Every time I went, there was enough cheese sauce and bacon, however each time there were never enough cheese curds, which was disappointing since that's the best part of poutine to me. That was kind of a bummer to hear. My fries and gravy were good though, and the portion of fries was pretty generous consider it's free. I love their gravy taste. Over the years, they just add less and less toppings. Thet used to not count tge number of pumps of gravy and just make sure it's all covered. Now theres only 2? pumps. The gravy still tastes good at least. A small scoop of cheese curds... almost too bare - you can see from the photos. Fries still taste the same. I was also here when you can sprinkle california seasoning yourself but now you have to ask for a packet and it's limited to 1 per poutine. Although it's a big packet, it feels like a waste because I don't use it all.

Typically when it's a national day of something, the stores doing some kind of promo would advertise it. You're only able to get the BOGO deal if you have their app. So, the two of us got 4 different loaded dogs to go. Each of the dog was priced at $7 something. Let me tell you, they are definitely not loaded. They gave minimal toppings. I had to adjust the dogs so that i was able to take yelp-worthy pictures. Anyway, we ended up adding shredded cheese and sent them to the toaster. Once the cheese was melted, we added some guacamole salsa. Then, it became loaded. What's funny is that their container indicated that the dogs are "premium". The dogs were definitely not premium. I've had better dogs or loaded dogs elsewhere. I would not have paid regular price for the kind of hot dogs i got.

Unfortunately, once I got to the market, I couldn't find the restaurant I was looking for. That's when Market Grill caught my eye. I noticed they had a salmon burger, and since I'd never had one before, I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Pacific Gold Salmon Burger, and it turned out to be the best thing I ate during my vacation in Vancouver. The salmon was moist, tender, flavorful, and a generous size. The bun was soft, and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. I especially liked the seasoning, and the honey mustard added a delicious flavor to the burger. It was served with a generous portion of thick-cut fries that were well seasoned and just as tasty as the burger. The meal cost $24.50 Canadian dollars, which worked out to about $16 USD. I thought it was a great value. If you like salmon and can only choose one thing to eat while visiting Granville Island Market, I highly recommend trying this burger.
