EARNED MY LOYALTY! Wow, I was surprised to read so many negative reviews of this Hyundai dealership and service center, but I have to say my experience(s) were the complete opposite. Both with the dealership and now with the service department, I had nothing but good experiences. After reading some of these reviews, I have to say that while everyone knows how tiresome and frustrating purchasing a new or used car can be at a dealership, that a lot of these reviewers seemed to come into the situation with a predisposed attitude. I personally learned a lot before I went in from https://caredge.com (and no, this isn't a paid testimonial.) If you truly want great service, there are two words you need to remember... Daniel Rega. This was my service advisor, and he was both patient and extremely helpful with my issue. My appointment was booked through Bluelink because I was having connectivity issues, but when I got there, they said that blue link doesn't tell you how long the wait would be or how many cars are before you. So initially, that was a little frustrating, but when Daniel asked what specifically was wrong, he told me that I could either leave the car for several hours or come back another day for possibly a 2 to 4 hour wait. He then called his tech to see if there were any quick resolutions that could be had. After downloading some documents, he put everything else on hold and went with me to my vehicle, and spent the next 20 minutes getting everything back online. It took a few tries, but he was patient, and dedicated. Yes! I will be back. They have earned my loyalty. I read through many of the negative reviews, and a few of these reviews indicated that the people writing the negative reviews hadn't done their research very well, nor had they communicated their issues well. I have previously left outstanding reviews regarding service at this location. However, my experience today was disappointing: I called this morning on my way to work, as I noticed smoke coming from the back of my car, and also advised that the heater was only blowing cold air. I explained I was working a half-day and could come in anytime after 12 pm. Given the potential safety risk, I was concerned it could be something serious, such as a head gasket issue. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was first told I could not be seen until Monday because diagnostics are only performed in the morning, so I accepted the earliest available appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]After calling back to emphasize concern about driving the vehicle, they were able to schedule me for 10 am today, requiring me to take unpaid time off work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was advised the issue could be serious and that the vehicle would need to be kept for inspection, with follow-up by 3 pm. I was also quoted a diagnostic range of approximately $109-$225, but it wasn't clarified as to why such large cost difference. If I had not taken the initiative to call back, I could have seriously caused extensive damage. And as I was pulling into the service department, the overheating audio was blaring (which it had not done previously- so the issue was escalating. I purchased a 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited less than six months ago. Within that short time, the vehicle experienced the same hybrid system and transmission failure THREE times, all with under 3,000 miles. This alone has made me question the safety and reliability of this vehicle. During the first breakdown, I called roadside assistance by phone, but the tow truck never arrived. I was forced to wait over four hours in a random parking lot until my husband could come pick me up. The vehicle was not towed until the next day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The most recent incident on 2/8/26 was the worst. My husband and I were on what was supposed to be our last babymoon trip to Pacific City, and the car became disabled in the rain, far from our hotel, in an unfamiliar area. What should have been a meaningful and joyful trip was completely ruined.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]After contacting roadside assistance, I reached out to Hyundai of Beaverton for help with a rental car or guidance. These statements contradict each other. Either I was misled about my message being delivered, or given false information about management. Last week I bought a used minivan from Beaverton Hyundai. After going back and forth with the salesman, and after they tried to lowball me by three thousand dollars on my trade in, we eventually settled on $19,000 for my 2023 Acura Integra instead of the $16,000 they first offered. We then began negotiating the out the door price, which is the price you pay after all taxes and fees. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The finance manager, Julius, finally came out and said we could not make a deal and that he would get me my keys.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Before he returned with the keys, the general manager, Jae, came out and we shook on an agreement of $8,500 out the door. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After waiting almost another hour for the finance manager to draw up the paperwork, I went into his office and saw that the total had been raised to $,8995.60.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was four hundred ninety five dollars and sixty cents more than what we agreed to, and he claimed the increase was due to taxes and fees. