I am crushed. I never go to salons ( I can ruin my hair at home for free) but it's my birthday next…read moreweek and I wanted to do something special and look good. Caitlyn was very nice and lovely to talk to but she destroyed my hair. I have included the before, reference and after pictures. I could tell she knew she had messed up and just kept cutting. After every round of thinning and snipping and thinning and snipping, she kept saying, "now that looks a little better" or "I'm starting to like that more." The bottom layer of my hair is thinned so much it is practically gone, taking away so many options for a redemption haircut that could look anything similar to the reference. She obliterated my bangs, they are so small and the same length as the top layer of hair she cut. Somehow even though I spent the whole appointment telling her "please don't make my hair round", "I hate round hair." "My hair does not look good rounded" it somehow got rounder and rounder with every cut. When she was done she said it "looks like that because it's not styled" and proceeded to hot iron it and try to give it style. It was still awful and she knew that. She tried to put gel in it and it did not help at all. Then she said the issue was that she "blow dried it with a round brush" and that we should wash it again and give it a more natural dry so it "looks more like the picture" the after photos I have attached are with that natural dry. At the very end as I was leaving she told me to wait and that she "missed a part" and went in for at least 5 more snips at the back before I said I had to go. I left crying and went to another salon to see what could be done to salvage it and they audibly gasped when they saw how uneven the hair was and recommended I reach out to the owner because this was "not okay." When I emailed poppy with these pictures asking for a refund, they said the best they could do was Caitlyn offer me a "complementary second cut to fix up some areas I'm unhappy with" and claimed my hair couldn't possibly look like the reference and it would if it was styled. She tried to style it and it only made it worse. She will not be touching my hair again. I have had bobs like that before, I KNOW my hair is not unable to look like that and that this reference picture was very obtainable for my hair type and length. 65$ more poor and I look like a coconut. My birthday is in 5 days and I cannot look in the mirror. UPDATE: When I spoke with the owner of poppy, Rach, she was incredibly accommodating and understanding. She got me in ASAP for an appointment with her and fixed my hair up. I loved that she stopped every step of the way to talk about what I thought. I was also given a conditioning treatment in addition to her fixing my hair up. She worked hard to make everything right. Rach was fantastic and I am MUCH more into my hair now!

I wanted a wolf cut with frosted tips, what I got was so atrocious my new stylist has recommended small claims court. I paid $250 + $50 tip because I was almost made to be late to work after telling her repeatedly that I needed to be done by 4 that I didn't get to check it, AND she told me to come back so she could "fix" it for free. After checking it at work, I cried for 20 min. It is that bad. So I told the stylist I wanted someone else to fix it. Apparently, being honest with your bad experiences will cause the owner to crash-out, send you patronizing emails about "expectations" and "disrespectful" language when no one was called the names I had rattling around in my head, in addition to telling you, "I hope you have the day you deserve" and banning you from the store. Oh, and the stylists will spend the entire time complaining about their personal problems to you like you're there to "fix" them when the reality is you're trapped in a chair while they lament how hard their lives are and out of politeness, you'll just smile and nod. Feel free to visit, but they'll take your money even when they know they goofed.

She was really easy to talk to, and talked me through the whole process. The salon is so cute too, there's so many details in the rooms. No big deal, you trust that they know what they are doing. i have been having my hair done professionally for years. i could tell that her technique was sloppy and I questioned everything. When she was finished I thought it didn't look bad at first. Until I got into my car and started looking closer. there were so many errors, I was devastated. I have never had someone mess my hair up so badly. I contacted the owner and she did offer to fix it. At first I was willing but the more I thought about even stepping foot in that salon, I had a pit in my stomach. I had another girl from a different salon correct my color , and she was appalled by the errors and lack of a pattern, the color choice for my root, etc, etc. I paid $170 for the color at Blondies ($140 + $30 tip) like I said, I initially didn't think it looked bad. Then I paid another $200 to have it corrected. I asked to be issued a refund in which they denied me. I didn't want to be a pain or cause problems but this is unacceptable. I understand that we all start somewhere but the fact that it wasn't made right, especially considering my hesitance on ever stepping foot in there again. Is cause for concern. if you have a fresh out of school stylist who is representing your brand, you make sure she sends her clients home happy and that she isnt ruining anyones hair. I am sad to say that it has completely jilted me and I will never be back there. I hope that this is a major lesson for Abby and the owner.

She is so incredibly helpful about my skin concerns and is always kind, friendly, and thorough, even on days when she is stressed or upset. She gets to know your skin better at each appointment, so you can rest assured that she will only use products she knows will not trigger any severe sensitivity. And on top of all this, her prices are reasonable and fair. As a bisexual woman, I can vouch this is an LGBT+ safe space. I always feel welcome and cared for here, which can be hard to come by in Idaho.

Her installation was a matted mess and started coming out 3 days afterward. She charged me for Bellami hair, yet sold me some used hair scraps. She also charged me for overnight shipping when Bellami offers free 2 day shipping. (50.00) The extensions did not arrive overnight and when asked a tracking number she told me the order number was all she was given. All lies. When I went back to her with concerns of the extensions falling out she told me it was my own hair that was falling out and offered to pick up some Nioxin, L'anzia and some oil for me at the supply house. She quoted me $160.00 but when I got the products they were not what we discussed and she only got me the trial size bottles. She also told me I gave her a $60.00 tip which was absolutely ridiculous to assume. Who tips 60.00 for only products. She is scandolous and threatens people when they complain about her work I have been told. Although she never threatened to beat me up, she has threatened two other clients of hers who reached out to me through a post I made reviewing her on a social media platform.
