I came here for a fill after the set I had previously got here didn't last. I was happy with the design of my nails however within 5 days one popped off and within the week they were lifting. I hope you guys will take my review seriously and personally. All of the bad reviews on here are unfortunately true. The owner and manager of this location is Cindy Nguyen. Cindy not only discriminates against people of color, but she also treats her employees horribly and inhumanly. She doesn't let anyone pick up the phone because she wants to control the narrative. She will purposefully make people of color wait longer to be serviced even if they walk in first under the disguise of "scheduled appointments". That is why she picks up the phone and not make the appointment list transparent to the customer or manicurists. I am taking actions to report this location for sanitary purposes as I have slipped a few times. AND for unfair treatment of employees. If you can understand Vietnamese and listens to the way she talks to the manicurists, you'd be fuming. She is constantly yelling and talking down on the manicurists as they are doing nails for the customers - which in turns make the experience for customers like us of getting our nails done seem less meticulous and not a relaxing experience at all. To give you a few examples, (1) she is constantly pressuring a time limit on the manicurists to finish so if your full set, gel manicure, or pedicure are ever poorly done then please know that is the fault of Cindy. (2) I was here getting my nails done, and saw her going through one of the manicurist's personal belongings and shamed her in the middle of the salon over the brand of her nails supplies. (3) She plays favorites and proceeds to distribute customers unfairly to her employees as she wishes. IF YOU CARE ABOUT BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS, PLEASE GET YOUR NAILS DONE ELSEWHERE. read more

I am a women of color and they were being very discriminatory or rude to me. I read one review on here that the women are talking about you in their native language which I truly felt. My experience was horrible not because of how uncomfortable they made me feel but how they do not like listening to you wants and needs , only want to pick what they want so they can get done faster. I wanted full acrylic nails, I do not like gel-x because my nails/ skin reacts terribly to it once the weeks go on, they tend to hurt and the durability lacks. I specifically told her I want acrylic powder with a clear top coat. She kept telling me do I want medium nails, I'm thinking its about the acrylic size. She then tries to put gel-x on me, I told her no I don't want gel X, she said oh ok, then proceeded to keep trying to convince me to do gel-x I had to say no twice. From there the service went down hill because she had an attitude she couldn't take the easy route to do my nails. We get to the part where I need to cut the acrylic extension, she cuts the first finger and it looked fine but then she rushes and does not even measure the other fingers and they were SO MUCH SHORTER than the FIRST one she did. I kept staring and it didn't look good, so I nicely told her I don't think I can do this length, it seems too short. She had the biggest attitude and kept YELLING at me RUDELY stating it's medium it's medium, I then said no it seems shorter - we need to re-try. She takes off the tips and retries- she's still yelling at me saying what size what size, I told her to slowly move the device and I'll tell her. I told her the size I wanted she then THROWS MY HAND BACK and says THAT TOO LONG. After that she's roughly does my nails pulling my arm hard. I have cuts on my fingers that hurt bad she NEVER said SORRY about because she wanted to roughly do my nails since she was mad. I believe she cut me on purpose because I never had technicians HURT ME this bad. My nails did not turn out good, I had to go home and REFILE ALL OF MY NAILS and REAPPLY A BETTER GEL COAT. The older lady with one eye and the glasses who does pedicures is a RACIST BULLY. Whole time she is talking a bunch of mess laughing and looking at me and POINTING AT me. She seemed very racist, bully, and unprofessional. She was also very rough throwing my feet down instead of gently. Again I am a woman of color and these women were immorally disrespectful. I asked for their names and they did not want to give it to me because they knew I was going to REPORT them. Love how this store is located close to me and the name is Bebe ! I get my nails done regularly from this cute but small store. It isn't extravagant but the workers are nice and they do the job well ! I like how they have a flat screen tv to watch while you are doing your nails. They also have magazines but I like how they have really good movie selection! Yes they have up to date current movies on here. I have gotten gel and regular nails from this place. The gel is amazing it beats a of places and I would suggest coming here to get it done. :) If you have never done gel it is the greatest gift, the nails dry super fast, you don't have to worry about opening your car door after getting them done. They are hard like a rock and they last for a really really long time!! They have a lot of different colors I like French and sometimes I'll go with a nice wild color like hot pink or glittered. I have been coming here since high school and I always got my nails done by Jenny!! Anytime I have an emergency or I went to a different salon and they messed up my nails, I could always count on Jenny to fix them. Now in my 30s she still remembers how to do my nails. I had gone to 2 other nail salons and they couldn't squeeze me in, so I decided to try Bebe Nail hopping they were open during COVID and they were and Jenny was there again to save the day. Been coming here for over a year, and my last few experiences have been horrid. at first o would wait over an hour (even with an appointment) to be seen because the Cindy did my nails was with someone else. I only stayed because she really did a great job. I eventually stopped coming because every time I had to wait such a long time. There were even instances when the nail technician would leave and do someone else's nails. Today was my last visit. First off, the guy Edwin (I think that was his name) was rude as heck. Who has that kind of attitude at 9:30am?? I asked him if Cindy was available and he said she wasn't in. then I asked for Angie, but even then he said she had an appointment. Then, the quality of my manicure was awful. my nails are crooked. I have to go home and fix them. Also, you can see that she used a course file on my nails, so there are some fairly deep scratches which I also have to fix. The lady who did my pedicure was nice, but unfortunately not great enough that her service outweighed the poor quality manicure and attitude received from Edwin. So after all that, I tried to make an appointment to see Cindy and he was like she's on vacation. I asked if she was going to be back in 2 months, and with a negative tone he said "what do you want me to do? Angie is good you know her." So she is obviously not working at this location. Horrible horrible job! They charged me nearly $40 and within 2 days one of my nails fell off, it's been a little over a week now and I have 3 missing nails! They didn't cut my cuticles at all so my hands look super unkept, and the edges of my nails are starting to raise up so they look old and tacky. I went to sleep last night only missing two nails and I woke up and the third was gone. Yeah I would definitely not recommend this place they are crooks! Another thing, they started on my nails and then left me to work on someone else after they had glued the fake nails on. I sat there for about an hour with long nails and I had to go to the bathroom the whole time, and I couldn't because of the nails. This place is a sham I would suggest saving the extra money and going to a real nail salon. read more