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Note that there were four people sitting in the lobby who were employees, no customers, and no one was in the process of letting me know what was going on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It had been ready since the night before. I asked what had taken so long, and they said it was software updates. Unless they're sending data over an RS-232 cable (bandwidth measured in kbytes), that's utter crap. I'm a computer engineer and I cannot imagine a car taking that long to update the firmware. We recently bought an older model van with very low miles. I was told the van was in great shape, all the needed to do what an oil change and put new tires on it. It did look great- but on our way home felt a lot of vibrations in the steering wheel. I thought the tires were off balance. Nope- after having it seen at Les Schwab, I was told the tires were from 2013 and had broken tire belt inside. We are lucky we didn't have a blow out/catastrophic accident. The salesman I was working with printed off the quote which I have attached and I scheduled my mechanic to come do a prepurchase inspection. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The next day as I am driving with my father in law to the dealership I get a call mechanic saying that they refused to let him see the vehicle as they needed to take it into the shop for repairs. He said they were rude to him and as soon as they realized he wasn't a customer were uninterested and cold[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Since I was already on my way I figured I would stop in and see what was going on. I ended up talking with Rick in sales and he reiterated what he told my mechanic. When I asked him what was wrong with the vehicle he said he didn't know. We talked with him about how unprofessional this was as I had set up an appointment for a prepurchase inspection and no one bothered to inform me that they decided spontaneously that this wouldn't be possible.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Later in the conversation he said it was still at the dealership. When I asked if I could see it he said, no. Also a red flag. At this point he decided to mention that he actually did know why it was in the shop, the sunroof stopped working. I told him that was fine and that I was still interested and he said he would call me as soon as it was available. Call to schedule a service and they denied it to me because the previous owner bought it from them with a weld on the rear door and didn't tell them that was going to be deemed as reconstructed title and now they denied regular maintenance service, even thought they have done maintenance there. They talk to me like I was not understanding. They were rude and racist. I call Hyundai Gladstone and they were nice and no issues. I will never buy Hyundai again. We were considering purchasing either a Toyota or a Hyundai. We ended up at Beaverton Hyundai because we got such bad treatment at Beaverton Toyota, right down to the unpleasant salesperson, with bad attitude, and the first senior salesperson, who sold the car we were very clear about wanting to buy, right out from under us. No one ever apologized. From the first moment at the Hyundai dealership, it was night and day difference.We were enthusiastically greeted by our salesman, Joel Iwanaga, who was amazing to deal with from start to finish, WAY above expectation!! He was kind, respectful and very knowledgeable. He made the whole process surprisingly easy, I didn't think it was possible to buy a car with no stress.The 2023 Santa Fe we bought was gorgeous and spotless, with 5000 miles on it. We were very satisfied with the price after being presented with a 2023 Highlander with over 63,000 miles at the Toyota dealer, brought to us twice, dirty and full of garbage, for just a little less money. I am not kidding. The Hyundai has a 100,000 mile,10 year warranty and won Kelly Blue Book Best 2 row mid-size SUV. At Toyota it felt like they didn't care if they sold us a car or not. At Hyundai, Joel (and everyone) treated us like this was the big deal it is and actually made it fun. In the end, one more signature was needed and Joel brought the paperwork to us. Again, no stress, at a very stressful time in out lives. We appreciated Joel and the whole experience and could not recommend Beaverton Hyundai more enthusiastically. I've read all the reviews, all the negative comments and I feel like some of you may have just terrible attitudes. We've never owned a Hyundai, however we're interested in the Santa Fe Hybrid; so we stopped here. We walked in and weren't swarmed, once eye contact was made Joel introduced himself and asked how he could help. He was extremely helpful, kind and polite. Listen to all our wants, our concerns and offered advice. We test drove what we wanted and left for the day. Joel simply smiled, said it was a pleasure meeting us and if he could do anything in the future please let him know. Little did he know we not only loved the car, but absolutely loved the service provided by Joel. So after talking we came back the next morning. Met by the smiling Joel, who thanked us more times than I can count simply for coming back. He took us for another test drive just so we could be sure, his idea not ours, so we obliged and it just reaffirmed what we wanted. The deal was done, and I can't say enough good things about it here. From Joel, who I 10/10 recommend, to Michael who is the finance guy, Ali the sales manager and Michael the manager for used car lots that took our trade in, were all AMAZING! Service Department: Very poor, neglectful customer service, and inadequate repairs. My partner had her Hyundai Elantra stolen after the installation of the security upgrade Hyundai suggested specifically to install to prevent theft. They ALMOST NEVER answer their phone lines for service and you can't even leave a voicemail because their inbox is full. When we confronted the