I'm basing my review off other nail salons in the area that charge the same or similar price for the services that I had done. I was a walk-in customer. I had an errand to run in the area and decided to last minute get my nails done. I had regular nail polish on my nails from painting them myself, three different colors (two of them were shades of green). Upon walking in to the nail salon, Annie greeted me immediately, confirmed that she could do my nails right away and helped me choose a color. Annie was very nice, friendly, and made great conversation. Unfortunately, that is where my pleasant experience ended. Annie cleaned my nails but left behind some of the dark green polish. I didn't say anything at first because technicians from other salons usually file or buff out any polish that is left behind. Once I realized that Annie did not get off all the green, it was too late because it's basically cured. I'm not sure the proper terminology for when dip nails are hardened. I asked her to remove the green and she had to use a cuticle clipper to try and cut out the green polish. You can see in the photos that there is still green and she didn't get it all. She would have had to redo my nails completely. I've also add a picture of what my pointer finger looks like because it's already chipped. This is on my left hand and I'm right hand dominant. Unfortunately, I will not be going back and I do not recommend this nail salon. I'm giving two stars because of how polite and friendly the staff was, but I am disappointed in their results. The staff here is super friendly. More so than other salons so that's very nice. The spa pedicure was good. Will return.

I have been going to Bebe twice a year for a long time (my rare treat for mysel). I am usually satisfied, not always a great job but never as bad as today was. My daughter and I had 4 pm appointments. They started on my daughter at 420 but not me until 445. There were 7 people in the salon with 3 techs. 2 walk ins and 2 other appointments after that. A woman who walked in at 415 was started before us and then was finished before us. She said when she came in that she had to be out of there by 515 they said no problem, so apparently that gave her priority. We were there 2 hours! It should have only been 1. Definitely a rushed job. Not a good job at all. We will not be returning. You need to have more techs on, write down your appointments because you definitely over-book yourselves and let walk ins know how long their wait will be while you finish those who do have appointments. Take pride in your work and you're business will thrive. Techs are very pleasant but that only goes so far. read more

I'm giving 2 stars because the woman who gave me my pedicure was amazing however, the man who did my fingernails over filed all my nails and they all look crooked. He cut my fingers multiple times and I started bleeding and after having just gotten them done, they already look over two weeks grown out. If you go to him, make sure you don't breathe too deeply otherwise he'll yell at you to stop moving. read more

Look no further! Bebe Nails is a hidden gem in West Chester. I read the previous reviews about Bebe and I couldn't DISAGREE anymore with them! I've been going to this salon for almost 10 years. Annie provides the best services and she keeps the salon very clean. I typically come in for a pedicure, gel manicure, and waxing. I have always gone to Annie. She goes above and beyond to make myself and all of her clients happy. The pedicures here are really relaxing, try the spa pedicure out! It include a lot of extras that the basic doesn't. There's a callus treatment which works wonders on my feet because I'm an avid runner. It also includes a sugar scrub as well as a eucalyptus mask which helps with my dry skin during the winter and prevents my eczema from flaring up. What's also special about this salon is that they use hot rocks for the massages, it doesn't get much more relaxing than that! I consider myself to be a very "picky" client and Annie is always very patient with me. She makes sure that the gels are exactly to my liking and they always grow out beautifully. I get compliments on my nails every where I go. Annie also does a great job with the waxing. She is very careful when applying the wax, tweezing the eyebrows, and clean up job afterwards. I am happy to say that I will be returning to this salon and am excited that I will be celebrating 10 years with Annie this summer. Try Annie out, you will not be disappointed. She is the BEST in town and she goes above and beyond to make sure that you are satisfied with your service. She is also really friendly and loves to talk! Prices are insane. I was charged $20 for them to change the nail polish on my toes. The staff is extremely slow and does not seem to care to make you wait. Waited over a half hour while one nail tech was sitting while a customer soaked their feet. My polish change took 10 minutes which I expected. Just got my nails done here- they charged us double what they had listed on the website and the quality isn't even close to worth the money. I went with a friend and we both got acrylics, and both of us received incredibly thick nails and some of them were uneven. My friend's nails were bumpy as well. My friend got longer acrylics than I did and so they arbitrarily charged her an extra $5 despite the set price of an acrylic manicure on the website. Thought we'd try this place out because their price listings were so cheap, but not only is a cheap-level manicure, the prices aren't even correct. Would not come here again, please save yourself the money and the trouble, there are so many better places you could go in the area. read more

They charge you $40 for a full set. I've been here a few times, because it's just convenient after work or when you need to get nails done last minute. First time, awful. Lady was rude. Rushed me. Bubbling at the top of my gel acrylics and offended when I asked her to fix it-she just made it worse. She manhandled my hands. Next couple of times were just a refill from Bebe after I had already gotten a full set from a place back home SEVEN weeks prior that does an amazing job-my nails were still perfect, just very outgrown. To get the refill, I came back to Bebe. Bad paint job, lifting not that much of an issue since I already had a solid base from my nail place back home. The problem came when I needed a full set (gel acrylic) from the beginning three weeks ago --not a refill. I came to Bebe. First, uneven paint job yet again. The paint didn't go to the sides of my nail, leaving my natural nail exposed on the sides. Their response ?! "Paint isn't supposed to go all the way to side"...didn't happen ONCE but each time I've been here. Anyways, the full set from the beginning that I got three weeks ago started to lift after FIVE days. I run my fingers through my hair and a few of my nails CATCH. Ow!!! To make things worse, the glue or gel or whatever is caking up/yellowing on the sides and very much visible. Go if you can't get in anywhere else--but be prepared to argue and pay close attention--only then will you maybe get the result you want. Even then, your nails probably won't last as long as somewhere else in West Chester. Better off paying 10 bucks more somewhere else. read more