I just got my gel nails done 2 days ago. Now, I'm impressed they have gel option here, but it was very different from the type of gel nails I get done in LA. First off, it wasn't in powder form, instead looks and applies just like regular nail polish. No skills really needed here. The UV light machine was so dirty, old, and was gunky inside. It was kinda gross having my hands in there. The girl applied 2 clear gel coats on my left hand and only 1 coat on my right. And I just noticed the white tips chipping a bit on my right hand. Left is fine. I guess 1 more coat makes a big difference. It's still shiny though. I paid $25 for my spa mani and pedi + $15 for my gel nails (hands only). Pricing is comparative for now. I have to see how long my gel nails last. As for the mani+pedi...it was fine. A-ok. Nothing spectacular. The massage was weak...I'm sure I can find a $20 mani/pedi that does the same work. BUT they have OPI, Essie, China Glaze polishes...so that justifies it. This is my only option for gel nails for now since I no longer work in LA. The upsides: I don't have to fight traffic, parking, or make an appt. I think they're open on Sundays too, which is a plus in my book. read more

I came here with my vietnamese friend (who is naturally darker so they never know she can understand them) they said one customer was fat and her politeness makes up for her fatness, they said another girl was only there because her parents must've paid for it, they said my friend was too dark she looks ugly and the nail color looks horrible on her. I have becoming here for 14 years and I will not go to any other salon. In the beginning I tried other salons but nothing compares to their work here. I have been with Jenny for my nails and Tran for my pedicure. Yes, they get busy here and sometimes move from people to people but, they always ask you before they hop to someone else and it's usually something small like paint another customers toes. My nails & toes last me about 6 weeks I've never had a nail break or nail chipped. I've read some of the reviews on here and I think some people confuse their salon with another Bebe nails because there is no male that works here. I will to continue to come here until Jenny or Tran retires. read more

