4.5 stars, rounded up. This KOA has beautiful views and is very dog friendly! I actually called a day ahead and made a reservation; it was easier to do than trying to reserve online or use the app. I was able to secure a pull-in spot with full hookups near a dog park. There's no water feature here but we had stunning mountain views all around us and lots of shade. It was in the upper 80s but the temperature here (at 6000 ft elevation) was not overwhelmingly hot. Sites are not close to each other and we scored on a corner spot complete with trees, a fire ring, picnic table and a doggie doo station. We had a ton of space! There's a dog run and two Kamp K9s; one is shaded and one is not. There's a short nature trail my dogs were enthusiastic about too. They were very happy here! The hardest thing for them was that even the driving paths were covered in rocks... they got sore paws trying to be nosy. My husband said this location has the absolute easiest and best wifi to connect to of all the KOAs we have visited. We enjoyed this one so much we stayed until checkout time just like we did at the Newton Iowa KOA. Pros: - a few miles off the highway; very quiet - lots of trees and beautiful views - very dog friendly; lots of poo stations - lots of amenities (game room, disc golf, pool, basketball, playground, volleyball court, etc) - lots of picnic tables - no codes for restrooms - huge shower stalls in the Women's Restroom (best showers so far!) - can do dishes in the laundry room or large sink outside - able to have two vehicles (only one at most locations, great for off-roading) Cons: - hard to navigate ourselves to our site (even the driving paths are covered in rocks) - not many trash cans around (but it's picturesque without em) read more

Beaver KOA - The girls favorite dog park on the trip! They asked to come back the next morning too. - Campgrounds Near Me - Beaver, Utah

Pulled in around 6 PM and there was someone at the desk to check us in $76 a night. Gravel sites with some trees. Quiet. Frolf baskets for putting practice. read more

I have stayed at this KOA for extended period over the last 26 years. I want to give a big hand to the staff and the present manager for the maintenance upgrades. This year I notice how the front and interior fences were repaired and painted, the barbwire fence on the north was repaired by them and it wasn't their responsibility. All picnic tables painted. A fire pit at each space. Clean restrooms and laundry areas. I like the way they police each spot, dis-infecting picnic tables after each check out. Consider this KOA in your travel plans off the 15 interstate. Joe S read more

We checked in for one night on our way home to California from Colorado. Got there late and yet had the most amazing service from Theresa. She went above and beyond to be helpful even in the dark of night. And was just as pleasant the next morning. We will make a point of staying here again simply because she made us feel so welcome and well taken care of. Thank you, Theresa. We appreciate you. read more

Campground is immaculate. Dog park and little nature trail is top notch, so appreciated by those of us traveling with our furry fam. Host was personable, informative and very helpful. Bathrooms are clean, spacious, and good water pressure and hot water! Pool and the entire facility are just lovely. Tent sites are actually grassy, and tables and fire pits are clean and weed free. Would def recommend, quiet sleepy chill vibes. Great for couples and families who want a more peaceful experience. We will be back! read more

Great stop on our road trip. It's nice that when you arrive late you can see what is available, choose then fill out check info & drop box it. Very clean and well taken care of read more

Polite staff, clean spot with lots of amenities! The pool closed a little too early for us to enjoy, but otherwise this was a great stay for the price. They have a few little cabins and open spaces for tent camping. Lots of options for little kids with the playground, horseshoes, corn hole, and a game room. They also have a community bathroom and showers, both of which were very clean and well kept! It's a little out of the way being at the north end of town, but it's fun to drive down "Main Street" to get there. read more