I only give this place 1 star because I have to. I recommend you not going there at all. I only went after my friend warned me to not go since they made her bleed last time. First off I called ahead and asked for a 6:45 appointment. I walked in and instead of getting greeted they looked at me like I was an inconvenience. The woman took two different ladies before me. They didn't start to do my nails done until 7:15. I wasn't complaining about that. The acrylics that they have is on a popsicle stick in a vase so it's very hard to even look through to find a color. I finally picked out a light purple with a little bit of shimmer. It's definitely NOT the color I picked out. Again, that's not the issue at hand, it was a cute enough color that I wasn't going to make her look for another 5 minutes without finding the right color. (They definitely need to improve their colors and the organization). Then I start to dry my nails. I went for my wallet and realized my nail was still wet. I asked politely if I could keep it under the dryer a little longer and she said "no you done. You pay". I still had multiple fingers with cotton and nail polish still on when I left. I live less than 2 minutes away so this SHOULD be my go-to salon, but the service is awful every time I give them a chance. They make a mess, get polish all over my skin and under my nails, and they never clean up the cuticles. When they do dip powder nails, they dip everyone's fingers into the same plastic container - no way that's sanitary. And it's not like they're cheap, their prices are the SAME as nicer, cleaner salons. I've given them a fair chance (several), but I'm never going back. read more

I had some time to kill before meeting a friend for dinner so I went in to get my nails done at Bebe Nails for the first time. I got my usual manicure with gel polish. The technician who did my nails barely spoke to me (which isn't a big deal) and between drying, she would go lounge in the pedicure chairs and watch tv. That part was odd to say the least. But most of all, the quality of my manicure was awful - streaky and bubbly. She just didn't seem to care about the quality of her work. Disappointed that I paid $30 + tip for sub-par service and results. This is the worst nail job I've ever had. Nails are crooked, polish doesn't go to the end of my nails, some acrylic goes to my skin. The only way to fix it is to soak them off and start over. I don't recommend going. I got dip with tips. My nails are very uneven, they refused to make them shorter, my nails are bumpy and the tips are lifted off my nail, and my skin was filed into until i was bleeding. Then they just glued my wound shut which is probably not very sanitary. Tried this place recently while visiting the area. Only two employees were working. I had a gel manicure done but technician kept getting up very few minutes to attend to other customers and tasks. A few other ladies got pedicures started during my manicure. The tech would paint a coat on my nails, paint a coat on someone else's nails, answer the phone and then pretty much repeat; bouncing all other the place! The results were sloppy and rushed and my cuticles were all torn up afterwards from careless, unnecessary cutting. I hadn't read review before trying this place, which is on me. I'm in the area again this weekend and will give another salon a shot. read more

However, they were all over the place due to not being properly staffed. So what should of not two and a half hours....did. I was charged $8.00 dollars extra cause I wanted coffin shaped nails (never hear of such nonsense before. Was also up charged on the pedicure for dead skin removal. Honestly! That is a part of the pedicure process at my normal salon. Which is actually great at half the price. Horrible place. I gave 1 star only for their pedicure services. I went their for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. Pedicure was okay but my manicure turned out very ugly. I had shown her a picture for a beautiful two-tone french tip that I wanted with different colors for my courthouse wedding and she ruined it. Firstly, she misunderstood what I showed her and then I explained her again and showed her the picture again but she did not do a good job. My nails looked horrible. It was such a waste of money. It would have been better if I just applied a nail color myself at home. Apart from her services, there were a few other customers so she was in a hurry to finish up as soon as possible and she removed unnecessary cuticles from my thumb and it started bleeding which of course she just ignored and did not even apologized for it. Wow, if I could give zero stars I totally would. I had an appointment to get my nails done at 4:30 & I arrived 5 minutes early then they had me wait 20 minutes before the started me (Apparently only one girl does atypical nails there). I got a refill and asked them to freshen up the shape of my nails. I asked for coffin shaped nails and came out with half of them looking square, and one filed 2cm shorter then the rest. To which the lady doing my nails laughed and said "it can be only us who knows" instead of correcting it even after asking twice if she could fix it. She claimed she couldn't fix it because she had another appointment waiting, & on top of al of this my pinkie nail broke in half tonight! I can't believe I paid $30 for a refill when I'm going to have to go to another salon so they can actually do what I asked for & do it correctly. I went here and was the ONLY customer-all I wanted was a toe trim,shape,and buffing. After having to say no to the ups sells--manicure,pedicure,the nail tech spent oh,two minutes trimming and filing. I said could I have them buffed. She rolled her eyes and asked me to walk,barefoot,across their floor to another chair for an electric buffing. I asked for flip flops and she rolled her eyes again and I had to explain I wasn't going to walk barefoot on their floor. She then put the buffer on THE FLOOR while she looked for a towel to put over the trash can I was told to put my foot up on! She Then rinsed my feet and said ok you done--I had to ask for a towel to dry my feet to put my shoes on. A regular customer was on there by that point--I can't fathom the have people actually return to this salon!! When I got home I took my socks of and saw jagged,uneven edges on my nails.
