We were visiting the area, of course, to see the Steam Clock; so, while at it, we stopped by this small food stand selling Japanese-inspired hot dog. We ordered #1 Kurobuta Terimayo and #2 Okonomi. For a chilly sunny day, lol, these hot dogs were amazing for our body to warm up. The hotdogs were made as soon as we ordered; so, they were not cold, but warm and fresh-made! I loved the both Kurobuta Terimayo and Okonomi for its unique taste of Japanese food on a hotdog. I would love to try other ones if I'm ever in the area. The website states it comes with Falafel, served with rice, hummus, baba ganough, green salad, tabouleh salad, pickles, with tahini and hot sauce. Note: It does not come with baba or tabouleh. It was a bit sad to see them microwaving the rice and falafel. And they used the same tongues they used for the meat as the falafels. However, the food was good. The pomegranate dressing in the salad was nice. The falafels are huge and the homemade green sauce they add is delicious. The garlic sauce is amazing and I wished we had more. I also got a beer mug-shaped jar of mustard and some heavenly and huge meringues! They also had a ton of different kind of perogies in a freezer at the back of the store. Lots of cookies, candies and chocolates I have never seen before and can't wait to try on my next visit.
