We hit it off and I left feeling good about my prospects - I had resigned from my previous job almost a month before, and was starting to get a little antsy, but after our meeting I felt reassured. Come to find out, Luke is the manager of this whole branch and still takes the time to meet with candidates, which I really respect. I'd never worked with a staffing firm before and didn't know what to expect, but Luke put me at ease by walking me through Ultimate's process. At the end of the interview I recorded a brief "Video Select" interview video which he intended to show to employers, which I thought was pretty cool because I wouldn't have to drive all over town for as many introductory interviews. As I left he told me he was going to submit me for a $16-$18/hr Customer Service position he thought would be a good fit, which sounded good to me. However, the next day, I called him and explained that after some deep thought, I'd realized that I wanted to go into talent recruitment myself - I told him how impressed I was with Ultimate and asked if they had any internal positions. Things moved quickly from there and I started about 2 weeks later! One of my favorite things about working with Ultimate is their special focus on making every experience remarkable.
