We were a tad late picking him up because the train was running behind but they said it wasn't a problem and we got him just in the nick of time. They even allow dogs to spend the night, if the train is late, free of charge!! Since I don't speak dog I can't 100% say how Smax enjoyed himself but he seemed tuckered our and happy to see me at the end of a long day of playing! I highly recommend this place for pups because they are very affordable, friendly staff, and located right down the street from the train!

When I arrived, she was not in the location I was told she would be. When I walked into the area, her kennel was empty -- and the only other kennel was wide open and empty as well. In that moment, I genuinely thought my dog had been stolen. No staff member was present, no signage, no explanation. I had no way of knowing whether another dog had already been picked up and mine taken with them. I stood there panicked, thinking the worst. Only later was I told that there was never another dog in that second kennel. But how was I supposed to know that when both kennels were empty and no one was there to help? The lack of communication and the careless setup caused unnecessary fear and distress. My dog was eventually located, but this experience was unacceptable. Clear communication and secure, supervised pickup procedures are basic expectations for any boarding facility. This place failed to meet them.

We were in Durango to take the Durango-Silverton narrow gauge steam train that…read moredeparts Durango shortly after 8am and because this place is not in town we had no choice but to board the furry friend for two nights so we dropped the pooch the night before the trip When I called from Silverton I was told that because he is very submissive and non aggressive they were going to isolate him for the night so others wont make him feel as scared with all the barking. At the time they were only open until 6pm so knowing the train arrived at 6 there was no way we could be there to pick him up the day of the trip so that is why we paid for the second night, and I see now that their hours have been extended until 7:30pm , when we got there the morning of the third day and they went to get him, it took a while for the handler to come back but when the handler finally came with the dog we were surprised to see that the dog would not stop complaining very loudly and when I took him outside he had me use three poop bags and gave me the impression he had been holding for a whole day or so. He peed like he had drank a litter of water all at once Apparently nobody checked on him on the other side of the building where it was more quiet. He complained all the way back to where we were staying like we have never seen before, he made a point and I promised myself not to ever board him anymore anyplace, you never know how well they communicate with each other. Firstly, she brought her two large dogs to my apartment complex, which are not allowed to begin with. The dogs kept barking very loudly before and during handing over my cat to her. She botched his fur and shaved him so short on his body and left his face and tail untouched. She shaved him so much shorter than what we discussed. Then, I thought she had a wrap of some kind with open leg holes to work on his nails, but actually was just holding him down on a metal table. He looked so scared and uncomfortable. When she brought him back up to me, she proudly announced that she found out my cat was a girl! Ridiculous. Even after telling her the paperwork I received from the Humane Society and surgery information, she still proclaimed that his testicles area was a vulva...... Apparently to her, the people at the Humane Society "mess up all the time." I have a female cat who is 6 months old. You can tell with your eyes and looking information online to know that their genitals look and are located in different areas. My two year old cat she looked at is most definitely a male with obvious evidence that he had testicles. I have no idea what she was thinking!? Wish I could give this a ZERO star review. Very annoying encounter and would not recommend this woman to give your pet a grooming service!
