She could easily overwhelm someone who is uncomfortable with strongly opinionated women, but she is an incredible listener and is not afraid to keep a patient's diagnosis a fluid one. She also gave me referrals for a psychiatrist and a marriage counselor-- when the first marriage counselor didn't work out well, she gave me another referral that did. She was recommended to me by a friend, and I've recommended her to my own friends and family. She is a Christian and that does influence her world view and style of therapy, but she does not only treat other Christians and is adept and skilled enough to keep religion out of sessions when necessary. Personally, being a Christian, she is the first real Christian Psychologist I've ever seen, and the experience has been life-changing. So many times I've been forced to keep my religious views out of my therapy sessions, but I just can't divorce my mind and my spirit like that. Other Christians who have just been "counselors" or "therapists" were not skilled enough to deal with the depth of my problems and ended up doing more harm than good. To say that I TRUST Dr. Taylor is the greatest vote of confidence I could ever give to a doctor, and I do.

Jade Adair, my step sister's therapist, told the front desk to not let me schedule with my therapist at a time when my stepsister had an appointment. Despite my efforts to repair my relationship with my step sister, They treated me like I was some sort of villain and made it difficult for me to schedule therapy when I needed it. They should have scheduled her around me if she wanted to be there at a different time then me if that's what she wanted instead of discriminating against me by not allowing me to schedule with my therapist at what was her available and my available times when they let anyone else schedule when they want. If someone doesn't want to schedule at the same time as someone they don't like, make them change their schedule not the person who is willing to work through things in therapy because they always feel like they're disliked.

Self Care + Mental Health Wellness =…read more Steffani Roller, LPC LCDC with Conscious Healing Counseling Taking care of our mental health is SO IMPORTANT & speaking from personal experience, I know that having a great therapist to help guide you in working through any issues/life stresses/emotional roadblocks/ect that might be keeping you "stuck" in your mental health journey is a MAJOR part of that self-care, so I just wanted to share my feedback w/ you about Steffani Roller (Conscious Healing Counseling) just in case you are on the hunt for a new therapist because we all know that "sharing is definitely caring" :). I initially met Steffani almost 2 years ago (early 2021) after I was looking for a new therapist w/ a different therapy style/approach than the therapist that I was seeing at that time. My previous therapist, who I had gone to for yrs (as needed) was/is great & I would highly recommend her but I was starting to feel like I needed a change w/ the approach/style of my maintenance therapy sessions so that's how I came to meet Steffani. She was on my list of in-network providers on my insurance (United Health) and I just reached out to her via email steffani.chc@gmail.com Steffani's therapy "style" was EXACTLY the new approach I was wanting. :) I felt comfortable & at ease w/ her from the get-go. Sometimes, when meeting a new therapist it can make you feel like you are "unpacking" all of the emotional baggage that you may have already worked through all over again when explaining things & bringing your new therapist up to speed and I used to dread that part (ugh!)...I never felt that w/ Steffani. Her approach is so refreshing because she definitely has a therapy gift w/ making you feel empowered when you leave your session w/ her. I appreciate how Steffani's approach is to address the CURRENT issue that I'm dealing w/ at the time when I go in to see her & how awesome she is at guiding you to see that current issue/life stress/emotional roadblocks/ect in a different, more positive light than what you were seeing it for when you 1st walked into her office. So not only do I leave her office feeling much lighter than what I was feeling when I 1st walked in, there's the added bonus that her office is located directly across the way from one of my favorite stores..Target. Which means, that I get to do a little bit of "retail therapy" as well! ;))) FYI, there is on-site parking..both at Steffani's office AND at Target. ;) To sum it up, whenever I'm in need of extra assistance w/ getting my mind to be "quiet", it feels really awesome to know that I have Steffani Roller, LPC LCDC w/ Conscious Healing Counseling in my self-care mental health toolbox & I highly recommend that you add her to your "toolbox" as well. Till next time, ~Rebecca

So when I found Anita's ad through an internet search, I was doubtful, but willing to try. My goal was to move forward in my life with dreams that had lived in my heart for decades but just could not work on them because the beliefs about myself were so deep, they felt as if they were in my DNA. I was elated and stunned when after the first session I was able to start my work to reach my goals. Previously, I literally felt sick to my stomach when I thought about doing the work. After three sessions, I have a regular schedule working on my goals and enjoy the work! I have been in some type of therapy for 4 decades and nothing really shifted the beliefs that were under my self confident exterior. Even though I had earned multiple degrees and was successful in many areas, the belief that I was a "joke" and it would be dangerous to do anything that would bring attention to me, drove my choices, I never, ever felt good enough.
