My husband had a super long massage since he did not get polish which I thought was super nice! I've been to many places with my husband and that generally does not happen! Twinkle is a favorite spot in Sparks, it's easy access and I do recommend a reservation! Although they take walk-ins if they have time. Because the salon was closed Monday and my work schedule didn't allow me to return until Thursday, I went back a few days later and politely asked if my nails could be corrected. Unfortunately, the situation was handled very unprofessionally. The nail technician, Tayween, became visibly upset when I requested a fix and repeatedly told me she could not control how fast my nails grow, despite my concern being about the application placement. She began removing the polish but grew increasingly frustrated, raised her voice, and complained about the time it would take to correct the work. Due to how uncomfortable the interaction became, my nails were never fixed. I paid $70 for a simple French tip, and within four days the polish was already chipped and the set looked weeks old. I understand that mistakes can happen, but customer service and professionalism matter when a client respectfully asks for a correction. Based on this experience, I would not recommend returning for services if an issue arises, as concerns may not be handled appropriately.

It's been 1 week today and I already have lifting on both of my big toes. Very annoying but this is the exact reason why I normally do my own at home for free. Also, I got a French pedi and the white is REALLY thick but I'd already asked them to thin it twice and I didn't know how to speak up without sounding rude (thanks autism), so I already knew it wasn't a design I loved but I could live with it in the winter when nobody's really going to see it anyway. The lifting gives an opportunity for nail health disasters so I'm taking them off soon bc that's the real issue. If I didn't know (and do) good nails, I would've been happy with what I got which is why I'm giving 3 stars. If you're looking for a long-lasting pedi, this is probably not be the place your search leads you to. Also, my friend made an appointment for 12:30 and we were still waiting at 12:50 so we had to reschedule so grab a fun snack and drink before coming if you do schedule an appointment! I gave them another chance and just got pedicure with regular nail polish. First she didn't do everything that was included in my pedicure. While she was painting my toes I thought she only did one coat but thought I may have missed her doing both coats. The full set was a 45 minute appointment that included a great vibe and awesome conversation. She explained her process very well and was gentle. Many places don't do that anymore. The location was easy to find in the Clear Acre's strip mall. I was welcomed by the Owner Jenny and she passed me off to Isela, she started a couple weeks ago. It's a Latino driven shop. They have pedicures, deluxe and VIP. I got the deluxe I wish now I got the VIP for $5 more to receive the paraffin wax . The range is $60-75 for gel and $5.00 for decoration. I was there for a hour and half, Isela took her time. She can do free style art work or stickers. I chose the stickers. The place was spotless and they asked if I like a small bottle of water which is always a nice touch. I paid with cash not sure if there was a credit card fee or not. No discount for cash. The Technician was very gentle sometimes I do prefer the cheese grater for my winter callous, but otherwise, I'd go back, but I'm always on a mission to try different nail salons in the area.

I went there with my daughter today for her to get a manicure and for me to get a pedicure. We had…read morea 6:00 p.m. appointment but I don't really think there was actually a time slot that they reserved for that appointment. When we arrived, I explained that my daughter had long nails and she wanted to see how to shape them properly so she wanted to get a manicure. They kind of looked at us like we were crazy when I said that. Although it's a little odd, my daughter's nails on her index fingers had broken and were shorter....she wanted to keep the length on the rest of her nails. Anyway, they had me sit over in a pedicure chair with about an inch of cold water in the tub while they gave her a manicure. The manicure took about 10 minutes. Although my daughter said she wanted to keep the length of her nails, the nail technician decided that she wanted to cut half the length. During the manicure the nail tech was on a video call. She was extremely rough with my daughter twisting her fingers from side to side. At one point she put my daughter's hand in her hand and popped her knuckles at which time my daughter said please don't do that. Then the technician asked her, you don't like that? Her nails, in the picture I'm including, look like crap. When she was done putting on clear polish, the employee told her you're done, be careful. I was still sitting in a pedicure chair soaking my feet in cold water. After waiting another 10 minutes in the pedicure chair, somebody came over to finally start my pedicure. She turned on the water and it began spraying on me on the chair and making puddles on the floor. At that point I was kind of over the whole situation and said we were just going to leave. They did apologize but when I went up to the front counter the women that had did the crappy manicure, was ringing us up for the manicure. another woman, who I believe was the manager, came up and said no charge. I do appreciate that we were not charged. When there was previous owners and employees at this nail salon, I loved going there. The employees were friendly and did a great job. I always had Laurie or David do my pedicures, I see their pictures on the website but they were not in the salon. They were amazing, too bad the other employees are not. It's disappointing that there are new owners and although they have redecorated nicely, they are unprofessional and do not take any pride in their work. I wish I would have looked at the Yelp review before I went but I assumed it was the same management / owners. There is a reason this place has 2.5 stars.

I told her don't want cut that short since it was my first time With her she cut so short with no blending that I have areas that the hair sticks out. I can't get it to lay down. My hair is not in layers it's butchered. Should be able to get money back when this happens. It's getting harder to get someone that listens to what you want and does a good job.
