One thing that made this Bed Bath & Beyond interesting and well worth the trip was the Global Market Food Selection. I remembered years ago-- Bed Bath & Beyond had a variety of interesting goods that you couldn't get at regular supermarket. Sadly, as of January of 2021-- the grocery food selection doesn't exist. Highly disappointed. In addition, the store is a mess. Makeup and skincare section is messy. Shelves are littered with dirty Lysol wipes, empty beverages cups, opened makeup products and food wrappers. It's truly a disgrace. The store lacks variety as well and the items in clearance looks like returns that people had wore and returned (ie my mom picked up black black slippers that she really like and it was dirty on the bottom and sticky). Anywho, I guess I will no longer return to this location. Not worth the trip. read more

Looks like a totally self check-out store now. There was a line at what is really the customer service desk of people that didn't feel like using self check-out. Sales people seemed out of sorts - kind of defensive of the self checkout lines when asked about them. There must've been many complaints. Self check out in one or two aisles sure, but the whole store? The shelves were not well-stocked. Went to get something off a registry that was shown as in stock in Totowa but after riding up there, sadly it was not. The young man that helped me was very polite and he did look in back and on display because apparently his records had it being in stock. read more

Was sent to this location for an item I was looking to purchase as a gift. Upon arrival and walking to customer service, the employees were very helpful. I requested my item and they promptly went to look for it. The employee found my item and confirmed the color I wanted. I requested a gift receipt and the employee quickly processed that as well. Overall, my visit to this store took no longer then 10 minutes. Highly satisfied. read more

This "Bed, Bath, & Beyond" is huge! There is actually so much stuff in this store, I would recommend the drive to anyone. We had our wedding registry here, and most of the items were actually cheaper here than from Macy's. Bought an item that came in a damaged box and was being sold as is. The sticker on the box said that the only damage to the item was the packaging, so we bought it at the discounted price. After returning home and opening the box the item inside was shattered, completely unusable. When we returned a rude manager told us they wouldn't accept us to return the item or offer us store credit. It was a cold interaction, and we tried to explain that the only damage listed was to the packaging, not to the item inside. I find it hard to believe that when they are selling an item in a damaged box they wouldn't check to make sure the item itself wasn't damaged first. Absolutely terrible customer service. read more

Great bed bath and beyond location! Situated right off 80 and 46 and easy to get to. Spacious and well organized with a lot of items in stock. They also have a world market section, and it's worth it to go to this location for that alone. They also have free samples/do product demonstrations on weekends. read more

Came to this location on a Sunday since the Paramus one was closed. I came here looking for a duvet cover and there were many options to choose from and many on sale. There was also a sample of a cocktail mixer which was interesting to try. The lines were long but moved quickly. Purchased some brownie brittle we saw during the line-yum! read more

Bed Bath & Byond often have promotions, and on top of clearances and sales, people should consider buying from here. It might be cheaper than ordering online. Service was great for Easter Sunday. There were people by the entrance and in their cars waiting for the store to open at 10 am yesterday. Employees were stationed throughout, greeting and asking if you needed help. Since my sister, mom, and I knew what we wanted and where it was (because these stores are well labeled), we didn't need help. The place is stocked with beauty supplies and food products as well. Parking is pretty ample but they do share a lot with Buy Buy Baby. read more

I always go in just to browse and end up leaving with a ton of stuff I can't live another day without. Be warned: lines are always long on weekends. As always the store is stocked with everything you could possibly need and the staff is friendly and it is convieniently right off Rt 46. However the prices are out of this world. For a new Metal garbage container, bed set on sale, bath mat and towel, and two yankee candles the price came to $250. We had wanted to get a vacuum but were tapped out as it was so the vacuum will have to wait. But we will be back. read more

I called this store after reporting to my bank that my credit card was used fraudulently to purchase items at this location. The store representative was not interested in me telling them of the issue. She continued to laugh it off and said I should call their 800 number. I thought I was going above and beyond to let them know that visa is going to reimburse me for this fraudulent purchase and they may want to look into it before they ship out the items. I was wrong. ok I want to update because I was here again today and this is a really nice and big bed bath & beyond. When i was here at Christmas it was whatever typical store and I was distracted cuz it was crowded and overwhelming but I really like the way this store is laid out and the staff are all super super friendly. I was there today and the store was immaculate and well organized. I needed a new immersion blender cuz I broke mine today trying to make a protein shake. I used their website to see if they had it, they did, so I went. I noticed that they have a whole new gourmet food section in place as well. Not super affordable but if you want a treat why not. Got my blender, they took my coupon dated 12/26 because according to the cashier the mailed ones don't expire. Who knew? Good for me! Anyway I felt I owed them a bit of a better review even if it is just bed bath and beyond. read more

The associates in this store are always so helpful. I just bought a Breville air countertop oven from them. Breville is having a sale now at multiple stores. None of them will let you use a store coupon in addition to the Breville sale price. The exception is BB&B. I saved an extra 20% off of the sale price, even though Breville is supposed to be excluded, according to the coupon. I saved about $70 extra, when you count the tax. The associates helped put it in my cart. They even offered to put it in my car. They are super pleasant and helpful, and their coupon policy is the best. read more

I was in the store today, 2/27/19. The service was terrible. There was one register open and about a 20 person back up. Everyone was complaining. Other staff members were observed on the floor, even having casual conversation. I waited 10 minutes before being called to the only open register. Get it together people. I'll be going to a different store from now on as this is not the first time. read more

I just received a Pending charge on my bank debit card from store #651 in Totowa NJ. When i did a search for their phone number to call them I found numerous complaints going back years on fraudulent charges made at this store. How could this possibly be going on without the owners knowledge or their involvement. I called the main number for BBB and they are sending in for a refund. read more

I always go to the BB&B in Totowa. I seldom have a problem finding help, but today, February 26, 2015 was a really bad day there! No matter what department I was in, there was no one around to ask questions to. I waited for someone each place I went and no one arrived. One very nice man, Will, said he'd help me if I could wait, but I really couldn't. Tom is also very helpful, but, of course, in his department. I went to check out with what was in my basket and couldn't believe there were only 2 cash registers open and the lines were way too long to wait. I put down all that was in my cart and LEFT! Later on, I called the 800 # and they were extremely difficult to deal with. They kept apologizing and said that had to email my complaint! I needed to speak with someone right then and there and was told that's the way they do things. I would have purchased several hundred dollars today, but instead walked out because of lack of sale's people! Get busy BB&B and hire some workers! read more