manager about us not being able to reach him over the phone, he gave much pushback. We trusted the dealership to do a complex repair since it was the manufacturer and not a third party. The steering wheel was partially damaged during the theft and the driver door lock was busted. Having gone through all this, we wish we went with anyone else instead!! The experience of the theft and retrieval of the vehicle was better than getting the repairs done! It took two weeks to pick up the car, and we realized the turn signal arm wasn't bouncing back after completing a turn. The signal would keep clicking and blinking until you manually flipped the turn signal arm to its original position. So we dropped it off AGAIN, and another couple weeks go by where we don't know any status because no one answers the phone. When we picked up the car again, we noticed that they neglected to repair the driverside door lock. I don't understand how they "assessed" the damage of the theft initially yet didn't repair the most obvious damage. I mean how do you think a thief got into the car? It was obviously through the door because they took out the keylock cylinder (see photo attached). So then we take it BACK and leave the car for another couple weeks. During this time, we got an invoice sent to our email with a much higher total than they initially quoted us at. This is a good time to mention my partner's insurance. They paid the deductible and so the insurance paid for the rest of the cost of their repairs. Because the Hyundai Service department failed to complete the repairs initially, they had to send her insurance ANOTHER estimate, delaying the repairs for two more weeks. We couldn't reach them over the phone to ask why this was, so we had to drive over there, only for them to tell us it's just a glitch in the system and that price wasn't correct. The car was very close to being done, within 2 days is what we were told. An entire WEEK goes by and then the car was finally ready. The final result from all of this mess is a third party door lock with a whole different large key and the steering feel is much more stiff than the previous steering wheel. Terrible experience, terrible service, terrible customer service. Please never do business here. read more

This dealership is all about themselves. The GM Dave drives very recklessly around all of the cars in a Polaris, openly brags about how much money he makes, and the cars were all dirty. We came on a 100 degree day and were the only customers that were going through the buying process. The sales rep was amazing, but that's were the customer service ended. Mladin was a complete jerk to my wife, disrespected her, ignored her, and lied to us multiple times. I've been in sales for over 20 years and the one thing that will set me off is when a slick talker thinks he is smarter than you and talks his way around a lie. I called him out on a blatant lie, his ego got hurt and he walked off. It's really telling when the sales rep has to apologize to the customer for his boss. Next day, after all this, my wife still wanted to buy the car so I reached out to the sales rep who told me to come in and get it all situated. He mentioned the GM was going to call me...that never happened. I called the dealership and was told that the GM was in a meeting and wasn't in the building at the same time (another set of lies). Despite all of this, my wife wanted her dream car. So I was planning to go down and buy it the next day, only to be told that we are no longer allowed to buy the car. GM is a coward who never took the time to actual talk to his client, his Sales Manger is an egomaniac who was caught in two lies, and ran away. All was not lost, because we went online and found my wife dream car, same exact make/model/features for $4500 less at another dealership. We are proud owners of a new Hyundai, have a decent chunk of change in our pockets, and feel karma came through for us on this one. Please do yourself a favor if you are in the market for a Hyundai, and don't shop with this dealership. Update, GM called back after the review to apologize. That's worth and extra star in my book. Still won't be back due to they way we were treated, but hats off to Dave for taking this seriously. read more

We have had a Hyundai of various kinds for 15 years. Their service schedule is crazy. 5 weeks to get an oil change. I even called to see if there was a better time. Time to move to other side of the river where they can get you in, in a couple days. Very disappointing. read more

Got my EV serviced here. I've had it done multiple times and never really had a good experience. They charge you as much as possible, $250 just for brake fluid and alignment. I had 2 different factory defects with my car that I took to get fixed under warranty. To start, the "mechanic" that i worked with literally told me he knew nothing about EV's, so that was a great start. He further proved it by quoting me 2 days for a repair, and then they ended up having my car for almost 3 full weeks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They gave me a loaner, but of course it was the worst, most fuel inefficient vehicle they could have possibly chosen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not to mention I was expected to pay for all the gas (despite that I drive a EV and don't budget for it), when they very well could've given me an EV for a loaner. After FINALLY getting my vehicle back they did a half-assed job at putting things back together. There are still multiple points on my steering column and dash where plastic is obviously not seated properly and is bending the dash. I'm so incredibly frustrated. If you drive an EV, do everything you can to not buy or get service here. read more