My daughter went in to have a nail fixed (ONE nail), there was only one other customer inside, & they turned my daughter away telling her to come tomorrow, because they were closing soon. It was 6:05pm & they close at 7:00pm. You're telling me they can't fix ONE nail in under that time? This already the 3rd time they've turned her away to have a nail fixed. Guess they make enough money to not want our money, so I will gladly no longer be coming to this salon...along with 5 other of my family members & about 4 of my friends I've recommended to come here. Update: I will not be returning here anymore, they have gotten sloppy with their work, I've given them multiple chances and the last few times my gel manicure started bubbling and chipping within a few days. One lady was very rough when clipping my finger nail cuticles, she cut me pretty bad then blamed me for having "dirty" cuticles. I am sad to say that the service has gone DOWN HILL. The last two times that I have gone in (WITH an appointment) I have had to wait 15-20 minutes. They take EVERYONE that walks in, which is great, UNLESS you are the one with the appointment. Example: I had an appointment with Trahn, she sat me down to remove my gel nails and immediately started giving a walk-in a pedicure. Leaving my sitting there until my fingers got pruney. At first I didn't mind, because she does a really nice job on my nails, but when it happened again last Tuesday.... I had had enough. There is no reason that I have to be there for more than two hours because they are trying to CRAM as many customers in as possible. She sat me down stuck my fingers in the hot solution, then walked off to give someone a pedicure, I asked, : YOU AREN"T GOING TO LEAVE ME HERE?" She said, just a little while. When they noticed that I was getting upset, they sent someone else over to work on me. I told them that I made an appointment with Trahn, FOR A REASON, and didn't want the other girl. They left me in the chair another 10 minutes. I got up washed my hands and walked out. If you have the time, go there, but if you are a person that ACTUALLY has a schedule, don't bother. I went into Bebe Nail & Spa on 03/31/2011. I made my appointment the same day about an hour before for a manicure, with Tran. I had heard from a co-worker that she was the best at gel nails, and she was right. I've only had gel nails once before this time, and the first time the application was a little different(at a different place). Still, my nails came out great. I had chipped one of my nails the day before which sucked because I was trying to grow them out to have short to mid-length french tips, but the way Tran applied white tip made it look uniform to the rest of my nails. What I loved the most was... the price! I paid $25 for my french tip gel set. At other local nail salons I know they're usually in the $30's. Got gel mani & a reg pedi for $37! Tran was great and the other ladies were just as sweet as she was! Very calm and clean shop. No rushing people out and no upcharging. Always asks before they do anything extra/additional. What Original Friday's couldn't do, Tran did it for me here: she didn't have to electronically sand my nails down to the thinnest point to put the gel manicure on and she put a pretty pink on me that won't show any yellowing of my nails for having my nail polish on for weeks! The girl next to me yelled out of pain because they weren't paying attention and they were cutting her nails. I've been here 3 times thinking the first two times were just bad days for them, but no. Affordable, and they take credit card which is so helpful. Always friendly and I love that that they play movies. It's hard to page through a magazine if you're getting a mani and I get fidgety. The movies pass the time. I also appreciate that they ask me first if I want additional pampering and don't push when I decline. I've been to other places that add iitems to my bill without asking and then communicate the extra things they did for me, even though it was not clear to me that it would cost extra. Bebe folks show you a list of services and prices and ask you to choose. They even confirm with you to make sure they understand what you want done. I've also been to places where they try to talk me into other services, and especially when I bring my daughter, that gets expensive. So if I say "no thank you" I mean no thank you. Bebe folks might ask just to see if there is interest (a flower design for example or callous removal) but if I decline I don't get pressured. I want to relax when I get a spa pedi. That's why I go - to pamper myself. It's not relaxing if I'm constantly trying to figure out what service is being snuck onto my bill. I like Bebe because they allow me to relax, watch a movie, sleep, and get done only what I want done. Along with affordable and the credit card option, I'll keep going back! read more

The shop was full, so I waited to see if I could get a gel mani since I figured I had been there before. No one looked up to ask why I was there , and of course they knew I was there for a service. I waited patiently to see how long their poor customer service would continue. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, waiting for at least acknowledgement. Only found out about this place because I saw a woman with beautiful nails-- the kind where they are so natural looking, they must be white polish on their natural nail (maybe a thin acrylic coat on top). So I asked where she got her nails done-- and presto! I stumbled upon Bebe Nails & Spa. They accept walk-ins, but since my work schedule is a bit odd, I went ahead (googled) and called to make an appointment. The woman who worked on my nails was punctual, the place is medium-sized, easy parking in the parking lot (sort of across from the Seafarer Inn restaurant, where Jordan and Whittier Blvd intersect). She was meticulous with my nails and was careful not to do more damage to my very weak natural nails. My boyfriend even noticed my nails this time (acrylic w/ white tips, gel) and was wowed by how natural they look. He really likes them. It's not the cheapest place ($23 for a full set, $15 for refill, +$5 for gel, yikes!), but it's definitely not the priciest, either. I'll be back for sure! read more

I was just in there and got a pedicure. It was the worst pedicure I have ever had. I had an appointment at 3 pm and they didn't start it until 3:45. When they finally started my pedicure they just rushed through it and did a horrible job. They left callous remover on my feet for 15 min and when I said something they just started talking in Vietnamese to each other. Horrible experience never going back. read more
