I love Bed, Bath & Beyond but the stock and variety of products were awful. Lots of shelves empty. Wonder if they will be closing soon?

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My plumber installed a Triangle…read moreTube boiler purchased from Ferguson when we built our house. 4 years later it developed a leak in the heat exchange unit that ruined the boiler. Despite having a 10 year warranty on the heat exchanger Stephanie from Ferguson informed me that they would not be able to warranty the unit. Then after several phone calls from myself and the plumber she told me I should remove the heat exchange unit as that is all they would be willing to honor under the warranty despite the rest of the unit and electronics being damaged from the water leak. So it is January with temps in the single digits and I have no heat and no hot water in the house. I have no other option but to purchase a new unit from them, so I put it on my credit card and schedule the plumbers to put it in the next day when it will be delivered. The unit is delivered from Ferguson in an opened box and on the side it is marked "Damaged". Upon opening the box I discover their is a layer of dust on the top of the unit and that it has obviously been smashed and banged up and had been sitting in their warehouse for a long time. I send it back and wait a week for another unit to be delivered. Meanwhile the original unit with the leak is sent back to Ferguson to ship back to Triangle Tube under the warranty and several weeks pass. Stephanie calls my plumber and tells him he has to come down and remove the heat exchange unit to send back. I call her and tell her that a new heat exchange unit will do me no good as the entire unit is damaged and needs to be replaced and I've already put in a new unit so I don't need a damaged unit with a new heat exchanger. She says she will not ship the entire unit and they will only warranty and ship the heat exchanger. To top it off she informs me that they will charge me storage fees if I leave the unit with them until the issue is resolved. I then had to get an attorney to write some letters. Triangle Tube, when contacted, agreed to ship the entire unit and upon inspection did issue a credit to Ferguson for the entire boiler honoring their warranty. It in now July and Ferguson has yet to refund the cost of the boiler to me under the warranty despite several phone calls and emails. I will never to business with them again.

But over the past couple of years, they have continually charged her for services they didn't do. She knows her heating apparatus better than anyone. She watches what they do, and they have consistently charged her for services that they did not do. They were at her house 4 times last year. The first time to do the yearly service in October. My mother sat there and watched the guy the whole time. When she received the $230. bill, which stated they cleaned heat exchanger, flushed heat exchanger coil. She knew they didn't clean or flush anything. They came to the house 3 times in December. The first time (7 days after the service in October) there was some kind of fluid on the. The guy reset the water heater, never checked the code to see what was causing the leakage. This came to a charge of $662.54 because they charged for overtime. The second time out (13 days later) They did check the code. They reset the ignitor and charged her $207. The third time out (13 days again) They actually replaced the ignitor! Why was she charged for this? They should have fixed it the first time! These four visits costed my mom $1,245.72. Mom is on a limited income. She is not the type to complain, and would rather skimp on other things, so she could pay these bills. My husband called them again in March. No response. Left them a couple of messages and started looking for a new company to come out to check what the problem was this time. He found a great guy out of Bayfield. Prompt, knowledgeable and willing to explain the problem. And didn't charge mom an arm and a leg. These are the kind of people that we should be supporting. Not some shysters here in town!

I was told she would get ahold of the tech on call and have him contact me. Never happened. I called someone else and they came right out. I don't know how they stay in business.