Keep in mind that this is not a really nice RV Park, this is not what they call an RV Resort, however, he park was super clean and the staff was amazing. We arrived early and the super nice lady let us check in. I've been to other parks where they made us wait. At first we did nit like our specific location so she let us look around and we moved. Our site was clean and everything worked great. The electric box was new and worked perfectly, the water pressure was good and the sewer system worked great. PRICING - "5 STARS" This particular RV park has great pricing. We were here in May and we paid less then $100 per night. We noticed that there were alit of people coming in just for one night. Big RV's pulling a car. Most of them did not even disconnect their pull vehicle. I understand that there is a lot of things to do in the Beaver area but we noticed that most people just kind of pulled in, git some sleep and moved on in the morning. CAMPING - "4 STARS" The camping is OK, nothing great about any of the sites, however, with that being said I guess all the campsites are clean, everything is new and all the hook ups seem to work great. We ended up with a couple great spots, there was two of us so we had a nice campsite in between our rigs that we hung out in. RESTROOMS & SHOWERS - "5 STARS" The restrooms and the showers are not good they are great! Very clean, lots of hot water and because the park was nit very busy there were no lines and we could take our time. THINGS TO DO - "5 STARS So we just chilled but we were told that there was great fishing in the area, lots of off-road trails and there is a really KOOL dairy farm around the corner that makes greasy cheese, ice cream and has an awesome restaurant that we highly recommend you visit. Inside the park there is a swimming pool, corn home, Frisbee Golf and a place to run your dogs. We drove up in to the mountains and played in the river. Absolutely beautiful!! THE CAMPERS "5 STARS" We only met a handful of people but everyone was super nice. CUSTOMER SERVICE "5 STARS" The customers service here is great. The person on the phone was really nice and the person that checks you in is great. There was a lady working the store that has been with KOA for something like 30 years. She was super nice! OVERALL "5 STARS" At the end of the day this is a really nice old school RV Park. I think unease told that this place has been here once the 1960's and is one of the original top 50 KOA RV Parks. If your passing through Beaver and you need a nice, clean and friendly place to stay please check this place out. read more

After our trip to Yellowstone we stopped here for the night. We got there in the afternoon. The staff was friendly. In particular one, I cant remember her name, she went above and beyond. Our kiddos enjoyed playing basketball, pickleball and the playground. It felt like we did so much in a couple of hours. I would definitely camp there again. read more

Enjoyed our night there especially the staff who rode the golf cart. He helped us hookup. The manager was very pleasant and outgoing. We would definitely come stay here again. read more

Beaver KOA - LOTS OF TREES! WE GIVE THEM TWO THUMBS UP!!! - Campgrounds Near Me - Beaver, Utah

Never ever come back to this place again ALL staff ruined my stay not friendly especially the older lady when I checked in no shade any, she was upset that I wanted to change sites. No fire pit at our site. Man that filled probane wasn't happy about his job. We won't be back. read more

This was a nice campground. Tons to do for kids a nice pool with a 2' end for smaller kids, horseshoes, frisbee golf, bean bags, tether ball....only tip I have is you have to share electrical with your neighbor. If you run on 30amp and your neighbor got there first have an adapter to use the 50amp otherwise you have to share it...if they're sleeping already you're out of luck. read more

Beaver KOA Journey is a great place to stay. I count on it when I travel between California and Northern Utah or Colorado. The management is super nice. I gave them the wrong length of my rig and truck, and at 10 pm I called, they answered and set me up with a new space. Awesome. The grounds are clean. The bathrooms are clean. There are also a couple of decent places to eat. It's a great layover. I've been in the pool too and that is super fun. Check it out on your next trip through the area and get yourself some good rest. read more

Great place for meeting half from NE to CA. Pit Stop for rest, eat, play and pitch a tent. Although its in the middle of nowhere, there is some peace and quite. Beautiful views and solitude. Reconnect with earth. Thumbs up. read more

We haven't stayed here and will not in the future because of the host's unwillingness to give quality customer service. We called today and made a last minute reservation as we are on our way home from Yellowstone. We called back and canceled 20 minutes later due to our friend booking a different campsite at the same time. The host said they would charge 50$ for cancelling. We agreed and called back to see if we could apply that 50 to a one night stay instead. The answer was a quick no. So enjoy the 50$ you got for answering your phone and taking our info. read more

I love this place, but be warned: the damn songbirds come out at night--like some other folks warned me--and it's impossible to sleep without earplugs. Unless you're in a trailer. Which I wasn't. Not that anyone who stays in this place will ever read Yelp. But just the same. read more

