood in the check-out line while the person in front of me was being rung up. There were two associates and 2 registers. I assumed one register was closed but after 5 minutes of waiting the other associate says "come on" signaling me to come to the register for her to ring me up. No greeting just a "come on" and will you be using your Belk card. I've never worked at Belk but I'm pretty sure following that question you are supposed to ask if I want to open one up. The answer would have been no, but still she was very rude. I only come to this location when I have to purchase something that I don't have time to wait for in the mail or travel to Macon to get. This Belk has the worst selection of women's clothing and home items amongst any I've been to and is very unorganized. Surprisingly the men's department is decent and well organized. Next time I will drive the extra 30 miles to the Macon location where I always have a positive experience.

Speed is not something they value here. You have what I'm assuming to be the manager giving customers dirty looks and just standing/ talking to what appears to be friends or on her phone being lazy - she has barely any eyebrows. She also will give the average customers attitude and has no customer service skills at all. The other employees are very pleasant, kind, and hardworking! Their "sale" selection does give you the actual price of the item, which is annoying. Other locations will have the markdown price on the tag. I'm a big American Eagle shopper but I'd rather drive further away or shop solely online than come into this location ever again.

I took my Mom Christmas shopping to buy gifts with her for her kids, grandkids and great grand…read morekids. This year she decided on getting everyone shoes, all 23 of us. We walked in to the store and told the associate we'd be buying 23 pairs of shoes. They explained the layout of the store since we needed shoes from all sections from toddlers to mens! Every time we picked out a few pairs an associate was there to take them up to the counter for us until all our choices were done. The associate who rang us up helped to make sure we were signed up for the rewards program and was sure to ring our shoes up so we saved as much as possible with the buy one get one half off deals. Once our purchase was done 2 associates carried our bags to my car for us. Mom and I had an amazing experience today at this location. Everyone was excellent from beginning to end!
