Stayed in RV park while visiting Brice Canyon. The location is good. The staff is very nice. The WiFi is terrible and the good views are down by river but be mindful that it puts you further from bathrooms. Laundry is 3$ wash3$ dry. This is the view from our picture window in RV

A good campground that has two RV sections down the hill from the motel and further away from the highway. First there are two rows of 50AMP full hookup pull thrus that are wide with picnic tables on gravel. Further back are tent and 30AMP back-in water and electric sites on the river. Our pull-thru was not that level, so we had to put 4" blocks under the front levelers. Nice people and they warned us when it was going below freezing, so we could disconnect water. They have wifi and both Verizon and AT&T work. It was not far into Bryce Canyon National Park and just a bit further to Cedar Breaks National Monument, both worth visiting. Groceries are in Panguich, 14 miles north.

We found this place after another RV park in town gave away our reserved spot. That was fortuitous, as the Riverside Ranch Motel and RV Park had RV spots that backed right up to the Sevier River! Bill and his wife have taken over the operation of the resort from their kids and are making improvements to the place. We were present for the christening of their new fire pit. Pluses include: ability to fish right outside of your RV, great river views, fabulous sunsets reflecting off the pink cliffs to the east , fabulous moonrises over the east ridge, and lots of songbirds. The site amenities (fire pits, hookups, tables, etc) could use some improvement, but the location along the river more than compensates. The location near Hatch is great for visiting Bryce Canyon and is about an hour away from Zion. Overall we had a great experience here and will return if we get back this way.

Rooms are nice, scenery is awesome. Fly fishing the Sevier river on site was a great plus. Hosts Dar and Tish were the coolest. 15 minutes from Bryce and 1.2 hrs from Zion.

Just had an incredible weekend at Riverside RV Park. Our spot was backed up against the river so my fiancé could do a little fishing. Beautiful spot, friendly people and clean...what more can you ask for. We will be back!

Were so glad we found this place!! The owner Bill was so accommodating. He showed us everything from where to eat and where to go places. Our room was very clean and big. The best part was our camp fire. He went out of his way to start the campfire for us. We surely enjoyed our time at the ranch and the breakfast with Bill was entertaining!

The manager was lovely to talk to and she gave us insight into a few of our restaurants choices and the nearby Laundromat (of which we took full advantage). Bryce Canyon is so close and there are several restaurant options nearby. There's also a convenience store, a gas station and a cute coffee shop. Every night they do smores at the firepit. We wandered over on our second night and had great conversations with people from Wisconsin, Germany and Montreal. Things I would change: mattresses, & maybe a little more ambience like pretty flowers in containers outside each cabin.

However, the Desert Pearl is well-deserving of a positive review. I first discovered this place 26 years ago, and I estimate that I have stayed here 20 times over the years. Over 26 years, never once have I been disappointed. I have recommended this place countless times to my family and friends. For starters, the rooms have a rustic modern style with expansive balconies or patios that include Adirondack chairs for relaxing while taking in the views of the red mountains, which are right in front of you. When awaking in the morning, simply roll up the shades, and you can enjoy the sunrise on the mountains while in bed or while having a cup of coffee on the loveseat in the seating area. The kitchenette is a nice addition, especially on hiking days. You can make yourself a simple breakfast prior to your morning hike(s). On lazier days, the addition of the restaurant was a major upgrade within the past few years. One request for management: The coffeemakers could use an upgrade to full-sized models with additional coffee mugs also stocked. However, I will note the availability of a small drawer-type dishwasher that is also included in the kitchenette. Location: The DPI is conveniently located in Springdale with a shuttle stop right in front of the hotel. There are many restaurant, shopping, and art/photo galleries located easily within walking distance. The entrance to Zion National Park is just a short shuttle ride (1mile) to the visitor's center or short car ride to the entrance to the park. I appreciate management's ability to maintain the beauty of the rooms and grounds over the years. The pool and spa are always in great shape. Electric vehicle parking spots have also been added. One future upgrade request: I like the bathroom design with separate sink/closet area and separate shower/toilet area. The pocket sliding doors are also a nice space-saving feature. However, I would like to see a shower makeover to a larger, more modern walk-in design rather than a tub and shower curtain (I do appreciate the curved curtain rod to gain space.) design. Overall, I rate this 5-stars. The Desert Pearl is truly one of my favorite hotels of all time. I look forward to my next visit!
