My family and I go here often for little groceries. Very nice staff. Good food. Love the pizza and burgers. They are made to order.

When you return empty bottles, the machine does NOT provide a return ticket. On several occasions, my husband has been asked by the lead Sales Associate for his exchange ticket. We have briefly interacted with this lovely woman for years; however, the fact is she knows the Primo machine does not provide exchange tickets when she's asking you for the ticket. On another occasion, a younger Sales Associate did the same thing and then told my husband they are trying to make sure people are being honest. We cannot drink our well water and purchase Primo exchange bottles at Food Lion routinely. To avoid this accusatory encounter, I have now resorted to self-checkout. To do so, simply search for the product by typing "Primo" and select the 5 gallon exchange. The lead Sales Associate will still give judgmental looks, but she can't do anything about self-checkout personal accountability. The honor system does not work if you're going to routinely accuse your customer base of theft. Fix the Primo exchange machine and then you will fix the problem.

Its location right next to Planet Fitness makes it incredibly convenient for a post-workout stop, whether you are grabbing something quick and healthy or planning meals for the week. Finishing a workout and walking into Wegmans feels like a reward in itself. The fresh foods section is excellent, with a wide variety of prepared meals, fresh produce, bakery items, and ready-to-eat options that make it easy to eat well without a lot of effort. The dine-in area is clean, spacious, and comfortable, perfect for sitting down with a quick meal or coffee instead of rushing out the door. This is a large footprint store, but it is well laid out and inviting, which turns a regular grocery run into more of an experience. There is so much to explore that it genuinely makes grocery shopping feel like a bit of an adventure rather than a chore. Between the convenience, quality, and overall atmosphere, this Wegmans is a standout and a place I actually enjoy going back to.

They go above and beyond to help out - last time, the worker even gave me a see-through container for my sandwich since I had mentioned I would be taking it on an airplane and she wanted to make my trip through TSA smoother. It's usually pretty busy inside, but there's always a lot to see and it never feels too hectic, so it's one of my favorite places to stop by when I can.

Another visit to our local Food Lion…read more Pre-Independence Day, the store is running some great specials on holiday essentials -- large seedless watermelons for $2.49, corn on the cob (4 for $1), and Turkey Hill ice cream (2 for $6). All were in stock and looking good. We were less successful in finding some items from our shopping list. I needed some specific produce items for recipes that weren't on the shelves -- eggplants, mung bean sprouts, scallions -- though they often carry them. While the latter two items were not in stock, we got exceptional service from a young man who was stocking items in the produce section. He ran back-and-forth to the back, with a smile on his face, to see if any of these items were there, waiting to be put out on the shelves. He found eggplants for us, and also an estimate for when the other items would be coming in. We love that this Food Lion is now selling fresh organic herbs -- basil, cilantro, mint, rosemary, and more -- that are still in small pots with dirt. We purchased a mint one for $3.49, which provides a larger quantity of fresh product than the small amount in the plastic containers. We also wanted to buy a basil one but many of the basil leaves were shriveled and dry so we opted for one of the small plastic containers. I also needed some specialty items -- and was unsuccessful in finding coriander seeds, star anise, and rice vermicelli noodles. The latter seemed to be sold there but were out-of-stock. Sigh, I've just had to order these three items online from a large retailer. A final note. We had a pleasant check-out experience. The line was short, the cashier was VERY friendly and efficient, and our bill was correct.

The only store that sell this in the Crozet area. I come here for the avocados. If there are local organic vegetables, make sure to buy it right away! Cheaper than HT and WF. Most of their produce are cheaper but a hit or miss, I usually find that they have better produce on Wednesdays(?). Speaking of local, I could not believe my eyes when I saw pasture-raised eggs from Farfield Farms at Afton, Va! I have been lurking for so long and I have never been happier. Granted that they carry grass-fed beef and pasture raised chickens, I would totally become their most loyal customer, and my family's food budget spent here! FYI:I've seen someone who work for a restaurant here in Crozet buy ground beef in bulk. LOL! Just make your own burgers at home! What else to get here: European wild caught sardines, Dr. Bronners liquid soap, beans and rice. Concierge?! Who said chivalry is dead? The gentlemen who work here would help carry my grocery bags to my car.

This is also one of many times prices have come up several dollars different than the sticker matching the product. This is a ripoff. Go to Harris Teeter; if they make a mistake, they fix it and they're about as local as "Crozet Market." I've overpaid several times because lines are so long with only one cashier that I don't make a fuss but y'all need to fix price tags and provide service. Don't expect one cashier to run your whole store, especially since you charge more than any other market.
