Delivered only one of the 2 identical items ordered. Hold time when I call is the worst. They told me I'd receive the other item 2 days ago. Didn't happen. Not Friday, Saturday or today. They don't even follow up. I've been on hold for 25 minutes now. Oh someone named Jazmine just answered, no last name given. I asked for her location - answer is nowhere; asked for employee ID. She doesn't have one. Told me it's not their fault and I need to call UPS because it's their fault. I told her that they need to call UPS because it is their shipper and they need to follow-up. She said they cannot do that so I asked for a supervisor. Would you be surprised to know that there are no supervisors available? She claimed someone will call me tomorrow. I won't hold my breath. I am writing about Bed Bath & Beyond where I purchased online a product sold by Shelter Logic which was a Margaritaville Cooler. A $200+ outdoor cooler was sold by them under that brand name. Because the product had been purchased as a gift and was out of warranty, they referred me to the importer, Shelter Logic. They were kind of enough to reply that the unit was out of warranty and I could try some waterproof epoxy to fix what is an obvious manufacturing problem. This is the worst company ever! I have a gift card that has no expiration date. I went online to use it, and it doesn't work. I called customer service which is a joke. She said, I couldn't redeem the gift card since they went bankrupt and new owner's. I asked to speak with a supervisor and supposedly none was available. However, it's still under same name. So, I wonder how many people lost out on using their gift cards. I would leave no stars if I could. read more

I purchased some high-end towels for our master bathroom from Bed, Bath and Beyond. The day before they were delivered, I noticed that they went on sale on the website, so I called customer service to ask for a price adjustment. I was told that the towels went on sale after I purchased them so they cannot adjust my purchase price. I asked to stop the shipment or process a return, and they wanted to charge me $20.66 to process the return. Because of their return and pricing policies I will never purchase from BBB or Overstock again. ...and Bed Bath & Beyond is back providing little no customer care with no concern for its loyal customers pre and post bankruptcy. I ordered 2 sets of the Finch Jackson Bar Stool Set. Unfortunately, I purchased them in February for a March move-in date. My move-in date got pushed back to May 11th (new construction) so the stools remained in their box until my actual move. Stools don't work. Too short. Bed Bath & Beyond's response: "since this is outside of our 30-day return timeframe, our partner warehouse will not be able to accept this return." It's important to note I requested an exchange or a credit. Not even a refund of the over $300.00 spent. In each instance I was met with a HARD NO! Instead, I was given the manufacturer's phone number to reach out to them about my circumstances. I did that, and they said, too bad so sad, you need to go back to the merchant. So I did and when asked for a customer service manager to consider an exception to the return/exchange policy, I was told, they don't have one. This is BBB's way of coming back from bankruptcy. In short, the message I received loud and clear is that they care about my money, just not about me as a customer. I have spent upwards of $1,000.00 towards my new home at BBB. Well that stops now. BBB and Overstock are no longer an option for me not because of their merchandise, because I genuinely love their merchandise and the variety of it, but because their merchandise comes without a modicum of customer service. I now have $300+ in stools that are useless because they can't think outside the box to keep a good and loyal customer. Wayfair here I come! read more

I purchased an $1800 queen Murphy Bed in April. The item was finally delivered on May 15. By clicking a link on their webpage after the order was completed, I contracted someone to assemble the bed and cabinet. After the first "handyman" was not able to complete the job, I hired another found on Thumbtack. That young man was excellent. The problem with the assembly and the product is that it has many pieces and their "owners instructions" are by icons, no direct instructions in English! After the assembler spent 8+ hours putting most of the bed together, by the time he attempted to install the pistons, they would not release. They appeared to be "frozen" I called BedBathBeyond customer service and got an agent from an overseas country that had a difficult time understanding my issue. The replacement parts were delivered 5 days later and it took another 7+ hours for the bed and cabinet to be completed. The product is weak and cheap, as well as probably more than 100 pieces to put this ridiculous puzzle together and the crummiest instructions and customer service. I have tried repeatedly to talk to a management team member who would have the ability to make decisions. Still have not had any success. Bottom line: DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM BED BATH AND BEYOND THAT HAS TO BE ASSEMBLED!!! read more

Absolutely disgusting. I went in with my boyfriend to look at comforters and curtains for our bedroom but decided to use the restroom before we started our shopping. I went in saw the state the bathroom was in and walked out of the store completely. Whoever is in charge of cleaning these bathrooms needs their job re-evaluated. Everyone knows how great Bed Bath & Beyond is and how accommodating they can be, but they surpassed my expectations. I recently purchased a new Keurig 2.0 coffee maker from Bed Bath & Beyond. With the new 2.0, there are new pods to use, which means it is not compatible with the older version of the pods. Last week, I went in to the Bed Bath & Beyond to get some Vue pods which I was told would work with the new machine. One of the associates verified this for me. Unfortunately, what neither of us knew is that there were last generation and current generation Vue pods on the shelves, with the only difference being a small yellow check mark on the box to tell the two apart. When I got home, the pods I purchased didn't work. (Last generation) I reached out to the store to see about an exchange. Here is where Bed Bath & Beyond (and this store in particular) went above and beyond excellent customer service. They set up for me to come in to talk to Brandon, the store manager. He was expecting me when I arrived today. He personally guided me to the section and helped pick out correct pods and then do what he could to make the situation right. I won't go into the details, but trust me when I say that it went further than I was expecting. I was only hoping for a simple exchange, but Brandon and this store proved what an amazing store this is and what excellent customer service should be. This store and Brandon should be commended. I was already a fan of Bed Bath & Beyond, but after this, I am a loyal customer for life. read more

While this store is neat and typically well stocked, just had a very unsettling experience here. Yes the staff seem "friendly" but coming from customer service experience I could tell that they were employing 'aggressive customer service' to attempt to deter shop lifting. I'll set the scene. My 13 year old sister and I were literally walking around the store and I took some pictures of items I may want for my apartment I am moving into this coming weekend. Employees literally followed us from area to area, with two employees literally following us out of the store asking us 'how was everything' etc. We had no bags, and coffees in our hands. Now I must ask, how on earth is it needed to follow two people completely out of the store when it's obvious since you literally followed them that they didn't steal. Beyond rude. read more

We went to the store, and well.....it was right at the front door! super easy shopping for that item which was the only thing they wanted.
