Firstly, she brought her two large dogs to my apartment complex, which are not allowed to begin with. The dogs kept barking very loudly before and during handing over my cat to her. She botched his fur and shaved him so short on his body and left his face and tail untouched. She shaved him so much shorter than what we discussed. Then, I thought she had a wrap of some kind with open leg holes to work on his nails, but actually was just holding him down on a metal table. He looked so scared and uncomfortable. When she brought him back up to me, she proudly announced that she found out my cat was a girl! Ridiculous. Even after telling her the paperwork I received from the Humane Society and surgery information, she still proclaimed that his testicles area was a vulva...... Apparently to her, the people at the Humane Society "mess up all the time." I have a female cat who is 6 months old. You can tell with your eyes and looking information online to know that their genitals look and are located in different areas. My two year old cat she looked at is most definitely a male with obvious evidence that he had testicles. I have no idea what she was thinking!? Wish I could give this a ZERO star review. Very annoying encounter and would not recommend this woman to give your pet a grooming service!

We were in Durango to take the Durango-Silverton narrow gauge steam train that…read moredeparts Durango shortly after 8am and because this place is not in town we had no choice but to board the furry friend for two nights so we dropped the pooch the night before the trip When I called from Silverton I was told that because he is very submissive and non aggressive they were going to isolate him for the night so others wont make him feel as scared with all the barking. At the time they were only open until 6pm so knowing the train arrived at 6 there was no way we could be there to pick him up the day of the trip so that is why we paid for the second night, and I see now that their hours have been extended until 7:30pm , when we got there the morning of the third day and they went to get him, it took a while for the handler to come back but when the handler finally came with the dog we were surprised to see that the dog would not stop complaining very loudly and when I took him outside he had me use three poop bags and gave me the impression he had been holding for a whole day or so. He peed like he had drank a litter of water all at once Apparently nobody checked on him on the other side of the building where it was more quiet. He complained all the way back to where we were staying like we have never seen before, he made a point and I promised myself not to ever board him anymore anyplace, you never know how well they communicate with each other. Poor dog

The front desk , ( especially Carol!) , the vet , were all patient and courteous , the vet was very professional and knowledgeable, took her time with my dog , examined him thoroughly and assured me that he seems fine. They even gave me a courtesy call 48 hours later to check that all is ok with my dog . Fees are very reasonable ! I highly recommend this facility!

Getting over the holidays, planning a trip, and sick from food poisoning - I head down to them and give them as many details about the situation that I can. To which the "vet" whom we don't normally see - interrupted answers to her own questions, didn't bother looking at his charts, made us both extremely uncomfortable. When she suggested taking him to the back to clip the area, my dog reacted - as well as I. I could tell by her energy I didn't want her alone with my dog. Sure enough he gets on the table to he looked at, in his butthole so he is nervous and she's shouting "sedation sedation". After getting it trimmed, she tells me he has a tumor. As my eyes water up because my 8 year old Aussie has been just diagnosed with a tumor she asked me, why I'm crying? I go on to answer this stupid question and then say, what's next. "Well surgery, do you have any questions?" I think I lost it then, I had many questions to which she wouldn't have cared or answered in my opinion. With no answers or previous information on tumors, to belittle and be condescending on someone trying to get an idea of what to do when this was a completely unexpected turnout. We immediately left, switched vets, and I have told everyone I can about this. I will beconsistently be warning people of this place.

Mercy had been on the tail end of a bad hot spot break out due to allergies and one of the spots on her face had broken open again. I had heard the girls answering the phones telling people they had no open appointments until the next day. My appointment was just a run back with a tech but I asked if she had any advise on how to treat the hotspot. Dr. Hamilton offered to fit us in for an appointment. I was not expecting such a wonderful, caring staff and doctor. I am so thankful they saw her, Dr. Hamilton perscribed a new antibiotic/seroid spray that seems to be working a miracles! I highly recommend this vet! The prices also seem to be half what I pay in Dallas.