We stayed in a tent spot and it was clean, (much cleaner than the Motel 6 and no flies!) They had fun areas for kids to play including a playground, corn hole, a pool table, one video game, and even a dog park. There were trees and just overall pretty great for the $30. The only thing we didn't appreciate was how close we were to the freeway we could hear the trucks. read more

One of the nicest KOA parks in Utah. Pet friendly -- has a nice small enclosed dog park. Lots of amenities, clean, not far from the freeway, biking distance to some quick food locations, open surrounding areas give it a restful and peaceful feel. Open until 8 PM, which was better than other RV parks in the surrounding areas. read more

I stopped in here for a single night stay in a tent during a road trip in August 2015. As you would expect for a KOA or similar, it's definitely geared toward RVs, but the tent sites were refreshingly well appointed and inviting. Most RV campgrounds include tent camping as an afterthought. Not here. The tent area was grassy and spacious, with picnic tables in good condition and a fire pit in each site. Mature trees provided ample shade. My kids and I had plenty of space for playing frisbee and such before the sun went down. The park is located off the beaten path, which kept noise to a minimum overnight. I can't speak to the RV experience here, but for tent camping it was top notch. The facilities were clean, well maintained and provided everything we needed. The grounds were as neatly manicured as any campground I've seen. We ended up staying a while the next morning and played with some games that were provided for the kids. I also met the owner, who was very friendly and we chatted for a few minutes. It was clear that he takes pride in this campground. The whole park was very quiet and peaceful - a great place to rest for a night, or even longer. I would definitely stop in again when passing through here. 5 stars. read more

I recently stayed here at the Beaver KOA, which is under new ownership. Restrooms were absolutely filthy, two toilets plugged. They only clean once a day at noon. I've stayed here numerous times, not really sure if I'll stay again. read more

Great place to stay! Nice & clean, NICE Laundry facility too! Camped with four other RV's and accommodated all of us together! Campsites were nice and large. All of us had RAZORS and needed to off old, plenty of room for that! Lady in the office was a sweetheart! WIFI worked great, we would stay here again! Thanks Beaver KOA, great time! read more

Clean restrooms and grounds in general. Well kept common spaces and very friendly staff. Only complaint was the aggressive and overly abundant common house flies. They were into everything. Not sure if it was a symptom of mid-August or if it occurs at other times in the summer. Suggest you prepare for it and enjoy your stay. read more

We just stayed here last weekend with 3 families and 3 RV's. Nice big pull thru spots and very clean. The folks who own it couldn't be any nicer, very friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms were very clean with 3 showers and plenty of room. The grounds were very nice with lots of grass to walk your dog and another area for playing games. There is also a dog agility area which was pretty cool. A playground that my grandkids loved and also a pool. There's also a store with a pool table and a very clean laundromat. The big red dog that I can't remember his name that lives there was super friendly and even he had a smile on his face. I would recommend this KOA park and we'll be staying here when we're in the area. read more

Nice gal who checked me in. Very cute bathroom. I had a tent site, but was sleeping in my car. I was put in a group grass site which is the first time that's happened. It meant I couldn't park next to my grassy tent site, which meant my poor dog had to be chained up on gravel. They have a really nice dog run with agility equipment, which is cool. I just wish I'd been given a different tent site! read more

Very nice. Helpful staff. Very clean. Great accommodations for my dog. Would stay here again. Song birds aren't a problem

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this KOA on the way to Idaho so much that we stayed another night on our return trip. Took a drive into Fishlake National Forest...so relaxing and beautiful. The grounds are kept nice with picnic tables in a park like setting. In the evening we sat in the 'porch' swing on the grass to watch the sunset. Our travel trailer was located in the front near the street which is quite busy. I was awakened by traffic noise the first night, but after that it didn't bother me. read more

Great Dog area!!!! They had there own agility arena...too cute! Owners were great. They were even willing to drive us into town for dinner since we weren't towing a car this trip. laundry worked great.
