I asked for an acrylic set, french tip with chrome. i showed reference photos and she just went for it. i couldn't see my nails 90% of the time she was doing them because of their covid plastic screen in the way, a piece of wood was perfectly in the way of seeing my nails. I was also trusting she was NOT really doing what i thought she was doing which was building the french with white acrylic. I was praying she'd do gel to fix it or something but holy crap. and they are SO uneven. bumps and lumps and rough spots. she also filed after she put the top coat so there's parts that are not protected now and she put oil on my cuticles while there was filing debris all over my fingers. This salon came so highly recommended so i had no doubt they could deliver a classic french set.... cried all the way home over this

No big deal, you trust that they know what they are doing. i have been having my hair done professionally for years. i could tell that her technique was sloppy and I questioned everything. When she was finished I thought it didn't look bad at first. Until I got into my car and started looking closer. there were so many errors, I was devastated. I have never had someone mess my hair up so badly. I contacted the owner and she did offer to fix it. At first I was willing but the more I thought about even stepping foot in that salon, I had a pit in my stomach. I had another girl from a different salon correct my color , and she was appalled by the errors and lack of a pattern, the color choice for my root, etc, etc. I paid $170 for the color at Blondies ($140 + $30 tip) like I said, I initially didn't think it looked bad. Then I paid another $200 to have it corrected. I asked to be issued a refund in which they denied me. I didn't want to be a pain or cause problems but this is unacceptable. I understand that we all start somewhere but the fact that it wasn't made right, especially considering my hesitance on ever stepping foot in there again. Is cause for concern. if you have a fresh out of school stylist who is representing your brand, you make sure she sends her clients home happy and that she isnt ruining anyones hair. I am sad to say that it has completely jilted me and I will never be back there. I hope that this is a major lesson for Abby and the owner.

However, the man working there (or maybe he owns the place) was rude and made her feel so stupid. So unnecessary..she felt embarrassed to realize she'd booked at the wrong nail salon. We have happily gotten her into another nail salon so she's ready for prom! Don't bother with Stellar Nails & Spa. I only gave them a one star rating because it wouldn't post a zero.
